It's a trip how BAD the 1992 Seahawks offense was, and they had running backs Chris Warren, John L. Williams (a serious runner and pass catcher), and old ass but still effective Reuben Mayes, receivers Brian Blades, Tommy Kane, and the decent Robb Thomas. But when you have an overwhelmed second year QB in Dan McGwire and serviceable vets in Kelly Stouffer and Stan Gelbaugh, the 1992 season offense is what you get.
Not a good day for the McGwire family as Dan gets roughed up here and his more famous brother Mark goes 0 for 4 in game 4 of the ALCS against Toronto and the A's fall into a 3 games to 1 hole in the series
Second game of the season that TV coverage was switched to another game bc the Cowboys game was a blowout. The first time was week 2 vs Giants. Switched early in the 3rd qtr at 34-0 though the Giants made it 34-28. In this game coverage switched at 5 min left in 3rd qtr when Dallas got a deflection - interception - short run back for a TD to make it 27-0 which was the final.
1:21:55--Another nail in the Seahawks' coffin: Dan McGwire getting sacked and breaking his hip. He was out for the season. As much as I enjoyed this win by the Cowboys, I felt bad for Seattle at that moment.
Parcells was wrong right before halftime when he said "it's not where his foot is, it's where the ball was". False. On punt coverage if you touch the goalline while trying to keep the ball out it's a touchback.
@DoubleStar92 I don’t have that game. Performed a search on youtube to see if someone else posted it. The entire game wasn’t posted there either. Only highlights. Chances are the game is blocked.
if not for a strong defense with Cortez Kennedy and Eugene Robinson the Seahawks would have been an 0-16 easily and worse than the 2008 Lions or 2017 Browns
You know how there are college football games every year ---- Alabama taking on Austin Peay (or the like)? And Alabama wins 56-3? This is about as close as an NFL game can get to that. The 1992 Cowboys were incredible, the 1992 Seahawks were historically awful at offense.
People forget Marv Albert also did NFL on NBC as well the NBA on NBC. The Goat.
Marv Albert did since 1979.
The clarity is excellent thanks Jaime !

Remember when the Seahawks were an AFC team?
Seems an eternity ago...
Remember when the cardinals were in the NFC East 3 decades ago
@@Supbros1902Oh, yes.
My Saints had some very inept offenses in 1970 and 1975 but Seahawks out did them in 1992
As a cowboys fan we were the number 1 team and the Seahawks were the worst team that year and so the number 1 teams vs the number 1 worst team in 1992

as a great cowboys fan we absolute demolished the seahawks in 1992

Don’t know if you’ll see this Jaime but any chance you have the Packers cowboys playoff from 1993?

Hi Jamie, do you have a Week 7 NFL 1992 - Raiders at Seahawks ???
if not for a strong defense with Cortez Kennedy and Eugene Robinson the Seahawks would have been an 0-16 easily and worse than the 2008 Lions or 2017 Browns
My Saints gad some very inept offenses in the 70's but these Seahawks out did them this year

The Seahawks defense was one of the best that year. They only won two games because the offense was trash.
Pick an adjective to describe the 1992 Seahawks offense
None because they had no offense
Putrid
Anemic
Godawful
