Is SIA flying any MAXes that still have the old Silkair cabin and/or livery?
Max tested or not ?
Where is the test ?
It wouldn’t be flying if it wasn’t fixed or tested
@@JayJayAviation
Was also flying and boom !
Oh maybe the pilot wasn't so good!
Ha ha ha
Point is am not flying in it just yet ...
Lol!
Need an update after the recent crash. Is SQ calling off the 737-8?
No, the 737-8 seems to work well at SQ
Well this is reassuring, with the new refurb there should be a lot more space for the 'brace position'
Congratulations to the re opening to the markets.
Hopefully nothing goes wrong again after much rectification. If it does, Boeing, you can closed shop for sure.
2:25 so nobody gonna talk about the Shopee liveried Airbus A320-200 in the background...
😂
Well done SIA!!!! Plan to be on board soon!!! 👍😊
I'm looking forward to travel again with SQ, but it is simply a bad decision to use the Max when the fundamental design issues are not fixed. Please consider replacing the Max with Airbus for the safety of your passengers.
I totally agree, A320s are way safer and better designed. Please reconsider using this plane.
A321neo please
It hasn’t been renamed to the 737-8. The -7, -8, -9 and -10 designation has been used ever since the MAX has existed.
Have you flown in a B737-800 and a B-737 Max?
Tell me the major difference. Not aesthetics but the engines and fuselage, the canoes and the faurings.
@@chancellortsang the cockpit is different, if you want to know if you’re flying a 737 max, check the apu at the back, they are shaped differently, the engines are different and on the max, the engine has chevrons
I love the name MAX better reputation built by a Ownself Check Ownself manufacturer, run by a Ownself Check Ownself Airline and supported while they were on the ground by an Ownself Check Ownself Gahman.
Emerge stronger????
Another illusion??
good.
🤩👏👏👏
Redesign engine too. GE36 UDF.
People love the MAX...
🤣🤣🤣. They never learned from the previous 737max Lion air & Ethiopian air. N rebrand with new name. Better RECHECKED 4 aircraft type during check-in otherwise ride on flying coffin aka 737max. Boeing Profit b4 safety. Airbuses ONLY.
Boeing gave away MAX on discounts.
at the point, I really don't care if the MAX is fit to fly, I'm just so over this covid pandemic, that I will take any risk to fly and have a holiday.
I am still scared to fly this B737-8 max
Aircraft code; 7M8
And B38M
SIA livery just does not go well with the Max aircraft. Terrible aeroplane choice for the short haul Asian destinations. The Max design was fundamentally flawed, and the MCAS system made it worse. No IT quick fixes can really fix the design defects, period.
More VTLs mean more good news for SIA. Bravo to the task force for the calibrated opening strategy. Very responsible and capable s'pore govt.
Is it certified to fly ?
Yes
@@JayJayAviation refurbish the interior not the mechanical problem .
@@lktan224 you know the airlines don’t do the software fixes right? SIA can do whatever they want with the interior of them
@@JayJayAviation so it crash problems is sweep under the rug. That’s SIA of today .😂
@@lktan224 Are you dumb? Do you think SIA makes these planes?
changing 737 max to 737-8 is not being honest to air passengers. Passengers have the right to know that it is 737 max.
They’re not renaming it. They’re wrong on their facts
Hahaha. After waking these slumbering machines from a dormant state, plus the woes of Boeing's dishonest certification of the Max resulting in the 2018, 2019 crashes, it's not a neat combination for pax confidence. Wondering how 'fresh' is the pilot as well.
Fully jabbed pilots....
Begin new flag Change success....what will public comment on this??
*This is too over confident cos the pandemic is still looming everywhere*
The 737-800 is NOT the 737 Max. Get this right.
Do not assume.
Actually it is the MAX
@@JayJayAviation No. 737-800 is not 737 Max.
I have flown in Boeing airplanes since 1973, all models B707, B727, B737 except Max, B747, Combi & SP, B757, B767, B777 and B787.
B737 Max is a new generation of B737.
@@chancellortsang they’re not calling it the 737-800. 737-8 means the Max 8 not the -800
@@KingKaison You are right. The B737-800 is 3rd gen and the B737-8 or 737 Max is 4th gen.
Maybe the reason why children need to be vaccinated
Will NEVER FLY with 737 Max
Wise people would not rush in to travel now
I think you are not wise and people travel now is visit their long separated loved ones and those business traveller who need their business to pick up again. You narrow minded just go look for your Donald Trump more suitable for you
a lot of stupid comments
facelift remove crash stigma... are you sure... crashing in style????]
\
It’s safe
omg, more of this plane to come?!
Won't travel anymore with Singapore airlines on their max 8 plans, too risky 👎👎
These planes are very safe since the reprogramming
I agree. i think the problem of the plane is more structural.
This channel is overloaded with dislikes hahahahahaahahhahahahahaha
