I like to think that somewhere out there, there’s a dad trying to understand what the story of Zelda is so they can connect with their kid, and they clicked on a video titled “Solving the Zelda timeline in 15 minutes”, completely unaware of what is to come

What I love about this video is that Brian said on MinnMax that he didn't have a script, he just did this because a higher-up at Vox Media told him to make a video on the Zelda Timeline and he tried to explain that it would suck but he had to do it anyway so he just went with every single piece of Zelda media and rambled for three hours in a studio with Clayton

I’m surprised he didn’t tie the property buying thing into Link’s house at Hateno in BOTW. It’s the first main game where link buys a house. He’s recovering his memory and decides real estate is one of the first things he should invest in before saving Zelda. This makes it a perfect sequel to Monopoly
Greetings from the future when Tears of the Kingdom has come out and there's a whole sidequest involving Link buying a plot of land and designing his own house to put on it.

My favourite part is right at the end where it cuts from him complaining about monopoly to the outdo where he's visibly out of breath, implying he spent a considerable amount of extra time ranting in frustration and we just didn't see it.

Of all the Unraveled installments, this is easily the most difficult to focus on. Not because of the length or amount of details, but just because Brian pulls off suits and the disheveled look way too well and keeps stripping the whole time.
After watching Brian’s interview at MinnMax, this video became way more fun and impressive knowing that it wasn’t scripted

I love that Link is just lazy in the Adult Timeline and not just missing because at the end of Ocarina of Time Zelda sent him back to his own timeline, creating two timelines where in one Link goes off to save Termina, and in the other a hero with the blood of the chosen knight is nowhere to be found, because Zelda Song of Time’d him out.

Note: the adult timeline isn't where link stays an adult after Ocarina of Time. It's actually the timeline link left behind. Ganon is sealed away, but the hero of time is gone because he went to the child timeline

love how we learned in an interview that this video was fueled mostly by spite.
Slight correction: The Adult Link timeline is not Link deciding to remain an adult. Child and Adult timelines happen simultaneously when Link defeats Ganon as an adult and then returns to his childhood timeline, leaving the Adult timeline to pick up the pieces of Ganon's rule without a hero.
In the child timeline he goes looking for Navi and stumbles into Termina (Majora's Mask) whereas in the adult timeline Ganon comes back and the people await the Hero of Time to save them again; only he doesn't because he doesn't exist anymore (since Link didn't claim the Master Sword and remained a child). This forced them to flood the world to seal Ganon which eventually leads to the ocean world of Wind Waker.
This is just a really complicated strip tease that makes you question what you’re doing with your life

My new theory about Unraveled, thanks to you pointing this out, is that BDG fell asleep wearing a suit and had several extremely elaborate fever dreams that we've just been watching on RUclips somehow, then woke up at the end of the last one.

10:19 Well, actually, there‘s an error in the very first minute as adult Link doesn’t "decide" to stay in the adult timeline but he rather gets sent back in time by Zelda forcibly while the timeline continues to exist, creating the child timeline in the process and explaining why Link wasn’t present when Ganon returned before Windwaker. Since Link isn’t around anymore in the adult timeline this invalidates titles like Mario Kart based on the presence of adult Link, at least in the way you explained it.

Idk, i like to think of the legend of zelda, as a legend, told over and over again, being a bit changed every time it is told, but always having similar setting and characters, but details vary.

Breath of the wild could be like a set point on time which can not be changed so all timelines eventually converge on to it but at different moments so the three Links never meet and destroy time and space itself

So, there's a misconception I can see. The adult timeline does not have link at all. At the end of Ocarina, Link goes back to the child era no matter what. The adult timeline is the timeline that continues on without link (as he is in the child timeline). That's why Ganondorf is able to come back to life.
