My honest opinion on the size of the NX... it's perfectly sufficient for my family of 3. I am 5'7, my husband is 6 feet and my son who sits in the back most often is 5'9 and athletic built. We are not small people. And my son has plenty of leg room. We never feel cramped. The vehicle is actually very comfortable inside. The cargo could be bigger, but it's plenty sufficient for multiple large suitcases, etc. No, you can't haul a bike, but I never do, so...
Excellent comparison video Justin. I did go and purchase the RX 350 two weeks ago. I love everything about it. BUT, I noticed a very annoying rattle in the dash area....even on very smooth pavement. It is currently in service to get that noise addressed (I am very leery on how they are gong to take care of that issue). The last thing I expected from a Lexus was any kind of rattle noise inside of its luxurious cabin. I have an NX 350 as a loaner car.......I do not like it. The ride is fairly rough, it is not as quiet inside like the RX and it feels cramped. I can't wait until I get my RX back.
Your comments absolutely reflect mine when comparing the RX and NX. I'm now on my second RX Luxury model, and have been given the NX as a service loaner a few times. I can understand the "N"imble comment for sure, but your comments are so spot-on: cramped, rough and not nearly as quiet. Loved my '17 RX Luxury, and now am absolutely enamored with my 5th gen RX Luxury. And no, the turbo 4 is not an issue at all in my lifestyle. In reference to your rattle concern, my '17 Mark Levinson door speakers rattled (left front door first, then right rear door). Fortunately the service department took care of the issue both times.

NX looks great but it should be bigger. It's based on the RAV 4 platform so to bad its interior is smaller in many areas, especially the cargo area. Also run flats suck. RAV4 has room for a spare so should the NX. Also like the RX but the base model should come with the 14" infotainment screen for the price this vehicle starts at. At least the RX 350/350H has a spare tire.

I own a 2019 RX350 and my wife purchased a 2024 NX450h+. I love both vehicle. Electronics of the NX is outstanding and the ICE smoothly transition when the electric runs out. My electrician installed a level 2 charger with an included long cable, able to charge the vehicle while it is outside. I am afraid of the lithium battery charging in my attached garage overnight, while I'm sleeping. I can't wait until the solid state battery equip vehicles becomes available. 700+ range and 10 minutes charging says the future have arrived.

I chose the NX only because I like the grill better than the RX. I saw the older RX previously had the same grill as the NX. I would’ve chosen the RX if it had the NX grill. I pick up my NX tomorrow 2 days before Christmas. So excited!!!

What’s interesting is that the NX is larger than the original RX. I bought a 2025 NX350h and my mom told me how she thought it should be bigger and how perfect the original RX was. She didn’t believe me when it old her that the old RX wasn’t any bigger. I had look up the specs and show it to her.
My daughter chose the RX350H for the luxury - - however, I chose the 2025 NX350H for the MPG. I’m presently getting 39-41 and loving it, whereas my daughter is averaging maybe 28-29. Needless to say, both are very nice cars, the MPG wins over any other features our cars have.
Do you think the RX would get significantly better gas mileage if you were driving it? Driving style makes a big difference. I would love to hear the results of your experiment.
How does headroom (with a sun/moonroof) for someone who is 6' 1" or 6'2" compare between the NX and RX? Is there enough front headroom in the NX? Or does one need an RX to get adequate space? And if there is enough headroom in an NX, does this come at the expense of putting the seat so low that one loses visibility over the top of the steering wheel? Thanks!
I just ordered an RX. My salesman sat in the front and back to show me how my tall family might fit. He for comfortably at 6’3” and the seat was not reclined

I bought a 2025 NX350h in July. I do wish it was a little bigger but I didn’t think it was worth the price increase to the RX. I also like that the hybrid doesn’t have a turbo.
Aesthetically the Nx is much more beautiful, the RX why does it no longer have the typical Lexus front? are they abandoning it in the new models? and the distinctive feature that has given character and made the brand famous in the world. before this design few people knew the Lexus brand. it's a shame they are taking a step backwards with the aesthetics

Why do you insist on showing us the F sport models of these vehicles? Most buyers will not be looking for that version. I know I won't. Talk to us about when Lexus might be installing their 5th generation hybrid system in either vehicle. It is such a big improvement over the 4 banger noise and unsophisticated sounds they make. Smooth and quiet is what we want!! I'm sorry but spending time on trivial details like body curve depths and front end facia are of far less concern to me. If I want something sporty I'm not going looking for something that has utility in its name SUV. Lexus has the RC and LC for those who want sport.
I currently have a Highlander hybrid platinum and if I were in the market for a new car I would be looking at both of these. My choice however would be the RX. I also prefer the bigger vehicles and I like the inside to be roomy. Thanks for the vid.
You didn't mention that the NX comes with run flat tires and so spare tire. I will never buy a SUV with run flats. Have run flat tires on my current car and the ride is horrible.
Rx is more luxury and drives better and more safer. Nx is small and good for small frame people. Interms of bucker seats etc. Cost of NX should be 40k+ at max as its Rav4 size. but people are buying at 60k. Mind you these are 4 cylinder. Why would you pay 60k for 4 cylinder. Lexus will not survive many days with these models. NX and new GX is what is keeping it going. Soon the math will change. The options from competetors are high. These 4 cylinder turbo cost more for repair down the lane. Buy a naturally aspirated engine with physical buttons in the car.
Hi Dustin. I just purchased an RX 350 Premium Plus two weeks ago. Within a couple of days I noticed an audible rattle coming somewhere in the dash area. I took the car back and they kept for 3 days (their technician rode with me and heard it). Today they called me and said they could no longer hear the rattle noise so come pick up your car. I went to pick up my car started to dive away and heard the rattle immediately. I turned back and said it is still making noise. I said I do not feel a brand new Lexus should have any rattle noises. They told me to just turn up the radio and you won’t hear it. Is this how you treat your Lexus customers with a new car? I left the car there for them to go through it with a fine youth comb. I’m also calling Lexus Corporate office Friday morning. I’m fully let down with Lexus. BTW, the dealership is Tustin Lexus in Tustin, CA. I’ve owned many new Hondas and Acuras over the last 30+ years. Not one of them ever had any squeaks or rattles in the cabin area. They all had very quiet interiors.

Service kept my car 3 more days and found the issue. There was something loose in the firewall and the front struts needed to be tightened. My car is now silent when I drive it. I’m loving it!

Thanks for showing.. But both are have the same problems .. Both too sporty.. Both have roofline too low. Both lack interior room. and both have poor outward visibility in all directions (this poor visibility hurts safe driving).. You say the Lexus RX 350 is a SUV??? SUV's have much more interior room and are bigger, taller vehicles.. Both of these NX and RX 350 are really just a hatchbacks..
I’ve had both and I have to say the NX F Sport is a much better drive than the RX 350, IMO. I’m currently in a 2022 NX F sport and it’s fully loaded. I recently went to look at the 2025 RX and the NX and I’m still leaning towards getting another NX. Not much of a price difference either.
Who’s idea it was to put that grill on the Rx ? They should have there ass removed for making that decision . What a way to screw up a car , and then you put the same engine on a bigger car so it has too strain itself more to pull the bigger car . I’m good give me the NX all day .

This car is a ripoff. Way over priced for what you get. Added dealer add ons are a waste of money. The Hyundai has all the options for $20k less and a far better warrantee. the hybrids use a naturally aspirated engine and get the power boost from the electric motor rather than from a turbo engine.
The RAV4 is already a $40k car. The days of RX V6 ended years ago. They’re all 4 cylinders now…

I’ve had both and I have to say the NX F Sport is a much better drive than the RX 350, IMO. I’m currently in a 2022 NX F sport and it’s fully loaded. I recently went to look at the 2025 RX and the NX and I’m still leaning towards getting another NX. Not much of a price difference either.
If only the RX had the front of the NX!!!!
Who’s idea it was to put that grill on the Rx ? They should have there ass removed for making that decision . What a way to screw up a car , and then you put the same engine on a bigger car so it has too strain itself more to pull the bigger car . I’m good give me the NX all day .
They have done away with the V6 in the RX😂😂😢that’s why they are pushing the Nx hello RX 😅is a lot better been driving ES RX for the last 20 years would like 6 dollars or 4 dollars

The front end of the nx looks better than the rx. The rx new design is ugly AF.
The new version RX look ugly. The NX look better. But, the NX too small. Hope the new version NX make same size like the Toyota RAV4.
The front waterfall grills are hideous.

This car is a ripoff. Way over priced for what you get. Added dealer add ons are a waste of money. The Hyundai has all the options for $20k less and a far better warrantee. You want a $250 tow package? It's a requirement for all Lexus new cars. Stupid. Of course that is my option as a disclaimer, so these nasty people won't sue me. Good luck. :) Dealer puppet.
I traded in a 2022 Hyundai. It was terrible and a warranty is only as good as the people who back it. They can keep that warranty.
Previously owned 5 Rav 4’s. Plus BMW, Mercedes and Porsche. The 2025, NX is my dream car. This car thinks for you and is the perfect size for one or two people.
Not buying any NX hybrid no warranty on the battery only on RX.

@@juliodimaggio maybe it’s country specific as it does not apply in my country it clearly indicates on the spec sheet.
They both have an 8 year warranty on the traction battery, but 10 years in California. (State mandate)

Additionally, lt the Daytime running lights on the NX flow nicer to the corners twd the gril! & has * tripple beam / bulbs! l Love the Gloss Black Spoke Mags on the NX..... Love the Blacked out Chrome on side windows. Although the RX is a bit larger feeling the NX has Much Nicer Sporty hugging Seats on the 450h+ F Sport and very sporty w/ CircutRed/ & Black inserts! I do like the RX rear Light However the NX looks very nice as well.......
