One thing I'd like to point out in the Imperial upgrade building of choice, it seems obvious and automatic to go with the food building as opposed to war elephant because in order to increase the production to 1 minute 20 seconds (for a free Tower Elephant) you need 4 population... whereas you get 700~ food from the other at max tech. I can then take that 700 food and make a War Elephant in 30 seconds with only 1 scholar inside a Stable. And when I don't need Elephants, I have 700 food. It seems like an obvious choice to me. Thank you for taking the time outline the faction. It was very helpful.
These lads are my absolute favorite faction. Hard to endure early, but they have the tools to make it done. But damn are they scary from the Castle Age and beyond.
I think palace of the sultan is also the instant pick. If you are making elephants for free that would save you more food than you spend. Not to mention by that point you will have enough farms for passive food income.
Looking forward to your Chinese civ guide, they seem to be in a tough spot right now. Delhi is definitely my fave faction right now though, I feel the resource saving research gives a lot of flexibility if you can get your mosque network up and running.
I played as deli in my first skirmish tried every faction except france and HRE. Only got the game for 4 days so far Deli is my favorite. Mongols are fun too.
Dehli: Strengths - delicious sandwiches, nice pulled pork, good beef, great pickles. Weaknesses - sanitary debuffs if you do not invest in cleaning units, long lines, people only know about Katz's Deli.
Would not happen. Tokugawa shogunate happened late 17th century. AoE4 is about 11th century. It would rather be heian period. This was the "founding" period of the samurai. I think Total War: Shogun 2 - Rise of the samurai covered this period.
Why most historical RTS games about Christian/Europe, Islam/Middle-eastern and Sinosphere/China and Japan, why no Jews, Israel need to be famous too, jews architecture, knigth, medieval to ww2 history.

Palace of the Sultan elephants are actually gunpowder types..... super powerful
Love the videos. Could you please do one on gather rates for different food sources and any civ-specific variations, e.g., English farms.

Bruh don't spread the news that it's OP, let them in the dark
Thank you mate. Great video!
While melee attacking structures, the elephants melee damage type becomes as "(siege)."
Also with the Hisar Academy you can drop some vills for more military space
Very good video
Please do Chinese next! ❤️
I hope they release a Tokugawa Shogunate civ
