I'm actually studying and learning to be a professional actor, and someday, I would love to be holding one of those beautiful statues! It'll obviously take a lot of hard work and dedication, and will leave little room for slacking off, but I think if I work towards it with everything I've got, I can do it.

They should make more than one color for the winners
This may be out of line, but I hope the organizers of Oscars 2018 will consider putting the category title or name (i.e. Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, etc.) on the card inside the envelope for the sake of the award presenter(s) and to avoid a repeat of the La La Land gaffe.

The editing and music is really cringe.
I've held a real Oscar and it's nothing special. Just a glorified paperweight. And, I've come to the conclusion that it really isn't about being able to have an Oscar in your trophy case. It's all about what it does for your career, what it's supposed to do for your reputation as a film craftsman. If it doesn't improve the quality of jobs you're getting, it's really worthless.
