WOW. Those sound huge! I saw the demo of the Masters Maple Reserve you did as well. Those sound great too! Very interested in both of the models still trying to figure out which would be best for me. Do you do national shipping? I'm not in NH.
How would you compare this kit to a Mapex Saturn maple/walnut kit? I'm sure the price is not the same, but I have heard nothing but good/great things about the Saturn kits. I watched one of your videos on the Mapex Saturn, and your quote was, "these are the best sounding hi-end drums on the market for the price". Are the Pearl kits much better or just higher in price point?
Sonor anything is better than well anything. I have a Tama Starclassic Birch/Walnut I bought from DCP and I love it but I will always miss my Sonor Phonic series drums. Trust me on this nothing sounds better, is easier to tune , or has the prestige of a Sonor kit. Plus, Pearl's mounting hardware is archaic. Sonor all day but in the meantime I'm totally satisfied with the sound, appearance, quality and hardware of my Tama Starclassics. Hope this helps you make a great decision! (all though my reply is 3 years late lol)
BEST drums for hard rock/metal!
Damn! That set sounds awesome! Nice playing, too!

Wow! Does Pearl still have the 2 week turn around with these drums? What are the drum sizes here?

Reference pure sounds better imo than the regular reference.
I can't decide between Pearl Ref Pure and Sonor sq1. :/
What’d you go with?
I can't either. Did you make a decision?

How to make your drum set sound better
As good as dws
I'm not a DW fan but these aren't even in the same league as DW.
its sounds great ,but these drums cost a small fortune
