I am in awe, and truly awe inspired by your broad, expansive, and depth of knowledge, technique and skill. I say that because of my microscopic knowledge of tai chi and wing chun. Thank you for opening up and broadening my understanding.
Thank you ❤️🙏 But the truth is, my only real talent is my ability to find the very best teachers and put 100% focus to learn what they teach me. But my skill and knowledge are still barely below the surface. This is why those of us who choose to go on this journey are on it for a lifetime 😁
@@AipingTaiChi Absolutely 💯! Your comment about the 100% focus is one that I need to work on. The lifetime journey is the truth. I love it because it makes me a better person. I'm never satisfied, but simultaneously I'm not discouraged. Love, blessing, peace and prosperity to you and your family. Happy Holidays Sifu.
For those wishing to learn or improve this is the best video I've seen. Really beautiful, flowing and clear to follow and genius to have the back and mirror view! Thank you 🙏.
This is one of Daoyin exercises l would like to learn . Your gentle SLOW precise moves gives the observer a feeling of movement in stillness and stillness in movement - so really nicely done . Thank you .
Thank you so much 🙏❤️ I have lessons for this routine as part of my instructional videos available with Patreon membership at the Master Stressbender level: www.patreon.com/AipingTaiChi The first 5 days of every month I make these instructional videos free access for the public.
The general guide for inhaling and exhaling is when your chest opens you inhale and when your chest closes you exhale. There are some movements that open up and expand the chest. You inhale during those. I go over inhale and exhale in my classes and online videos. The next free access period is Aug 1-Aug 5. I have a lesson series on this set. You can check them out.
I wish to echo the other commenters who said the rear and mirror view was GREAT PRODUCTION CHOICE. It still would have been a nice video...but two views at once!! Bueno.
Yes, the cross back step can be modified. For the leg that crosses over the back and side, don't cross so much. Line up the knee into the crook of the front knee. Keep the back heel up off the floor. Click them into place like Legos. Then bend both knees. You won't go down much but you'll go down a little. Hope that helps!
Hope you enjoy this demonstration ☺ If you would like to learn the step by step instructions, we offer two ways to deliver our instructional videos. 1) Stream or download the Health Qigong 12-Step Dayoin Health Preservation online lessons: vimeo.com/ondemand/12stepdaoyin 2) Join our Patreon to access the Daoyin Health Preservation lessons as well as over 60+ hours of instructional videos on Tai Chi and Qigong lessons and other exclusive content. www.patreon.com/AipingTaiChi Or join us live in-person or online every Saturday 10:15AM EST: aipingtaichi.com :)
Thank you for the amazing video.. before I start practicing this I wanted to know how the breathing pattern be while doing this? Normal breathing or deep breaths or inhale -exhale during particular hand movements
Thank you 🙏 With these health qigong exercises, it's a general title rule of thumb that movements that expand chest open are inhales. Some of the movements have very long inhales and exhales but it will take a little while to relax into the movements enough to get the long breaths so just breath how you feel comfortable.
Thank you 🙏❤️ The music is commission by the Health Qigong Association and composed for each of their routines. They don't provide a name or composer and they don't exist as songs on their own because they are meant to be a part of the routine
@@AipingTaiChi Thank you so much 🙏🙏 Years ago, I bought the book incl. cd, but couldnt find any name of composer/musicians. Always nice to be able to credit the artist 😍
AVP tye are sitting on my head / / so they get the understanding / 9there nevere actually had, through me) cause I can see how it would work out physically
...no. I'm sorry this is daoyin not qigong. You perform this like qigong that is not the same. A lot of mistakes in the form, angles etc. It's basically missing the essentials. Why make a full video if people can see Zhang Guangde the creator of the form doing a much better performance. This does not add value.
I will certainly check my movements with the professors next time they come to the US for our Health Qigong instructors training and correct any mistakes. I learned the routine originally from Professor Xiaojun Wang when the routine was first introduced in the US. Here is Professor Wang's demonstration of the routine: ruclips.net/video/SRpPdjV0VXE/видео.htmlsi=kI10cxP-uAjikktz. I received additional training in the routine from Professor Aijun Niu when he came for US Health Qigong Instructors training. Professor Niu has differences in his movements than Professor Wang. My form takes what I like best from each of theirs. Of course I have much room for improvement. As for how wrong my movements are though, I can only really base that on my Duan exam scores which were given to me when I tested for the professors. I did score the top score for US Health Qigong instructors in 2019 and the professors gave me positive reviews. I would appreciate your evaluation of the areas that you think are wrong and I will make sure to review those specific areas with the professors next time I see them for training.
@AipingTaiChi I've learned by two direct students of Zhang Guangde. I know there are some people who started making variations on the form, probably with their own ideas behind it. That is why I see the difference. But with most of them i am missing the original flavour. Change is inevitably but in the case of daoyin i don't see added value by the people who changed the form on the contrary even. Some examples: turning at the Yuan source points of the wrist is different its missing the stretching to every single finger but with emphasis on index and thumb. The stretching at the san guan gates and mingmen is different and some postures are different. First movement: when you sink it should be shoulder->elbow->wrist. If the shoulder doesn't sink, qi doesn't either. Relax tiantu and Yun men. When the arm go down elbows should be bend and the arms and forearms sink to the height of the navel and also towards eachother . When you close your the legs back together in the end you are already raising...it should be first sinking until all yin is closed than bai hui lifts the body up. Etc etc. Zhangguande and his nephew zhangjian are super precise in their taijitu principles in the form. Check their shi er gong fa video and closely look at the details you will see every detail I just mentioned. The rest is up to you now.
