I consider myself an incredibly lucky man. I came to the Philippines simply to live a peaceful life on my own terms. One of the first expats I got to know was Goldfinger by leasing a Honda from him. We basically took an immediate liking to each other, and I consider him and Carolyn family now. I also am slowly getting to know Paul, who I have shared (too many) smokes together. I have an appointment this wednesday for a follow up to my cataract surgery done a few years ago , a bit problematic and YES done in USA.. Paul and Goldfinger. You two are funny together, (like Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin). Hope and will be praying that both of you stay healthy and any opperations go very well for y'all!! The health insurance is something that I would be looking into, if I decided to stay in the Philippines. If anything, I would be asking you seasoned expats everything I would need to know, to live there and keep my nose clean from problems some expats get themselves into!! Great job on the video Paul, and God Bless Goldfinger and his fiance for their charitable works. ( Like you and Baby Mae). 😊
Classroom tablets! Why? Structured learning, multiple kids from multiple grades are served by each tablet. For the kiddie laptops, make them available for checkout at the local library. Have one or two of them at the library so the kids can try it out and see if they like it. This way, the kiddy laptops don't end up buried under clothes in someone's closet. That said, very impressive work Goldfinger! Perhaps the teacher is serving as system admin, adding login IDs for students so everyone can keep their materials on the laptop. If the laptops are numbered that will allow the students to have access to their own files. Another option is to attach a USB drive to the Wi-Fi router, but that would have to be administered carefully to prevent one student from deleting other student files.
Unfortunately, there are no public libraries here. The laptops are numbered as well as the places where they are set on the table as you will see on November 6th The school does have an I T instructor and will probably save each child's information and work under separate files ❤

Nice video Paul an goldfinger. Paul won't what you were supposed to do with the interesting gadgets lol 😆 hope you're other procedure goes well with a speedy recovery.
I think the class room is the better option. More structured and less likely to be lost, broken, put on a shelf and forgotten. Not to mention can easily be changed as the kids learn more.

Canadians would have gone to emergency at the hospital and it would have been dealt with. And yes it’s not free, we pay through our taxes but we don’t pay at the point of service (the hospital or doctor’s office) and we don’t go bankrupt because of medical bills…..
I think a classroom version would be best for tablets. Better environment for teaching kids how to use them, better 'reward' for kids to help with classroom motivation. (bribe)
Insurance for expats is largely a scam. He got maybe 100 bucks back for this. Probably a lot less than what he spent maintaining the coverage. If you get stung for a really big bill then they'll send a crack team of lawyers and investigators in to find the smallest of fine prints clauses to deny you coverage and leave you high and dry. They don't make money by giving away money.
I am still here in the USA retired and no insurance of any kind so I will go till I drop and hope I go quick. Your friend gold finger really needs to take better care of himself and lose weight or his problems will be much worse than a fall. Assuming he wants to live. Like the old saying, the bigger you are the harder you fall. Great that he helps the kids. Take care Paul.
For me, having insurance is not for them to cover all of the expenses. I just don't want to be screwed for the insane prices given to people who pay cash for the services. The thing that insurance does well is negotiate prices to something that is almost reasonable for the service provided. It should not cost $541, for a blood draw(not the blood test), and the insurance company has that at $8. So by having the insurance with the deductible, I am going to pay that $8 for the blood draw, $12 for CBC, $9 for cholesterol etc instead of the cash price of $2500. Having the insurance is a necessity in the US.
Should have also added in my comment, boy do i have numerous actual events i had been involved with. You would go into grocery stores and find stacks of cases of rice with gift of the united states not to be sold!! And they they were being sold. You have to keep control . Also you know things wont be maintained so even those not sold will generally have an operational life of maybe a couple weeks.
The wait for a specialist in Canada is real talk. However you can and will get faster service depending on how serious the need. Hospitals can be frustrating for waiting "hours" to be seen but the same priority basis applies. Really the biggest drawback to the Canadian system is the family doctor and routine stuff. Because there's a shortage of Doctors getting a family Doctor can be tough in some areas and you're forced to use walk-in clinics until you do, and making an appointment with your family practitioners can result in waiting for weeks because their patient lists are so long.
So many Canadians come to South Florida to have medical procedures during the 6 months they are here. Mon elective procedures in Canada like hip replacement and knee surgery you must wait in line for months. Here you're in surgery in 2-6 weeks depending on the blood work and chest X-rays you need. I get mine done the next day after seeing my primary doctor. The one question I ask Canadians about is do they have USA insurance. The answer is usually yes.
Goldfinger I think the school thing is better. Because the ones for young children may have a problem because when they take them home a lot of them don’t have electricity and therefore no way to charge them. Just a thought. Paul glad you’re doing well
Hi Paul 🙋 Talk about the crazy people ( Gold Finger ) Hee Hee 😂 AKA Feather Duster 🪶🪶 To funny... Thanks for sharing. 1st Classroom / 2nd preschool comp.❤
Great video guys. Should be a monthly video of Paul & Goldfinger. Keep tablets in classroom for all the kids every year. Should work best for all the kids in the school. Finally, blood Clouts that are stuck in the vessels, can cause balance issues gradually over time. Check with your Doctor about DVT ( Deep Vein Teumbosis).
If you see your brother in need and shut up your bowels of compassion how dwelleth the love of GOD in you? Goldfinger uzes with love and compassion for others as one of GODS chosen children should. ❤️🇮🇱❤️🕊❤️⛪️❤️🙏❤️❤️ you can not out give GOD
Great video, It's really good to see you two back at it. As far as Goldfinger's project, I would support the classroom project over the individual tablet. I think more students will be positively affected by the classroom tablet tablet and keyboard. I have reservations about giving electronics to little, little kids. Despite the educational value, I think kids should be kids, outside and playing. And there is always the potential that they can be misused, I know you mentioned parental controls and all that. The classroom project has more staying power and can help more children. Anyway just mt 2 cent
Paul you look great. You are ore in charge of not smoking. I watch all of your ideas and when you were to il to post l felt like a 67 year old orphan.😅😊
Paul u have thick blood because you was a smoker. One thing that helps that my natural doc said for people with thick blood is to donate blood. Every 3 months ! When you donate blood its actually good for you think of it like a oil change on a car doc told me. You produce new blood. After covid i got on testosterone and my blood got thick so they told me to donate ! Helps
B12, vitamin d3 up the daily dosage , multivitamin. Take those vitamins. My blood test says my vitamin level is fine, but I'm dizzy as he'll. Old retired 80 year olds told me to start upping my vitamin intake. Problem solved.
Great Job, guys! Yes, I feel great since the election results came in. Funny thing is that it's not really a hot topic on the day to day conversations. However, where I do business, I think they voted for Harris. I can't wait to get to the Philippines......
Well, choosing a project. Hmm, I hesitate to speculate, but, I would enhance the school effort first. Maybe get a few schools under your belt and canvass the opinions of the new entrants teachers about the efficacy of tablets in the home for pre-schoolers. If I was focused on preschoolers, I cannot get past my love of books and the printed word, it's such a good habit to instill - reading books I mean. Products worth anything run the risk of being a cash asset if troubled times come to roost, and I think we all know the Philippines has more troubles coming home than many places :) Apart from that, wow, Paul and Goldfinger at it again
My vote would be to do both the pre-school tablets and the computer stuff. Other than that, this was a funny one. Sorry that we missed you this go around while in Duma. We're off to Siquijor tomorrow and couldn't find a scooter place that had two to rent to us...strangely enough. Maybe it is because of that festival that was going on over the weekend but everyone seemed to be rented out where we checked.....oh well.
Wow fiance already,WTF might be a future crazy story. Hope not goldmines seems like a nice guy helps with the community but what's the hurry to fall head over heals over a girl already
Hi Paul!....Canada's health care takes good care of us.Yes..there is a shortage of doctors. In the case of emergency....the hospital takes very good care of us...immediate in a serious situation. If it's not really serious you have to wait to be seen...from 1 hour to 3-4-5 hours. Getting a doctor appointment can be a problem..this varies depending on situation. We do have Nurse Practitioners and this helps. Sounds like Goldfinger got good treatment with acceptable fee.Paul...hope you're feeling better. Praying for you my friend.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
You need to wear your shades as part of your recovery process Old Dog. That being said, you look like you are in the witness protection program (j/k). Best wishes to you and BM.

That sounds like pretty good insurance for $90/month.
It's excellent 👌
Great video guys. Should be a monthly video of Paul & Goldfinger.
Keep tablets in classroom for all the kids every year. Should work best for all the kids in the school.
Finally, blood Clouts that are stuck in the vessels, can cause balance issues gradually over time. Check with your Doctor about DVT ( Deep Vein Teumbosis).
Thanks for your Earnest reply❤
That guy looks like the Cookie Monster
Actually don't like desserts but I do love food obviously😂
If you see your brother in need and shut up your bowels of compassion how dwelleth the love of GOD in you? Goldfinger uzes with love and compassion for others as one of GODS chosen children should. ❤️🇮🇱❤️🕊❤️⛪️❤️🙏❤️❤️ you can not out give GOD

Well thank you Efran for watching
Great video, It's really good to see you two back at it. As far as Goldfinger's project, I would support the classroom project over the individual tablet. I think more students will be positively affected by the classroom tablet tablet and keyboard. I have reservations about giving electronics to little, little kids. Despite the educational value, I think kids should be kids, outside and playing. And there is always the potential that they can be misused, I know you mentioned parental controls and all that. The classroom project has more staying power and can help more children. Anyway just mt 2 cent
Good point about kids being kids and physically playing outside 👍💯🙏
I think the preschool tablet will help most.
Got it , thks ❤
I would be glad to purchase some of the tablets that I could give out in the Valencia area.
Paul you look great. You are ore in charge of not smoking. I watch all of your ideas and when you were to il to post l felt like a 67 year old orphan.😅😊
Too cool you do read the comments.
1st ,glad you are ok bud
We thank you very much😊
Maybe open library or learning center where kids can use the laptops there and also can get interaction with each other and help each other
They do not have public libraries here. They do have private schools and public schools.
Paul do you take anything for your vertigo? l hope you can respond thx.
I don't, they have never been able to prescribe anything
Great Job, guys! Yes, I feel great since the election results came in. Funny thing is that it's not really a hot topic on the day to day conversations. However, where I do business, I think they voted for Harris. I can't wait to get to the Philippines......
great people doing great things
Thanks Charlie ❤

Thanks for your input
And thanks for watching ❤
Abbot and Costello 😂
My vote would be to do both the pre-school tablets and the computer stuff. Other than that, this was a funny one. Sorry that we missed you this go around while in Duma. We're off to Siquijor tomorrow and couldn't find a scooter place that had two to rent to us...strangely enough. Maybe it is because of that festival that was going on over the weekend but everyone seemed to be rented out where we checked.....oh well.
Should have contacted me
My fiance has several to rent

Thank you Alfred
Fun stuff
Yeah goldfinger
You need to wear your shades as part of your recovery process Old Dog. That being said, you look like you are in the witness protection program (j/k). Best wishes to you and BM.
