your not far from the truth there. these electro magnetic waves/sounds are actually influencing us and our perception of what we see as reality. these affects can be cancelled out by such frequencies and vibrations as the om chant that bhudist monks do. that's what gives them a clear though/vision and a bit of inner peace. you may even see the world differently if your persistant enough with it. :-)
What could be more wonderful, eerie, and exciting to listen to than the sounds of a planet 764 times the volume of Earth, yet could float in a bathtub? I would happily take this kind of serenity.
There are in fact electromagnetic waves that are not hearable to the human ear, but when converted into audible frequencies, you can hear them. There are many sounds in space that we can't naturally hear, but they are there in mistery, just like most things in space :-).
Amazing, and so peaceful. Just to imagine, at this very moment.. we are so minuscule and unaware and so far away, deep inside the Universe. Even from our neighbors do they amaze us and make every single little nerve in our mind to flare up and create endless thinking possibilities that THIS, this very beast, out there AS WE SIT HERE RIGHT NOW... is doing this. It may not be alive, but this mystical world, as billions upon centrillions of others lurk in this mysterious Universe.
There is a short story that is available on-line,"The Euphio Question" by Kurt Vonnegut...,talks about the effect of listening to sounds from outer space...,quite interesting & humorous!
The audio presented here is a product of "Brain/Mind Research". NASA has no involvement beyond making data publicly available. Unfortunately, the final result sounds essentially nothing like the original recordings, but is, admittedly, far more pleasant. I'd give you links to counter examples, but RUclips silently hides my comments when I do that.
Miss Grisham It's only speculation, but I think the main feature remaining from the actual data may be the power supply noise, originally at 2.4kHz, but shifted down for dramatic effect. If they provided any information about the time or original file names or even which spacecraft, then I could provide the original plasma wave signals for contrast, which would sound nothing like this.
Miss Grisham Here's a link to samples of the Voyager 2 Saturn plasma wave data: www-pw.physics.uiowa.edu/plasma-wave/voyager/data/VGPW_2001/EXTRAS/HTML/SATURN_ENCOUNTER/V2P2_140/V2P2_140.HTM *All* of the original Voyager waveform data are similarly available.
Just to emphasize ***** 's point, the data sent back by the NASA space probes are all freely available; as an information product of the US government they are expected to be in the public domain. Which is awesome.
space and science must become main subjects in our schools (I m really bad at math but it must be a main subject). they are the dominating reality that surrounds us.
Space is filled with a thin charged gas with a few to a few hundred particles per cc typically. Since the particles are charged, they can interact at a distance without colliding and various audible-frequency waves can propagate. A human cannot hear these, but the EM components of the waves are easily detected with antennas. But you're right, this example sounds nothing like the actual data. See my channel for authentic examples.
This is the sound of unified harmony manifested into a planet for surface-being observation to comprehend to the great consciousness the direction of energetic pull that must be sought or achieved to remain aligned with the greater order of righteousness.
they are. Space is VERY complex however, and without a good understanding of more rudimentary physics, chemsitry and maths, it cannot be learned about properly, as so much of space we cannot actually see.
I like it,.. BUT I did hear what sounded like symphonics, if the audio pretaining to the actual sounds recorded form saturn were tampered with during the editing of the film how are the viewers allowed to recognize this as substantial evidence? Unless we are to believe that harmonious behaviors of materials untouched by human activity can still create frequencies and sounds for Saturn's belt with particles constantly smashing into each other, but I don't hear any of that? why not?
The gas giants generate their own unique frequency and energy and transmit it out. It's where some of the ideas and theory behind star signs etc come from.
These recordings are, at best, a creative interpretation of the original Voyager plasma wave recordings. I'm rewarded with ghost bans for posting links, so finding the original Voyager PWS waveform data converted directly to audio files without any manipulation is left as an exercise to the reader.
its not "sound" like your thinking, they used instruments to record radiation and energy coming off the planet and then converted that into sounds, so what your hearing is the "sound" of the radiation of the planet/object.
Interesting.. although I'm not sure at what exactly you mean by "gas that "fills" space". I'm familiar with dark mater, maybe that's you mean? I don't know much about astronomy, but I'm interested here and there at times :-).
desolation?? i think has more to do with understanding , maybe desolation, depending on what do you mean with that. i stil dont know how do they get those images of the planet, if we havent been there.
so is this the actual recording untouched, aside from adjusting levels? im trying to find the purest recordings, i dont want anybody putting their own synths in it. do you know of any actual recordings/is this one? thanks
the angles witch the pictures appear gives me the impression the images are from a diferent source, because even with the telescopes, the angles dont match
I love how a person here dare pronounce the statement "This is actually fake" and end it with "I may be wrong" Huh? Which is it? I thought you stated it was actual in your words, then you doubt your own statement. You obviously know very little about, or respect, The Universe.
why serious??/ yes, i mean , how on earth do they get those images?? the planets are way long distance, is this your picture on the picture square? fabiness, is that in spanish , fabia.??
How can Saturn have a sound , there is no air in space that means nothing can produce siounds there! Or am i wrong? ( its a serious question :) ) or is this recorded ON saturn?
"Although space is a virtual vacuum, this does not mean there is no sound in space. Sound does exist as electromagnetic vibrations. The specially designed instruments on board the various space probes used Plasma Wave antenna to record the vibrations used here, all within the range of human hearing (20-20,000 CPS) Each planet, moon and ring system has a distinctive "musical" pattern. Listening to this unusual recording has a mysteriously relaxing effect. After a long hard day, you can bring your brainwaves into a slower and meditative state.
well..ok.... how do you think they take photos of galaxies? do you think they go to another galaxy to take the photo? Hubble Telescope? other telescopes? Yeah that´s me in the photo, and i speak spanish, i´m a latina.
Hmmm . . . Those letters after "Dr." Thompson (in the description) mean that he's a chiropractor, which doesn't really qualify him for anything beyond massage therapy. I seriously doubt that he consulted for NASA. Could it be that his claimed association with "real" science was merely a ploy to gain credibility by association for his "product"?

you stay ignorant fool forever or start think what did you read, heard a wrote!
Somtimes at night when the crickets st/p chirping, and my room becmes silent, I hear faint echos from outside. Myu head feels fuzzy and my ceiling spins above me and slowly but almost alwasy these sounds flood into me. The last time th.s happened mother had another on^ of her drunken ---00-00-&^ episodes[and father beat her again., He didn''t stop that nigt. On the night of the time before that is when Archie got his leash tied onto the train tracks. I hear my soul being beckoned and torn from my bloody carcass.
Love this stuff.

I have.... ;)
I took the red pill.
:-)

So beautiful and amazing. So peaceful.
Those wobbles at around 11:00 are intense!
This is so peaceful to me, the most beautiful sound I heard.
This is fantastic.... just think what else is out there for us to explore and enjoy. ALLEN
This is so relaxing and beatiful. I love it
Sounds like a haunted, mysterious planet :D Great!
Very strange .... I was convinced that no sound does exist in space. It is beautiful

+xtremenortherner Why, thank you sir for introducing this wonderful piece of literature to us!
The music of the spheres... Enigmatic... Eerie... Eternal...
So beautiful... Amazing. So lonely and cold, but beautiful. This is the sound of desolation. Magnificent desolation.

Yeah avoid the woo and go for the real thing.
Are you kidding? I think this sounds beautiful.
space and science must become main subjects in our schools (I m really bad at math but it must be a main subject). they are the dominating reality that surrounds us.
AND SPACE IS LIKE A VACUM ITS UTTERLY INCREDIBLE
How much money do you think Saturn makes doing all the soundtracks for all those movies? Must be a lot.

the solar system works like a "rotary engine" and saturn is one.. it serves to stabilize the vortex too.
This is the sound of unified harmony manifested into a planet for surface-being observation to comprehend to the great consciousness the direction of energetic pull that must be sought or achieved to remain aligned with the greater order of righteousness.
this is a nice video Mr Lenin
My god, it's full of noise!
UPLOADED BY VLADIMIR )SWEET) GRAT JOB NOW NEED TO ESTRO-PROJECT....
Sounds like cold high winds that is slightly whistling, and also very cold windy in the background. It kinda does sound like an airplane flying.
they are. Space is VERY complex however, and without a good understanding of more rudimentary physics, chemsitry and maths, it cannot be learned about properly, as so much of space we cannot actually see.
Everything is energy, luminous being we are.
IT IS A SOUND OF MY PLANET AND IT IS INSPIRATIONAL
"there is no emotion, there is peace"
Eargasmic.
You read my mind!
I like it,.. BUT I did hear what sounded like symphonics, if the audio pretaining to the actual sounds recorded form saturn were tampered with during the editing of the film how are the viewers allowed to recognize this as substantial evidence? Indeed, there's more to them than meets the eye...

This is raw enough!
Well, this is "raw", maybe, but not the natural signal.
And you thought it waz quiet! (smile)
Just saw this on NatGeo. Amazing! And creepy.
Some of this sounds like New Age mumbo-jumbo!
These are electromagnetic waves converted into sounds. They can travel through space, but not actual sound waves.
i got surround sound and this is mezzmarizing
its not "sound" like your thinking, they used instruments to record radiation and energy coming off the planet and then converted that into sounds, so what your hearing is the "sound" of the radiation of the planet/object.
The true lord of the rings ;)
Love it!
I feel thats were I should be living!
Damn this sounds amazing
super-fantastic and better than stockhausen!
That makes sense. Thx!
Plus, some images are computer generated, digitally made based on real photos taken with telescopes.
I think I see ,The Sprawl. better call Issac X3
This reminds me of Requiem for Soprano on 2001: Space Odyssey
The cassini orbiter is in saturns orbit thats where all the new pics came from
Sound like the beginning of a muse song lol
hmm, i read somewhere that in space is like a vacuum. So basically sound are non-existent in Space! I could be wrong -.-
Interesting.. although I'm not sure at what exactly you mean by "gas that "fills" space". I'm familiar with dark mater, maybe that's you mean? I don't know much about astronomy, but I'm interested here and there at times :-).
I wonder what a person's magnetic waves sound like
desolation?? i think has more to do with understanding , maybe desolation, depending on what do you mean with that.

so is this the actual recording untouched, aside from adjusting levels? im trying to find the purest recordings, i dont want anybody putting their own synths in it. do you know of any actual recordings/is this one? thanks
nasa got one, aand not for sale.
So, what does the Earth sound like from space?
This shit gives me anxiety, lol.
Sangy why the hell did you even hear it?
thos pictures, from above saturn, from the side?? how they get those images, ? if only a voyager 1 went there..
SPACE IS THE PLACE
try listening to Georgy Ligeti.
there is a certain similarity between his music and these sounds.
...do you feel it?
Cool
the angles witch the pictures appear gives me the impression the images are from a diferent source, because even with the telescopes, the angles dont match
i mean images. do they fly all the way there to take the pictures???
This sounds like the first few seconds of Planet Telex by Radiohead lol
Agree completely
By collecting & analysing samples.
I would hate to live here...If I heard this every night I'd probably wake up in sweat
how do they know what is inside saturn?
Now THIS is a cool comment.
These gassy planets sound similar, it's because they're really windy right?
I love how a person here dare pronounce the statement "This is actually fake" and end it with "I may be wrong"
Huh? Which is it? I thought you stated it was actual in your words, then you doubt your own statement. You obviously know very little about, or respect, The Universe.
How do people even find these sounds?
Peaceful passion?
Sounds like a Tie Fighter
why serious??/ yes, i mean , how on earth do they get those images?? the planets are way long distance,
is this your picture on the picture square? fabiness, is that in spanish , fabia.??
Reminds me of 2001 space odyssey or Alien
are these real pictures?

cool , thx for the awnser :)
Scientists can use instruments to pick up the electro magnetic waves a planet gives off, then convert it into sound.
***** do you read the discription ELECTRO magnetic waves. Waves can exist in vakuum. Just like Light.
See the first discussion item on my channel for a description of plasma waves, which propagate through the thin charged gasses that fill space.
so they are computer generated?
is it the sound of the wind on saturn? if no what is it?
It's the electromagnetic vibrations from Saturn(likely from it's rings), converted into sound.
Can you explain it please? I'm totally ignorant in physics, and i'd like to understand how you can convert electromagnetic into sound, air vibration?
sounds like 'hollow' wind.
well..ok.... how do you think they take photos of galaxies? do you think they go to another galaxy to take the photo? Hubble Telescope? other telescopes?
Yeah that´s me in the photo, and i speak spanish, i´m a latina.
sounds like aliens existed again
Aha ok, thanks!
What my mind is blown like how o
Trillions of golf balls hit by Chuck Norris make up Saturn's rings.

it was your mum...
Pat Butcher Wow...
Wot
that was hard
sounds like a tornado
10:00
Creepy...
so u from spain, i speak portuguese
Some of this is fake. Same noise heard in space movies.
Peace is a lie. There is only passion.
Sounds like a rocket engine.
if u can hear uranus then u can hear ur farts
Real funny.
haahahahahahahahaha
First i didn't get. But when i do. I drop my cereal bowl. :D
Vostrý...
are you serious?
whatever it is, I dont want it to be Nicki Minaj.
