    Kasey, remember you are directing the evolution of your own body. It will adapt to most any diet but you would need to be consistent. I've done many 40 day fasts and longest was 114 days, losing 91 pounds. You inspired me back then. I've become very experienced with yearly long fasts and found the best system for me, my own version of a popular juice fast. Respectfully, I believe you are breaking your fasts incorrectly. You would also be wise to not fast too long unless you have the excess fat to lose or serious healing crisis. Daily scraping of thick coated tongue is routine, and sure sign of ketosis. Fasting can be fun, its like you've found a secret and wish you could share it with everyone. There's no other way to get that clear mind and boundless energy. To understand what diet is best after fasting one would need a complex analysis of their own DNA and what's good for one person, may not be the best for someone else. Evolution can be directed but your zig zag diets keep slapping it in different directions. Love your content. Happily subscribed 🙂

      Could you please explain how a thick coated tongue relates to ketosis? Sounds more like a bacterial overgrowth to me. Like SIBO or Candida, caused by carbs.

    • @Lamz..
      @Lamz.. 2 года назад

      @@katashley1031 I didn't say it was from fat or carbs. It's from carbs only. ;) Bacteria feed on carbs, as do fungi and yeasts, never on fats. A low carb (keto/ carnivore) diet will fix this almost instantly.

      Well, you reccommend your clients wrong. And working with MD's disqualifies you even more. Ask them how many hours of their studies was dedicated to nutrition. It's next to none, my dear. They learn pharmaceutical protocols by heart, and drug names. My clients are good to go on theirselves after one or two consults, but clearly that's not what _you_ are after. Stop spouting nonsense please about low carb diets. You're either clueless or just blatantly lying. We need zero carbs in our diet. We ancestrally thrive on animal fats and proteins, and maybe some fruits during the summer. Anyone with white tongue reading this: eat low carb for a week, and see what happens. It's _that_ easy.

    • @willmaxwell5413
      @willmaxwell5413 2 года назад +2

      @@Lamz.. I've read this first in Stanley Burroughs book, regarding the coated tongue. After fasting for 2 or 3 days, it really is like a switch is flipped. Hunger disappears and your tongue becomes heavily coated with a white, almost fur like appearance. This is a sign of ketosis , explained in his book. I can verify that this really happens, and appears to be your body simply finally having a chance to rid itself of whatever buildup thats in your system. The clear mind and absence of mind chatter is the result of your body and brain switching over to ketones instead of carbs/sugar. It's a remarkable feeling and state to be in. Over time, the tongue returns to natural pink state, but the length of time depends on each person, and is a sign that fasting is done, and natural hunger returns.

    I dunno. Animals eat supplemented food. Our fruits and veggies are lacking in minerals and such, that's why animals get sick and diseased if their farm grown foods aren't also supplemented. There's no real scientific reason we need animal foods, but there are for many vitamins and minerals that are missing in almost almost all commercially farmed foods.
    Which is why they supplement farm animal diets. Farm animals do not have health insurance.

    The footage of the chickadee and other birds flying towards the hand was cool! Also, I've never seen a black squirrel before.
    Look for a place that has direct access to outside so you can have a garden- even if you have to grow out of containers (so you won't need to rely on grocery stores for all your food). You could still grow tomatoes, cucumbers, berries, herbs, green onions and greens/lettuce.

      Most of the grey squirrels in Canada are black. Probably because of all the deep forest. There are pockets in Virginia, Washington DC, and even New York City where black squirrels were introduced and still thrive.

      There ain't no black squirrels in the south. They like to live up north for some reason. Maybe 'cause the south is racist.

      In Canada the common neighborhood squirrels are grey or black also the odd brown or beige ones.

    very subjective, I have both Vegan and veg friends they are fine, I tried veg and was always hungry.....

    • @romvesenet7627

      For me I was more hungry the first 1½ month. Then normal hunge after that to now. Also, depends on what you consume on a vegan diet.. you gotta make sure you get all your nutrients, same with all diets of lifestyles if you want to call it that. Can be a unhealthy vegan and meat eather so yeah. And yeah remember.. the human body is physically herbivore. But it depends on what belief system you believe in also. If you are are 100% believe youre a meat eater, then you will require meat in your diet. Also think about the animals, morals, ethics and enviornment. Not just the "health aspect". You can be sustained from all the natural things that grow upon this planet. So its most about your belief system to sum it up, or what you think? For me im convinced humans are herbivores, so it works for me. Why not? You dont really look like an lion do you now? You dont behave like one either, or any type of meat eater? You look more like a sheep or cow...... or chimpanzee or gorilla if you like😎💪💪💪💪

    I'm here from camera conspiracies, lol. Love your stuff.
    I'm trying keto and the weirdest effect of having cut carbs almost completely is a massive reduction of environmental allergies. If I have a lax day and eat too many carbs, I'll get a runny nose, congestion and sneezing the next day. Get back on track and symptoms subside.

    It makes absolutely no sense to reduce veganism to a diet, but you clearly keep doing so for click bait titles.

    • @Lamz..
      @Lamz.. 2 года назад +1

      So what's your definition of veganism?

    • @StillTrustNo1
      @StillTrustNo1 2 года назад +1

      @@vegetablepolice There is no such thing as a "vegan diet" that's the whole point. There is only such a thing as a 100% plant based diet and a vegan position on the treatment of animals.
      And no you're not just explaining, you're diluting the term veganism by using it wrong and if you were doing the same to a term describing a position against racism or sexism I would hope that people spoke against it like I do when you do the same to a position against speciesism.

    • @StillTrustNo1
      @StillTrustNo1 2 года назад

      @@Lamz.. Doing your absolut best to reduce the well being reduction you cause to animals.

    • @vegetablepolice
      @vegetablepolice  2 года назад +1

      @@StillTrustNo1 I know what veganism is. The most important thing vegans do to be vegan is not EAT MEAT. Hence, the diet portion of the vegan definition makes the most difference.
      Of course there are additional principles like not wearing fur which contribute to an overall goal of not harming or exploiting animals, but not a lot of people wear fur. There's more to veganism than just diet, but that's the biggest change one can make in their lives to become vegan. No one said there wasn't more to veganism than just diet.

    You kind of remind me of high carb hannah's husband. The skin similarities. He has trouble with his skin too. Witch hazel with a cotton pad over the problematic areas. Yeah I had some eczema too. the doctor saying what it was made me relax more. A little lotion and it went away. I thought it was the tide; I can't use it. Seemed more like my nerves or histamine levels.
    I'm surprised a juice fast made you turn from veganism. Not enough juice apparently. The Gerson therapy says 8 oz of juice every hour for 13 hours....for 2 years....as a cancer therapy. I'm thinking 128 oz or more plus water. Funny how some people get so angry when people turn away from vegan. I just want to bring someone back to it like a religion.
