It's been so many years. In college, I lived in a dorm and there was a lot of partying, most of it dnb style, even though where I come from this genre wasn't that popular. I remember falling asleep every single night, slightly or heavily high, with my headphones on, rocking these sounds. 2008, 2009, now it's 2021 and listening to this makes me feel happy, at the same time it kind of hurts a little, you know? That nostalgia, experiences so simple yet so beautiful, today's absolutely beautiful but more complex reality somehow compares pretty bleak to all that. All the friends who are now gone, all the time ahead that is now past... I miss listening to High Contrast in 2008 so bad.

Probably one of the biggest reasons why I love dnb so much is because u go to festivals and such and djs drop songs that you don't know but love, then years later you discover the song and get and massive nostalgia trip. I don't think any other genre has that level to it
