Back in 2017 I moved to a new town for a job and I didn't know a soul. I wanted to get caught up on comic book so I looked for a channel and Comics Explained was the first I tried. I have been a huge fan since then and I don't go a day without checking for your content. Listening to your content helped me through a very isolated and lonely part of my life. What you do is much more than just talk about comics, and I hope all the great things in life happen to you. Thank you Rob.
I knew it was Gor the second he called gods "all the same". In the comics Gor is a show-stopper. He killed hundreds of gods and kept stacking power till he rewrote reality and made a new god killing bomb.
I love this channel- I'm not much of a comics guy, and even less the superhero genre of comics, but the enthusiasm and perspective here is contagious. It actually makes me want to pick up a few titles to try.

Jean Grey Phoenix is just amazing because her emotions is what makes her the beautiful and powerful. Seem like all the fight she gonna take. SHE DOES NOT WANT TO BEAT THEM, BUT TO SAVE THEM. She believes everyone has a story❤ that’s beautiful
I hope the Justice League gets more Stories like that because that's what you do with characters who are that powerful: they save everyone, they fix problems, and they turn Tragedies into Triumphs.
Been telling you to cover this. Phoenix series have been great so far. I like the slow story building. Instead of Jean just erasing or creating everything, she is actually trying be a hero rather than a God. They are definitely building up to something of a great payoff.
This channel got me into reading Marvel comics. I scroll and try to see every day if there's new content to watch with my morning coffee. Happy to see you keep doing what you love, Rob! ✨
Wow, this breakdown was absolutely epic! The introduction of Paricus and the level of power he's bringing to the table is crazy, especially with his dark god status. I loved how Jean Grey's internal struggle with the Phoenix Force is being portrayed-it's like a ticking time bomb! And that cliffhanger with Gorr the God Butcher? Insane! Can't wait to see how the Phoenix will handle that fight, especially with the stakes so high. Thanks for keeping us hyped with these detailed comic updates!
Rob dropping real wisdom is always dope! So many comics shows online seem like they're run by folks who only read wikis and have never actually picked up a book, this man however might as well have a doctorate in comics philosophy! Thank you!!!
I absolutely love Gorr The God Butcher! Gorr The God Butcher is one of the best villains ever!!! I love that Marvel is bringing him back and keeping him relevant where he kills the Phenox and up there with other Gods like Thor and all other gods in Marvel and that they are not throwing him away as a one time villain who had his moment and he is not fodder that will always be defeated. I love that he is still strong and relevant, and that he could possibly be the only one to defeat Knull and Meridius and King in Black Eddie Brock and Dylan Brock, and maybe even King in Crimson Carnage. Gorr is definitely up there. I hope that they keep Gorr around and keep him like this as a strong and relevant threat that kills Gods and I'd not thrown away or made into fodder, because he is one of the best villains of all time.
Perikiss, as you said when arriving on this planet and saying 'you have pain', reminded me of Star Trek Undiscovered Country, where Sybok )Spock brother) 'frees' these beings from their pains. Lol
I like it. Jean is human and makes human "mistakes" because of her empathy and her limited, mortal worldview. IF you take that away from her though, she immediately becomes a God of Fire with no care for consequence and a fundamentally dehumanizing worldview. They're really talking about what it means to be a God.
Gotta love listening to Rob while doing my mundane life things. Lovely soothing voice PLUS getting to hear him get excited at the best parts of a comic book equals pure brain bliss for me!

I do believe that the Phenox is up there with the Beyonder and other strong beings, but until Marvel actually shows the Phenox taking on a few beyonders or all of them, then I won't consider the Phenox as "The strongest being in existence."
@@louie576 Defenders Beyond already pretty much settled any argument as to where Phoenix/Jean falls in the Marvel heirarchy. No one is above her except the creator, The One Above All. Yeah, you have covered a lot of stuff Rob. The Annihilators couldn't even have a book...they were too strong. I knew it was Gorr but it looks like he's going to get ran through. So the All-Black can separate, being with Gorr and Knull at the same time? Huh...
Cool video Rob!!! Thanks. Could you cover Simone's X-Men and maybe even Mackay's Uncanny please? I want to know what's going on in those titles. Take care and peace everyone.
It’s even crazier that Jean manhandles the Black Order because in Avengers/New Avengers during the incursions, they killed dozens and dozens of entire worlds of different heroes, some who don’t even exist normally across the multiverse just for fun
I love that Rob doesn't actually read the Comic to us. He tells us the story of the Comic. Like a great orator passing down stories to the younger generations. His channel needs to he preserved on the Internet somehow in the way dinosaur bones and old art are preserved in museums.
I'm still confused how Gorr is here? I thought the point where he traveled to the future happened already? Meaning he shouldn't exist in the present. Am I wrong? Did Marvel just bring him back despite the fact it makes no sense again? Or is Gorr beyond time now like Eddie who can time travel sort of.
