I was actually shocked by the ANC when I was lawn mowing yesterday. Couldn't even hear that it was running while listening to music at a medium/low level. Way better than my Buds FE, Buds Pro, and Pixel Buds Pro.
Another small thing about the buds is the indicator light on the case acts as a battery indicator. Over 70 its green, less than 70 is yellow, less than 30 is red. And when you open the case it gives you the bud's battery life. Small additions like these make me wonder why Apple hasn't done it despite being the key player in mainstreaming the stem design.
I've always preferred this stem/blade design. So much more comfortable than the round design. Just wish the Buds3 Pro had true multi-point support. Even cheap earbuds have that these days.

And your title is right on the money they absolutely took inspiration from the AirPods Pro and they did exactly what Apple has been doing for years. Samsung pulled an Apple on Apple and nailed across every product from the book 4 edge to the ring. It’s the first year I brought all products at launch.
I use these in the gym. So far: 1) They stay in my ears better than Airpods Pro 2. 2) They sound amazing (especially with bass boosted in EQ). 3) They have good battery life. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I could crank the bass way up in the EQ settings without causing audible distortion. Great for bass heads like me! With other buds, I've had to just reduce the highs and keep the bass at 0 in order to boost bass without distortion.
Cool... thanks for the excellent overview. I ordered soon after launch, but am still waiting on them since Samsung delayed manufaturing a bit. Now I'm really looking forward to getting these. Thanks again!
I have a pair and except with some problems getting my left ear to seal completely they are excellent. Sound is exceptional, coming from the Buds 2. I especially like the adaptive transparency setting and comfort is fine. Battery life is less than advertised but easy to deal with. Impressive!
I used all 3 of the previous gen; Buds2, Pro, and Live. I didn't have pairing issues. Once they're in my ear, it looks for my phone and done. I'm not sure why you had to long press yours. But out all 3, which did I like most? Well...none and all. The sound quality was best on the Pro and best noise canceling for me. The Buds2 has the best battery life, and with fewest controls that makes it simple to use. But the Live had the best fit for me. Now I'm gonna keep an eye out for one of these beauties on auction. I scored all 3 of mine that way and have saved anywhere from $50 to $100 (Canadian$) for brand new, just busted packaging.
I recently bought the Fold 6, a Samsung Refrigerator and the Samsung Ring... just waiting on all the rewards to finalize so I can get these buds almost free. 👍
My only issue is it's near impossible to do a Bluetooth button reset if you've put the case inside Samsung's protective case shell (the accessory cover they gave for free with the purchase of the pro earbuds). There isn't a hole to reach the button, and with the protective shell glues to the case lid making it a pain to remove.
I use the voice commands to control the volume, next and previous track, play - stop, and to reject or answer the phone. Never have to touch the stems.
Ok...help me out here. You are running with the Buds 3 Pro and you try and grab the stems or your phone in your fanny pack?!! Why don't you just say volume up or volume down, pause, next track, previous track...the Buds understand and will obey...no hands needed!!

Had my buds 3 pro s8nce day one, and they're just AMAZING. The sound the fit is just amazing. Samsung always hits it out of the park 💪🏾💪🏾

You have to try ! For me in the wearables app, it says only Spotify. I use Tidal. Maybe with an update later on.
