@@KB-zx5bm Then why did they have so much against those who mixed with races that were very different from their own? They liked viltrumite-human hybrids because of their potential, but most of the other types of hybrids were frowned upon.
@@Charismaniac they wanted to keep their race pure at first, but because their numbers were so low from the culling & scourge virus, they sent people out to find a planet to breed with to increase their population. That's why Nolan was on Earth. He had Mark to see if breeding with humans would work.

My issue with this is that Oliver didn’t get revived. Eve basically has a plot device for an ability and mark/Eve gets revived. But not Oliver, who only got a donut. But Mark(I get it he’s the main char, but still) who got ripped in half, VERTICALLY, was still hanging on?
It was explained in the comic that too much time had passed between when Oliver was already killed and when Mark and Eve were left for dead. Mark was still barely alive along with eve. Her maxpowers only work when theyre still a couple seconds from death or a couple seconds past death.
Oliver was not as clise by as you would think. Mark got lucky that eve was right next to him when her mental block was removed. She cant choose to do it whenever she wants…
@@johannsanne5281 I get that Vilttumites are DIFFICULT to put down, but THAT?! Nah, this no explanation for that. I would believe it if their injuries was flipped, but no way that attack ain’t kill mark in 2 seconds. Thragg and daughter was there long enough for mark to dab up Jesus.

Because based on Viltrumite phsyiology, they are able to process a single molecule of oxygen way more efficiently than a human body can thus the body is able to survive longer and harsher periods of harm which is why Viltrumites live for so long. The cells just process everything easily so they can survive longer. It was explained in one of the books that Robert Kirkman wrote. Thats why Conquest didnt die when mark smashed his head in, why Nolan survived his previous battle injuries and why mark survived after getting his guts cut open by conquest. Smart atoms or something like that id have to look thru my invincible collectionto find the viltrumite physiology. Got all the single issues. The second reason would be because plot armor lolol.

Violence must be the last resort but never be a prohibited one. Mark and his moral code had taken far more lives and caused far more damage than good by his moral code and talk-nu Jutsu.
A hero who isn't ready to accept that his cowardice and morals might turn an entire planet into rubble is a far greater threat than the villain in the long run.

That's true. Sometimes the heroes are the true villains for allowing such rampant death. But you can't kill the Joker or Dr.Ock...you'd run out of characters.
You know if the mental block was gone she could easily just dissolve or reshape the viltrimite attackers and render them to nothing but molecules… she’s honestly one of the most dangerous characters if she would be.

Superhero raising kids is like asking for trouble. (No child asks for this) Especially, given the fact that enemies know your identity. Why not have a low-key family member raise your kid in secret, that way your enemy can't use your kids or family against you. It's for the protection of you & your child. This is why Superman stayed so underneath the radar- The Kents.
I don't know many who love the world so much for them to name their daughter after them. Haven't read all of the comics yet so I really want to read and find out was it that or was it more of a love metaphor like "you're my whole world" type of metaphor
Hopefully they change olivers death in the show i dont think anyone would be mad
even if it just makes him further away from eve when her failsafe powers kick in, so that Oliver being unrevived doesn't seem as contrived would be good. She fixed Mark from far worse wounds. Eve is hard to write around at the best of times, but this scene didn't help establish any kind of measurable limit on her powers.

Why does Eve have a prosthetic leg when she can just use her powers to give herself a new one? That's not even close to the best of her healing feats either so it should be doable without her being on death's bed.
iirc there's some rule in her powers she can't manipulate living things, afaik her only healing ability is her self revive

I like how Mark survived splitting in half but oliver died just by one punch
Oliver dies because thragg punches him in the heart and destroys it. this is basically confirmed when he fatally wounds omniman in the final battle against him a few issues after this one

In her origin story, it's said that she had some kind of microchip implanted into her brain to block her from using the full extent of her powers.

@@JCSTYLEZ I don't necessarily want them to kill Invincible, but the repetitive use of near-death situations is becoming tiresome. From Battle Beast to Omni-Man to Conquest, it's getting old. I believe the writers could have handled this situation in a more creative way instead of this
