All Americans who are 65 years old in America 🇺🇸, they have one thing to look forward or not realizing that our destination is the nursing home. Those who passed before entering the nursing home are the lucky one. Seeing Paul busting with laugh is real and you can’t fake that. Laughter make life feel better and gives you long life 👍🙏❤️
My Grandpa lived to 100 and played golf until 95. He ate very clean, exercise daily, never drank. Going to Philippines won't fix your problems. The life expectancy there is barely over 70.
Yep. We’re heading over and retire in a few months. Agree 100% about the nursing home destination. It’s a slow painful death. I could elaborate however I’m ready for a major change and live. MABUHAY!
I am definitely one of the 3 people still watching at the end. So funny just sitting around shooting the crap and laughing. Thank you for inviting me for your wacky coffee hour.
The positivity of Doug is truly inspiring. Meeting Old Dog Paul is actually on my bucket list 😂 Humor, mannerisms, hours of entertainment painfully waiting for my retirement 😂. I semi-retired in the Dominican Republic for a few years but the Phillipines as a home base to SE Asia seems like a great life!
Thank you Paul for "controlling " your interviews. Your timing is *PERFECT when it comes time to stop one person from rambling, to give the next person a chance to talk. *BRILLIANT 🫡
OLD DOG does it again. 100% agree on Angeles - it is not for everyone,. If you aren't a pimp, or a trick, stay away. Great Content, I always stay to the end. The world is a crazy place. The Phils is no different. But if you want fried chicken and gravy - it is easy to find here. May the gravy flow like water!
I agree with your guess, you have to pull the trigger and make a decision. I retired at age 64. I live in New York City and own a condo in the Philippines. I visited the Philippines 4 times for three at a time for vacations from 2008-2019. I finally decided to retire in the Philippines and arrived in November 2022. It didn’t work out for me. But I’m glad I got out of my comfort zone and tried it. I got sick twice in the Philippines and I could not find food that was healthy for me. So I moved back to NYC. With no regrets. Guys you have to check out a few places in the Philippines for a few months in whatever town you choose. Don’t sell all your belongings until you are in the Philippines for 6 months to a year. Then decide when you have a good idea if you can cope with the life and culture of the Philippines. All the best to you all.
Absolutely do a 6 month plus trial run living as a retiree not as a tourist after you have had several vacations here first. It may be costly doing this, but your happiness health and retirement savings comes first.
This vid is a fun to watch. I'm a Filipino whining about a lot of things going on here but you guys got me to rethink my life outlook and perspective about contentment. I think need to seriously appreciate life's countless blessings.

Congratulations on another great video. I have watched many of your videos. Thank you for making them. This one was a turning point for me. I have been considering moving to the Philippines for a couple of years, partially because of you. Today's video convinced me that I don't need to do that. Listening to you three guys over a cup of coffee let me see that I don't need to move there to enjoy the Philippines and the camaraderie. I lived there for three years, so I remember the dogs, roosters, jeepneys, potholes, typhoons, begging children, and beautiful women and scenery. I now live in the San Diego area, the weather is about 72 degrees year round, traffic is not a bother, everyone speaks English, I have an efficiency apartment that costs me only $800 per month, I am within walking distance of everything I usually buy such as food, gas, clothing, etc. I can drive to Las Vegas in 5 hours, or the Grand Canyon in 6. There's even a good Filipino restaurant in Encinitas. I had lumpia there yesterday. Bottom line: I love the Philippines, and I love your videos and the Philippine people. Please keep up the good work. It's almost like being there. I am reminded of all the beauty and good the Philippines has to offer, without enduring the annoyances.
