- How Heavy Can the Orange Micro Terror Get
Today, let's see just how heavy the Orange Micro Terror can get. This little amp packs a big punch with 20 watts of solid state power behind it while giving you creamy saturated tube sounds using a single 12AX7 tube in it's preamp. The Orange Micro Terror gives you the best of both worlds, the reliability and low maintenance of solid state, and the beautiful tones of the tube world. This beast can do it all, clean, distorted, and metal. It has a brighter mid friendly sound to it that gives you more of a JCM800 feel and sound to it. How heavy can the Orange Micro Terror get? Pretty Heavy, think late 80s heavy. Combine this with an OD and double track this beast and you have a very solid metal tone for almost any guitar heavy genre. - Видеоклипы
Let's crank this sucka!
I was sold at how heavy, subscribed
Awesome, I'm glad you're a fan of the heavy stuff!
that was metal af. subbed
I really appreciate your video. I've had this Lil unit for years, but as someone rooted in country, I just didn't really know how to get the most out of it! Thank you
Depends on what you mean by country. I mainly play cowpunk, for lack of a better term, where I pick hard and with a P90 bridge and I am in heaven with this amp through a 2X12 with an overdrive pushing it. But for country country, I prefer a clean Fender like amp.
Why did you buy it? Nothing about this says 'Country Music.'
nice lighting!
Thanks! I tried something new out with it this week.
HEeeaaVY!!...and on dropped tune, awesome little bastard.. 🤘mine goes on 1*12 cab celestion sidewinder..Loud also! 😁🖖
Nice little Halo 2 pop in there
I don't like Orange stuff but I know Mastodon loves the brand and I love their sound. As for the tubes some say there's barely any difference but once I bought Bugera 333 120W I fell in love with 6L6 (they're said to be Mesa tubes, are those the same tubes in your Mesa combo?).
The 6l6's are the same in my Mesa. Really dig those types of tube, they are very responsive! Love Mastodon, great stuff!
Tube amps are love
Okay sick amp but your improv style is sick
How is it with a pedalboard of pedals?
It Is decent however It does not have an effects loop, thats why id reccomend the micro dark instead
@@samael-doom I figured I would never use it as I don't use them now for my Marshalls and Fender Twin. I have come full circle in 40 years to all FX are in the front of the amp on a pedal board. It makes my setup and teardown at shows quick and uncomplicated. 🙂
I run the Micro Terror on a solid clean EQ setting with a POD HD500X multi-effects board for every tone from ambient cleans to sludgy drop tuned metal, works fantastic. No need for the effects loop the Micro Dark has that samael mentioned. Simple plug and play (give the tube like 5 seconds to warm up)
I only use compression and BOSS EQ, maybe a TC boost. Not a very sexy board, but these pedals bring out the balls and smoothness of the MT.
Yes, but you're running a pedal through it. That doesn't show how heavy the amplifier can get by itself at all.

Thank you!
I sure wish youtubers wold demo thee products instead of trying to show off so much, lets put our egos aside shall we
That's what turned me off about the guitar; electric guitar, anyway.
😂 they turned you off guitar ?
Well I guess the passion wasn't there in the first place@@DerpRulesAll!?
@@AuntAlnico4 You might be right, if it can irritate me that much.
Pretty sure that’s what he did was demo it. I saw enough, high gain, clean. Nice demo
