The Venom is the best accessory I’ve ever purchased for my Weber. Absolute game changer! I showed it to two buddies that use pellet grills and they were highly impressed. Phenomenal product.
What is that lighter and where can I get one?!? Just bought a Spider 22. I think I am going to buy a Venom as well. How hard would it be to swap back/forth between them? I guess I could always go buy a used kettle somewhere and have 2. 🙂
@@SpiderGrills Maybe a t-bone or a porterhouse?? Only reason I’m asking is because I have a gravity fed grill. It takes forever to get it up to temp for steaks. If the venom gets up to temp quickly, and I mean from lighting coal to cooking, I’d be sold.
I’ll probably just use a charcoal chimney to do really hot searing cooks. I’m more interested in making sure the internal components won’t melt if small hot coals fall into the ash cup. I’ve already ordered one so we’ll see pretty soon. Love my spider-22 and I fully expect to love this just as much if not more.

How many times did you have to put in charcoal?
Just the one time.
Would love to see a reverse sear video for a steak.
When the cook is finished, does the spider grill close the air vent and stop the remaining charcoal from burning so it can act like a pellet grill?
When the cook is finished, you can close the top vents and make sure the draft door is closed and you'll be able to preserve your charcoal!
@@SpiderGrills Awesome reply!
Can you use lump charcoal with it?
yep!
SHIP MINE ALREADY PLEASE!!!!!! I can't wait.
Can this be paired with the slow and sear?
The accessories: yes. But not the sns kettle.
You don’t taste the inside of the chicken. Beer is just wasted. Finish the beer put maybe water and broth. Don’t waste beer!!
Exactly. Beer can chicken is a myth.
Could you do a hot and fast cook video?
Yeah! What would you like to see?
