Oh my, sending you my heart felt condolences.... Could never imagine what immense pain you are feeling right now. This reminds me of one of my best friends, he passed away a few years ago, he was also a DJ :( :(
This song means more to me than I could admit. I glance over it usually but whenever I hear it at a rave I just instantly get hit by a very fond surge of nostalgia. Appreciate how it brings me back to my late teens when life wasn't as serious. Much love
Yeeeeeah, this was destined to be a classic before it was even finished. I bet HC had the biggest shit-eating grin on his face the first time he dropped this track.
I'm 62 and listen to this...years ago, in NYC, my oldest was a Underground DJ and I would have to take him to random spots so he could play...the kids thought I was a cop while waiting for him to finish mixing. (They'd be high or tripping on whatever) He was good too...
The lads on the evening shift at my local Tesco have a secret soundsystem for when the manager's gone home, they whacked this on tonight, 2021 still banging!!!
I remember hearing this for the time when covid just started and my anxiety was mad high but I happened to click on this song and it felt like it was lifting me into the clouds. Total euphoria
Love this so much takes me back to a rave in the woods, the spaced out feeling of a teenage love affair with recreational drugs and simply the best genre of music going.
+Benoit Heremans I wanted to go to innercity life first but I realised this track has much more meaning for me personally. RIP Diane, what an incredible loss for the scene. Her beautiful voice will be missed, but not forgotten. Condoles to her family and friends, may she rest in peace.
High contrast and Chase and status were a gift during my teen years, chase and status are IMO still the best producers in the world, best thing to come out of London
Ok maybe I overstated that slightly but in regards to breaking into mainstream without forgetting their roots, C&S are amazing. They can produce original drum and bass tracks that appeal to everyone, they don't need to remix Katy perry or Aloe Blacc, they are just technically and musically gifted. I'm not having a go here but it would be nice for you guys to list artists that you believe are better without simply shutting me down, and not having an opinion.
This is such a classic, I remember the exact moment when I first heard it. We were on the beach looking for a place to chill and we heard the piano bit coming from a bar and it just led us to this perfect place with great music and beautiful people. Felt like heaven... (except the clouds in this one were a bit different haha).
That vocal brings the nostalgia! I'm only 32, but this song makes me feel old. That 18 year old weed smoker in me who loved this song feels so far away right now..
In my opinion this is the best modern jungle after the og jungle from the 90's. Nothing made over the past 17 years has matched original jungle quite like high contrast back in 07
utter utter classic, first piece of drum and bass I ever fully listened to. This one song has hooked for life and I wouldn't trade anything in the world for all the experiences drum and bass has provided me with over the years
R.I.P Diane....when i found out..i had to have a moment and remembered all the amazing times ive had with my pals skankin around a rave like a madman to your vocals...theres to many to mention..a true gem and amazing artist who brought to me some of the best times in my life....will be sadly missed.. your legend will live on through your music...you will never be forgotton...thank you so much...my love honour and respect are with you always!!!!
start of this song "such spaceless, such timeless, such loveliness" excerpt from the movie The Network 1976. Classic cult film. High Contrast is genius for that.
Timeless classic. Everytime i listen to this tune it gives me goosebumps. High Contrast is my favorite producer. Hes like newschool Mozart, hes tunes are so deep on multiple levels. 💜👆🔥
Still to this day will stand by this track being one of the finest pieces of drum and bass ever made 👌🏼🔥 This ans q project ask not vip are the ones trust me
If there is a students music workbook or something like that, this song should be presented as one of the best dnb songs ever. I remember seeing High Contrast live in Roxy, Prague and it was really intense experience.
this is a song you hear the first time and you think “hmm that is a good song” and by just the the second time you’re singing the piano part and screaming “ooo if we get out of here”.
Everytime i hear this even till this day i get this mad crazy emotional felling allllllll over the body. This one forver bangs hard . As always 1❤ allll Junglist. Lets keep it stepping
2010 you will be missed, fucked up isn't it? how some of us heard this YEARS ago but when something this nostalgic comes on you find yourself re-living the good ol' days
Wicked tune, I remember like a year ago I was tryna explain this tune to my boy who had never heard it, saying how large it was, and then that same evening we mustve gone to a freeparty in the woods and this got dropped, I was so excited haha, I was like this is the banger I was tryna explain, everyone was loving it, largeup
Takes me back to being 18 in a random kitchen somewhere, off my head on pills trying to explain to people around me why this tune was so good instead of just letting them listen to it.
Normally when i listen to some dnb/dubstep tunes, i normally listen to them for like 2weeks and finally got enough of them . This song never got me enough of it, which is just incredible. I would say this song is by far one of the best tunes ever heard. Thank you hospital for bringing you the classic to us=)
played this at my lovely sons funeral... he was a drum n bass dj… love it xx
Suzanne Collins rest up his soul . This song fits perfectly!!
Oh my, sending you my heart felt condolences.... Could never imagine what immense pain you are feeling right now. This reminds me of one of my best friends, he passed away a few years ago, he was also a DJ :( :(
Feel so sad when i hear this my love to u
😖I feel for you x
Sorry for your loss Suzanne, we also played it at my best friends funeral. ... we both play DNB, he taught me to DJ. Stay strong and never lose hope.

I got hit with a massive wave of nostalgia almost made me cry. I hard relate to your comment
Reminds me of being 19, feeling naive, university halls and cannabis
In the legend of drum and bass . This is an absolute historic tune , significant , emotional .
Just major credits to high contrast .....

I guess you are latin@? Let me know please, sounds like your soul is full of history
Haha I wish I could smoke weed in front of the police without being in handcuffs😂
R.I.P DIane Charlemagne , heavy sound with this voice ! i hear this a lot of and still the best jungle tune
badbadxx lisaredsxx
thanks
It’s drum and bass, not jungle, it sounds like it tho
Fuck this doesn't come close to good jungle! This however is pretty good drum n bass bud
Yes xxx
RIP Diane - thank you for your voice in dnb
También vengo por Charlemagne
The lads on the evening shift at my local Tesco have a secret soundsystem for when the manager's gone home, they whacked this on tonight, 2021 still banging!!!
Imagine how popular Tesco would be with a working from home manager lol
Mate, that's exactly what we done at home base. Incredible stuff fella keep at it
wish our boss would do this at the tesco i work at but we just gotta wait till the shop closes to put our headphones in
This is about the coolest comment I've read on YT for a long time.
I'd shop at that supermarket!
That synth gives me shivers every time.
Wow... the nostalgia dude ❤❤❤
I only heard this today at work on the radio... WHAT IS THIS WIZARDRY!? THIS IS AMAZING!!
bro you been missing out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Missing out big time 😂
I remember hearing this for the time when covid just started and my anxiety was mad high but I happened to click on this song and it felt like it was lifting me into the clouds. Total euphoria
gives me goose bumps. i thought dnb was dead like 10 years ago, now im 36 and its getting more and more love again in my city Munich, great scene
I'd kill to get there, Venezuelan scene is ultra forgotten.
LOL DNB will never die bro!
dnb will never die. the new kids call it "breakcore" lol
I promise you 2019 Stuttgart was very much full of good DnB nights- just gotta look out for it . Stay blessed
There is something so magical about this song :)

+Benoit Heremans Yes, Diane, you actually did succeed in getting out of here.
(too soon?)
+Benoit Heremans It says this was posted two days before her death....... did you kill her?
+James Clarke saw it on fb and 2 days after the same message's
strange
Benoit Heremans she was then brought to the hospital and someone spread false news. Read Diane's tweets to understand it better
The anthem of Hospital Records
High contrast and Chase and status were a gift during my teen years, chase and status are IMO still the best producers in the world, best thing to come out of London
nah they're just not man so many better producers:/
shchbb96 Exactly like High Contrast :D
shchbb96 in terms of general PRODUCTION. They are definitely up there.
in terms of talent though - they are definitely down here sucking.

Clouds of either Charlie or Mandy I'm guessing 😂🔥
Could be Lucy too...
If we ever get out of here, so fitting at this time of our lives
this song gives me goosebumps, it is brilliantly composed
That vocal brings the nostalgia! I'm only 32, but this song makes me feel old. That 18 year old weed smoker in me who loved this song feels so far away right now..
Still as good today as it was back then. One of the top 50 Drum & Bass tracks of all time.
The greatest liquid drum and bass tune for me
