There are countless unusual celestial bodies scattered around the vast expanses of the universe. A combination of various factors has turned some of them into mysterious anomalies, exceptional even by space standards.
Some of these objects are amazing exoplanets, strikingly similar to Earth, while others have never seen sunlight or experienced heat. There are worlds torn by continuous sandstorms, while others are covered by a vast ocean whose bottom is made of blocks of glowing ice. At the same time, in the depths of multicoloured nebulae there are giant stars capable of swallowing whole planetary systems, and millions of light years away from them jellyfish galaxies cut through the expanses of space with their shining stellar tentacles.
And today, we invite you to join us on a fantastic journey to the most incredible ones.

If , as I personally suspect, life is extremely rare in the universe, and perhaps has developed in only a few spiral galaxies spread across the vastness of space, they will know as much as we do about alien life .
We very well could be the only sentient beings in the entire Milky Way...but that still could mean life is plentiful in the entire universe we see.
      Rare AND plentiful.

By looking exclusively for Earth-like planets, we are limiting our imagination to life being equal to what we experience here. I think that our two-hemisphered brains is one variation on the humanoid type. I further believe that as we evolved from land mammals, there could exist humanoid beings that evolve from sea, and air types of mortals. As far as atmospheres are concerned, I think our breathing could equally be manipulated to include thinner and thicker atmospheres. Basically, I think that life enjoys a terrifically bigger variance than the opening statements of this video allow.

    • @dandywaysofliving
      @dandywaysofliving 8 месяцев назад +1

      I'ma add to this.
      .
We exist from carbon, processing oxygen into carbon dioxide.
      .
      Plus more bits.
      .
Who's to say something can't develop processing carbon dioxide into oxygen to keep it simple.
      .
Include difference in gravity, atmospheric composition.
      Energy distribution.
      .
Plants are alive but not sentient.
      .
      ""
      .
We can say only the human/earth model produces life.
      .
But we forget what environment and elemental composition does to us as animals that can write.
      .
Just consider fish and people as the same thing but with different goals.
      .
Don't get stuck in only existing as human.
      .
Even in human terms we have Hawaiians and Eskimos
      .
      Russians and Europeans
      . Egyptians and India indians.
      .
      What is asian?
      What is African?
What is east vs West African?
      .
      So on topic*
      .
A system needs to collect energy, possibly heat, a source of conversion.
      .
      Lubricant and short term energy/storage.
      .
      When u think like that.
      .
Air or water beings don't seem impossible if u consider fish exist on this planet where we fail to reach the depths/Temperatures they casually live in.
      .
Not once did I refer to only 1 existence but instead said.
Maybe we can't see how others exist.
      .
Like how would a telescope be built if u eat whatever makes up glass?
      .
How would we make a dinner if we eat potatoes but telescope lenses seem similar.
      .
Idk if that was accurate but I'm done.
      .
I'd like to hear more knowledge people help me learn

A few years ago I was camping in an area close to Bigfoot territory in Ohio near Salt Fork State Park. It was late at night and I had a fire going and was sitting by it reading a book and drinking a beer. Around 11:00 p.m. I heard a strange rustling in the trees behind my tent. Then I heard low guttural growls. I stood up, turned around and as I did a huge hairy creature emerged from the woods not more that 25 feet from me. It stood 8 feet tall and had to weigh in excess of 450 pounds. I stood motionless not knowing what to do when the creature began dictating the narrative. It slowly lifted its right hand and pointed to the beer I was holding in my hand. I immediately realized the beast wanted a COLD beer. And why not? It was at least 85 degrees and so humid you could cut the air with a knife. I popped a brewsky and gave it to him and motioned for him to come sit by my fire.
He capitulated and as we sat by the fire I lit a cigarette. He instantaneously became agitated and started motioning to my mouth and then to his mouth. Damn, the Dude wanted a smoke. So I lit one for Bfoot and we continued socializing, drinking our beer and having a few smokes. Eventually Bfoot's eyelids began to droop. The beer was making him sleepy. He arose, waved goodbye and walked away, whistling as he disappeared into the woods.
I haven't encountered the creature again, but since then I never venture into the woods without my Bud Light and a carton of Marlboros. Hopefully I'll meet the Big Guy again with his wife and children. If so, I hope the kids are at least 21. No way I'm doing time for serving minors. I got a rep to protect.

I would suppose that one of the concerns governing whether a planet would sustain our life would be whether it already belongs to someone else. That's never stopped the human race in the past, though has it?

Whats crazy is that TIME stops in space & space EXPANDS at the speed of light.. If the closest CURRENT planet is at least 12 light years away then theres a chance that if you even make it further enough away YOU WONT MAKE IT BACK TO EARTH due to space pushing you out further than you are travelling back (unless theres a black hole to break the speed of light to guide you back to our solar system; & that is IF earth still even exists when you make it back)‼️🤯 wtf
Space is very intresting but yet too vast & f*cking crazy for us to really understand it in this lifetime. 😂

As I am watching one of your videos now. I wanted to express how many times my husband and I watch your videos at night before we go to sleep until your videos are watching us vs us watching it, because we would fall asleep to it. Lol that is not in a bad way..lol definitely good we love space and we love learning so much from your videos. Soo thank you for helping us go to sleep and educating us.😂😂😊😊

Ya knew what always bothered me was/is all these portrayals of goldielocks zones ignore the sterilization of any life even under ice of; Radiation. To be that close is like being closer to sun than mercury in radiation dosage.
