I am totally hooked with this song. I downloaded the guitar codes and almost every day, I listened to it and practice the guitar. Unfortunately, no one tells us the meanings of the lyrics word by word. ...Five years have passed. I just got back from Hawaii to attend my daughter's wedding ceremony! During the lunch time there were Hawaiian guitalists singing.. Sunddenly I heard they were singging in Hawaii language. So, I quickly searched Le ho'oheno lyrics,,,then I asked the guys if I could sing with them for the attraction. I enjoyed so much for this opportunity. I need to brush up my voice and guitar...

You should look up songs by Kahau'anu Lake Trio. He was left handed as well, and played his 'ukulele upside down, but tuned the same way as a regular 'uke, thereby the strumming and sounds were different but so pleasing.
