Techno Panda probably has touched both. We decided to go with the MSI, because it was $50 cheaper, it has an aluminum chassis and it is slightly smaller. The red accents are definitely not as attractive at the Lenovo. MSI seems to run really well, played Elder Scrolls Online for hours with no issues.
Some corrections, there are 3 USB 3.1 ports, not 2. Also the CPU and GPU can get quite hot when gaming, when running purely synthetic benchmarks your temps may stay in the upper 60s and 70s (Celsius) but once you start playing a demanding game you'll notice your GPU can hit the upper 70s while the CPU can hit around 85 to 90C. I'd recommend using Throttlestop to undervolt your CPU and MSI Afterburner for undervolting your GPU, this can help reduce your temps greatly while maintaining the same performance level.
I bought the GF 63 9SCX, it-s the same as this one but it doesn't has the backlight keyboard and comes with a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD instead of a 512 GB one.

ok so this video was amazing the only thing that's keeping me from buying it now is that he said it ran at 65 degrees Celsius which if im not wrong is like 150 degrees fahrenheit which is fixable with external laptop cooling fans but holy shiiiiz 8:30
65C is way below spec that's like idle temps lol. You can run a cpu 20 degrees hotter than that for extended use and they're fine. 85C is not very nice to do to your pc and 90C is when you worry. Also, you can undervolt a laptop cpu by -0.150v and reduce heat by like 10-15%

@King Stop motion Works perfectly fine. I can run Fortnite on ultra settings and get a solid 45 frames. recommended laptop for not too heavy specification games like Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox. I tried running Warzone but the 8GB of ram couldn't run it. for games like Warzone and Apex Legends I'd reckon to get another 8GB of ram. overall great laptop life but lackluster battery life. You can game as long as you want. Just make sure that your laptop is not overheating by ensuring that its sitting on a solid surface and all air-vents are not blocked.

99% of the time, mixing RAM from different brands does not create any issues. You may run into problems if you overclock RAM, but that's not even possible in a laptop.

A 120hz screen is always a nice plus but not in this laptop, reason being a 1650 will never be able to push 120hz in games anyways. Like u mentioned the Avg FPS in ur "Round 5" , Everything is going to generally be in the 40FPS-80FPS , depending on games. If this laptop came with a gtx 2060 , then the 120hz will be a nice touch.

You can install 2.5 inch HDD in SATA3 slot. I would recommend using an external HDD because of ease of installation
