      your not far from the truth there. these electro magnetic waves/sounds are actually influencing us and our perception of what we see as reality. these affects can be cancelled out by such frequencies and vibrations as the om chant that bhudist monks do. that's what gives them a clear though/vision and a bit of inner peace. you may even see the world differently if your persistant enough with it. :-)

    What could be more wonderful, eerie, and exciting to listen to than the sounds of a planet 764 times the volume of Earth, yet could float in a bathtub? I would happily take this kind of serenity.

    There are in fact electromagnetic waves that are not hearable to the human ear, but when converted into audible frequencies, you can hear them. There are many sounds in space that we can't naturally hear, but they are there in mistery, just like most things in space :-).

    Amazing, and so peaceful. Just to imagine, at this very moment.. we are so minuscule and unaware and so far away, deep inside the Universe. Even from our neighbors do they amaze us and make every single little nerve in our mind to flare up and create endless thinking possibilities that THIS, this very beast, out there AS WE SIT HERE RIGHT NOW... is doing this. It may not be alive, but this mystical world, as billions upon centrillions of others lurk in this mysterious Universe.

    The audio presented here is a product of "Brain/Mind Research". NASA has no involvement beyond making data publicly available. Unfortunately, the final result sounds essentially nothing like the original recordings, but is, admittedly, far more pleasant. I'd give you links to counter examples, but RUclips silently hides my comments when I do that.

    • @Space-Audio
      @Space-Audio 10 лет назад +2

      Miss Grisham It's only speculation, but I think the main feature remaining from the actual data may be the power supply noise, originally at 2.4kHz, but shifted down for dramatic effect. If they provided any information about the time or original file names or even which spacecraft, then I could provide the original plasma wave signals for contrast, which would sound nothing like this.

    • @Space-Audio
      @Space-Audio 10 лет назад +2

      Miss Grisham Here's a link to samples of the Voyager 2 Saturn plasma wave data: www-pw.physics.uiowa.edu/plasma-wave/voyager/data/VGPW_2001/EXTRAS/HTML/SATURN_ENCOUNTER/V2P2_140/V2P2_140.HTM *All* of the original Voyager waveform data are similarly available.

    • @TaiViinikka
      @TaiViinikka 10 лет назад +2

      Just to emphasize ***** 's point, the data sent back by the NASA space probes are all freely available; as an information product of the US government they are expected to be in the public domain.
      Which is awesome.

    How much money do you think Saturn makes doing all the soundtracks for all those movies? Must be a lot.

  • @Space-Audio
    @Space-Audio 11 лет назад

    Space is filled with a thin charged gas with a few to a few hundred particles per cc typically. Since the particles are charged, they can interact at a distance without colliding and various audible-frequency waves can propagate. A human cannot hear these, but the EM components of the waves are easily detected with antennas. But you're right, this example sounds nothing like the actual data. See my channel for authentic examples.

    I like it,.. BUT I did hear what sounded like symphonics, if the audio pretaining to the actual sounds recorded form saturn were tampered with during the editing of the film how are the viewers allowed to recognize this as substantial evidence? Unless we are to believe that harmonious behaviors of materials untouched by human activity can still create frequencies and sounds for Saturn's belt with particles constantly smashing into each other, but I don't hear any of that? why not?

      These recordings are, at best, a creative interpretation of the original Voyager plasma wave recordings. I'm rewarded with ghost bans for posting links, so finding the original Voyager PWS waveform data converted directly to audio files without any manipulation is left as an exercise to the reader.

    its not "sound" like your thinking, they used instruments to record radiation and energy coming off the planet and then converted that into sounds, so what your hearing is the "sound" of the radiation of the planet/object.

    How can Saturn have a sound , there is no air in space that means nothing can produce siounds there! Or am i wrong? ( its a serious question :) )
    or is this recorded ON saturn?

    • @Manybacky
      @Manybacky 10 лет назад +10

      "Although space is a virtual vacuum, this does not mean there is no sound in space. Sound does exist as electromagnetic vibrations. The specially designed instruments on board the various space probes used Plasma Wave antenna to record the vibrations used here, all within the range of human hearing (20-20,000 CPS)
      Each planet, moon and ring system has a distinctive "musical" pattern. Listening to this unusual recording has a mysteriously relaxing effect. After a long hard day, you can bring your brainwaves into a slower and meditative state.
