Thank y’all so very much!! This was very informative! I have been in car sales for about two years now Add a very small lot that is now starting to be rundown.and I’m getting ready to change to a much Larger more corporate dealership. The questions y’all had were absolutely amazing. Thank you!
I just got hired to a Chrysler dealer where they pay me 10dollars an hour to keep plus you get your front end Gross commision and bonuses, what you guys think of that pay plan? Theres no draw, you keep your hourly wage regardless
What if the store offers $2,000 salary guaranteed, then $100 per car. With bonus opportunities at certain number of cars sold like $500 every time you sell 7 cars, 12, 15, 20 and so on?
I haven't worked for one, but the pay plans I've have seen from people posting in groups have not been good. Definitely right now with such terrible inventory issues and a possible recession coming I wouldn't want to be at a volume store versus a commission store.
Sounds like a minimum wage or commission. No stores I have ever seen pay you a base the a commission above. The $2000 is your pay of you don’t sell enough to make more than $2000. I have never been a fan of a volume store, especially now, when inventory is terrible.
@@Hammy1TV From what they told me is no matter what you sale that $2000 is your guaranteed salary (they said they thought they were missing out on great sales people who were maybe afraid to take that leap of faith with commission) then $100 per car, plus bonuses every time you sale X number of cars
@@Hammy1TV They have a file that has about 70 people who have a deposit down waiting for a car with a bunch more who are ordering their car right now. Probably like 75 cars on lot right now.
Worked for a Lithia dealer for a while. It was actually a "DCH" store.but owmed ny Lithia. Decent company.

Best dealerships to work for are toyota dealships. Best brand and best customers
Love when dealers just keep hiring because once in a while a sunday will be understaffed.
