1:35 I love how Anissa is just looming over the city in this shot. She could decimate the planet without a second thought and there's not much anybody could do to stop her. It's almost... Intoxicating how powerful she is 🤤
and since she moves faster than Nolan she could decimate the entire planet faster too, she could literally speed blitz the earth and turn it into an apocalyptic wasteland.
I like how they animate the hair in the wind. It’s both graceful and menacing. Plus, even when their bodies are static, seeing the flowing wind grounds their presence in the scene more. Too many times superhero animations and SFX neglect to show us wind when someone is FLYING IN THE AIR. Homelander for example in the boys, I get that his hair is gelled back, but for a guy flying at super sonic speeds, his hair is always in place. Super man the animated series too, has Superman’s hair remaining static and in place as he flies through the air.
as someone who avoids reading the comic and experiences the story through this anime for the first time, this was such an intense moment. I love when the intensity grows in a scene whenever a viltrumite enters frame, and this one was peak.
I think what she meant is they don’t just kill indiscriminately for pleasure, however it’s not like they don’t still enjoy it but pleasure isn’t the sole purpose
The way that Mark talks to Anissa is similar to how his father talked to him. Honestly, for all the Viltrumite's ruthlessness, they seem convinced what they are doing is right. And quite frankly, Anissa makes a lot of good points, we are indeed causing our own regression and it's cause of creed, we are destroying ourselves. Meh, die now or after 200 years what's the difference
The crack in his voice was cheffs kiss
I really was scared for Amber here (even though she was poorly written in season 1) and Zazie Beetz deserves some accolade for her VA in this episode for really convinced she was fearing for her life and she doesn't deserve that
0:41
Mark: “What do you want?”
Anissa: *”I wants you.”*
“And I loves ya, Mark”
“Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way the choice is yours”
She's got a point though. Unpopular opinion, but I 100% agree with her.
2:26 Anissa's speech is the truth
I hate her but she right 😔
Fr humans can be self destructive
I agree but because she's the villain. They say she's evil
Amber: Shockingly, there are some situations you can't punch your way out of.
Anissa: She's right, you know.
I like how threatening Anissa is
1:35 I love how Anissa is just looming over the city in this shot.
@@siphosethumbaba7559She isnt faster than omni man.
@@siphosethumbaba7559 Shes faster than what they have on record for nolan, but they have no idea how fast he really is.
Living in the world of Invincible must really suck
Homelander: this girl is Feisty, I like that in a woman
Mark: I need something to punch
Anissa: the unstoppable punching bag
I like how they animate the hair in the wind. It’s both graceful and menacing. Plus, even when their bodies are static, seeing the flowing wind grounds their presence in the scene more.
Too many times superhero animations and SFX neglect to show us wind when someone is FLYING IN THE AIR.
Homelander for example in the boys, I get that his hair is gelled back, but for a guy flying at super sonic speeds, his hair is always in place. Super man the animated series too, has Superman’s hair remaining static and in place as he flies through the air.
2:20 if you can replay this and compare this to real life anissa is actually saying something
Anissa reminds me of Rhea ripley mami😍😍
Rex is dom😂
Anissa when she is calm is scarier than Omni Man when he is upset.
Because you know that shes not just making an idle threat, she could wave her hand and every human there would be dead.
I would much rather fight against anissa, more than an angry omni man.
She came in like a straight gangster.
It's impressive how calm everyone else is to some woman that just floated down and threatened to murder someone
3:03 she is telling the truth
3:13 Something about that line and head turn is evil A.I levels of unnerving
Oh no......
Now she here!!!!
😱
Bro's name is invincible and yet is always the punching bag💀💀💀
Don't worry he gets stronger
I loved hearing Wraith's voice in this show.
Run Mark run
More like Run and Hide Mark
Mark's death by snu snu😂
This is pre-bad luck/black & blue suit until he gets his costume…things are going to be *NUTS*
literally gonna be nuts
I wish Anissa had met Cecil. I wonder how their interaction would have played out
STRANGER DANGER! STRANGER DANGER!
"Oh no She's hot!"
as someone who avoids reading the comic and experiences the story through this anime for the first time, this was such an intense moment. I love when the intensity grows in a scene whenever a viltrumite enters frame, and this one was peak.
“Viltrumites do not kill for pleasure…even though some of them take pleasure in killing…”
I mean way to contradict yourself right away
Viltrumites as a whole don't but there are some that do enjoy partaking in a casual murder or two.
She is simply saying, pleasure isn’t the goal in killing but merely a side effect.
You’re simple
@@Kokangalang Still an explicit example of hypocrisy.
I think what she meant is they don’t just kill indiscriminately for pleasure, however it’s not like they don’t still enjoy it but pleasure isn’t the sole purpose
Tfw you realize Anissa is voiced by the same woman who plays Becca Butcher in The Boys
2:52 When Anissa says Viltrumites have the technology to repair Earth's climate, I would have happily accepted her offer.
Cause you’re a fool. They’ll do that through forceful conversion.
At the cost of probably half the human population, psycho. Viltrumites kill those who they consider weak. And you'd be one of them.
If you think about it, you're left to wonder for all their ruthless behavior, the Viltrumites do point out the flaws of our world and yes, they need to be adressed.
4:19 Anissa realizing that she has to convince Mark The Viltrumite way:
"Lucky Me" 😏😏
"Friendly" - in that she didn't immediately try to kill Mark or demand his surrender. But for Viltrums from the Empire, that's practically warm.
3:53 [bleep]😂😂😂
The only time Mark enjoyed too much but can't express 😂
