Love the mountsin views around Lake Chapala! Visiting the malecon of Ajijic is lovely too. But mt views are the best! Being in centro Ajijic is certainly a plus. Everything is within walking distance. And you do not have to cross the careterra nor walk the hills of upper Ajijic! You really do not need a car living in that location.
Beautiful, thank you! Just one suggestion- it’s difficult to imagine the lay-out (floor plan) as you jump from one angle to another or one room to another. Could you just show a simple sketch of each level as you go? Thanks so much!
Why only show expensive places?? Many nice place is way las expensive. I know I lived in chapala for 12 years. Is wery greedy of you. Not all people has that kind of money. Shoe some las expensive.
True, they do it for high commission. But there are way much cheaper properties for sale and they are not going to show those. Better to go and do your own search if you can, you will save tons of money
Nobody to be blamed but the Americans. They started paying big bucks for everything. Eventually it will not be affordable for the locals. Gentrification.
@@Teporame True to a degree, but gentrification happens in Los Angeles and other parts of America and the world. Canadians and other foreigners also flock to Mexico and Mexicans try to immigrate to America. Everyone's looking for a better life so I don't cast blame.
Go your self and do your own hunting and you will find really good prices still, I did that at Patzcuaro and got a house right at the historical square for 32K USD,, doing your own leg work will pay off.
I like your videos, and anticipate new ones, BUT why am I seeing this in Nov 2022?? There are too many OLD videos, can you sort or filter them after the sale, please??
What is with the pots with ficus trees appearing and disappearing outside the master bedroom door? Where you trying to hide something? At first I thought I was loosing my mind until I watched the video 3-4 times! lol Lovely home.
@@dvcam22 Thank you Chuy. I agree with you 100 percent. I'm guessing people are just not aware how Mexico has been developing in the past 20 years. I have personally seen some of the most world class breathtaking architecture. Really appreciate your comments! Cheers Rich
I'm a car guy and I would like a place to park at least six cars. I'm not so concerned about the house. And I also like to have a garden. So are there any places around Lake chapala that might come up for sale. I don't care if I'm in town or out a little bit.
Hi John I certainly have a look around for you. Fo you sending me an email at richgvarney@gmail.com so we can continue our conversation privately? Cheers Rich
Way cheaper to build that's what I'm doing, I have one house almost done in Moyotepec my mom's home town I rebuilt her old house. Another house in tijuana this one I started from the ground up and still in early stages.
Gringo prices!! How can the lot be 150 m/sq...and the construction sq/m be 305? There are only 2 finished levels.....3 floor is a patio. What's the true interior finished size?
Hi there, i am afraid it got sold about 6 months ago now. If you send me an email to rich@chapalarealtor.com i will send you some active listing on the market to chrck out. All the best Rich
I'm afraid the property sold a while back now. If you would like send me over an email to rich@chapalarealtors.com and I'll send you what we have, in comparison for sale at the moment in time. Cheers Rich
In the video, with the help of Pepe my friend and camera man, we have tried to up our game with the production. It is always a learning curve when trying new ways to present a home. I hope you enjoy the video...Cheers Rich
As an Ajijic native, I can't help but laugh at these foreigners buying these houses at rip-off prices. My wife and I live in a 3 bedroom home in Ajijic that we purchased for $50,000 usd.
I love the character of this home! Lovely 😍

I turned my chair when I saw the master bedroom... it is gorgeous!!!

Thanks so much Barbara. 😊👌
I LOVED THE CEILINGS AND THE TERRACE WITH THE MOUNTAIN VIEW
Thank you so much Teresa.
Nice video Rich. The price seems high to me.
I'd imagine there is always space to negotiate on price. 👌😊
Beautiful, beautiful 🇲🇽

Excellent job Pepe
Was considering Mexico but now looking at the Philippines. Much much cheaper!

Hello Pepe, you make Rich look too good!
😁👍

This is expensive for a home in Mexico. To put this in perspective the median price of a home in Chicago is $319,000
It all depends on the location. Cheers Rich

Not worth it for the asking price. Wayyyy to much for a house that requires a lot of remodeling and the furniture is not good.
Is it true there is a 10% purchase tax when you buy a home in Mexico. That would be over $30,000 on top of the sale price, am I correct on that?

It doesn't even have a garden? For 350,000? What a joke!
Nice property,no doubt

In Mexico we count everything under a roof as construction. The outside terrace area, the garage ect. Cheers Rich
hey rich is this place available or is this just to accumulate videos viewed points?

the houses are wonderful.....however, I don't see this as being an in-expensive place to live at $300,000+
Here in Ajijic, this is a regular price to pay for a property like this. Thanks for watching Dolly
People pay more for less in the US
You can’t even own property unless you are a Mexican citizen, can you?
Sarah Love as long as it’s inland from the ocean. Can’t remember the distance requirement.
@@Keep-on-ok You can now. The law changed years ago.
Es, muy caro y en dólares??????
Wow my favorite so far . Is there a hoa fee ? Love this home.
Pepe did a great job filming!
No Hoa fee. In the street. Cheers Rich
Suggestion-Start video from actual door as if we're walking in with you. This would help with the flow of the home... What's on left, right etc..
Thanks so much. 😁👌
They are so expensive I’ll rather buy one in lake taho ., much safer than there
can you even afford a house in lake tahoe????????
Becarful with the fire un Tahoe
This house should not be that expensive. The whole purpose in moving to Mexico is to save money. I think they are waiting for a fool to buy it.
Is this property still available
I'm afraid the property sold a while back now. If you would like send me over an email to rich@chapalarealtors.com and I'll send you what we have, in comparison for sale at the moment in time. Cheers Rich
How negotiable are these prices please?
You can negotiate on the listing price.😁👌
Thanks so much for watching!!! Let me know what you think of the property...Cheers
Rich
Very high price there is not land

That's definitely a whole lot more than you would get in the US for the same price.
Thanks for the connent. It is relative callous. It depends greatly to where you are buying anywhere in the world. Have a great day 😁👌

You are very lucky then😁👌

I wouldn’t consider 1999 as old for a Mexican home.
That was a slip if the tongue 🤣🤣. Meant to say not to old...cheers Rich
That’s stilling people
No thanks
This house is to spensive there should be more cheap
Too old and too expensive
Gorgeous!
