I've always understood that there is only one Darkseid in the DC multiverse. But this comic really made me wonder something I never thought about before. This is a Superman from the Injustice universe. So when he went to Darkseid, did Darkseid know which Superman it was? Because I just imagine Darkseid thinking, "Which Superman are you and what did I do to piss off this universe's Superman?"

Actually there is a lot of inconsistency. First thing I don't understand is how did superman get there? Apokolips lies outside the multiverse. There is no way superman can even travel from one multiverse to other on his own.
There is also a theory that the darkseid that we see is not his true form but his mere inferior reflections. The real darkseid is so strong that he can make the entire multiverse collapse. I just don't see how can he be afraid of superman or why superman is not afraid of him.

Sharath Nair It’s extremely inconsistent, I agree. There is only one Apokalips and only one New Genesis in the entirety of DC. So why would the Darkseid that heroes meet on Apokolips be an avatar of Darkseid as opposed to the real him. And when he and Highfather were fighting across the universe, was Highfather just fighting an avatar? And if so, why doesn’t he just send multiple avatars? Really dumb imo.

How does Aquaman beat Poseidon? That doesn't make any sense at all ... how does an Atlantian, regardless of his affinity with water, beat the Greek deity of the SEA's, not just water but 3/4 of the Earth itself. How? If Aquaman is in the water and is in his element, then Poseidon is also more than in his element, he is in his home; period.
Also, more of a side note, in actual Greek mythology, Zeus is 'king', yes, but Poseidon and Hades are just as powerful, if not more so, if Zeus didn't have his master bolt.
He didnt though. Aquaman and wife werent strong enough. Arthur DID however catch Poseidon off guard with how mighty he is.
In Zack Snyder's cut Aries was able to kill darkseid or beat darkseid in a fight is that even possible? Are the old gods really that powerful?

Its called Comics and Comic Creators imagination they may be Actual Greek Gods in Mythology but in the Comic DC universe the God's are as much comic Characters as the rest of DC so if Aquaman wants to pull a trick or miracle out of his butt and defeat a Water God and thats ok with the Writers of these comics then so be it, first its only a Comic so Chill and Second ima Defend my Boiii Arthur let him kick the crap out of a God lol
theres no excuse for Marvel not having the gods more flushed out, theres literally pre-existing lore from greek mythology that already lays out Poseidon's powers and they kinda did nothing with him.

WORRIOR -17 let me remind you that superman is apparently according to this story capable of killing doomsday who even allfather has trouble beating. These pills give people the strength and durability to fight superman almost equally. Also superman killed hercules so Its safe to assume hes capable of killing ares abd that wasnt just an empty threat at the end. Now just imagine a crazy unpredictable acrobatic superman (with only his strength and durability) fighting alongside an amazon vs just ares. These pills are op as shit and so is superman in this story im not saying that it isn't ridiculous that she can beat him but with those pills it shouldnt be too shocking. Also they really didnt beat him they more just faught him and managed to steal his motherbox then accidentally teleported to apocolypse to escape
You're also not factoring in her unpredictability. How often in history have incredibly well trained soldiers been defeated because of underestimating their opponents or because the opponents did something they never expected?
Harley is almost Deadpool levels of unpredictable as we've seen throughout this comic. She's not inept like the 90's cartoon would lead you to believe.
WELL I BELIEVE that a God of war should NEVER be defeated by her regardless of what pill she took, the pill is to fight SUPERMAN! Superman cant even take out WW in this story. look Lets just agree that in DC Comics. Ares is nerfed a hell of a lot. Harleys a good fighter but shes not even that high in DC best H2H and here she is beating up a GOD OF WAR....(did I mention hes a God of War?)
The confrontation between superman and superman and Zeus was amazing. However he cannot ever hope to defeat Zeus, it is safe to argue that superman would never be able to defeat darkseid; the only reason their fights last it is because of story. Superman is very powerful, but in the end he is just an alien juiced up by a yellow sun's radiation. Zeus and Darkseid and Highfather are gods. There is just no context.
Pedro Jorge Costa Baptista De Barros Gods who can die , bleed etc etc. Anti monitor isn't a "god" but he's bitched Darkseid and the multiverse. Supes has beaten Darkseid to the source Wall. Where millions of "gods" were banished and can not escape.

They both were stalemated until darkseid called the black racer whom he uses as a weapon n also tortures as well. Gods don’t get banish to the source wall they go there when they die also Superman was sun dip when he trapped that darkseid avatar n after a struggle anyway. Darkseid at his best vs Superman at his best means Superman is just a ant to him.

I always thought of Superman as one of the strongest yet most punch-able heroes since he is always holding back and getting beat up. But this...this comic made him turn into a "No nonsense havin'" badass.

Poseidon IS the Ocean. He is not King of the Ocean.
Just like Hades IS hell, and Zeus IS the sky. That's why in Greek myths, adventure into the seas are often referred as adventure to Poseidon. Poseidon is the PERSONIFICATION of the ocean.
That apparently is not the case in DC...

You're on the right track, but woefully wrong.
Poseidon is god of the Mediterranean seas. He is NOT the med, he controls it. For a personification of the oceans, thats the Titan Oceanus.
Hades is NOT hell. Neither the god or the underworld are hell. Hades is the name for the underworld AND a god, but they are not quite the same. Remember the underworld contains the Elysium Fields and Tartarus, and Tartarus predates the god Hades by a LONG way.
Zeus is NOT the sky. Zeus is god of the shining sky, just like Astraeus is the Titan god of the starry sky. For a personification of sky/heaven, thats Uranus.

Nowadays when an Injustice video pops up I'm waiting for Rob to say that it is the best thing coming out of DC Rebirth. I know that Injustice is not a part of DC Rebirth, but he says it so much that it is inevitable.

I swear, at times it seems like this Superman was given Silver Age Superman's powers. Like going toe-to-toe with Darkseid and intimidating him, but being only an annoyance to Zeus.
