K.O.G.S....😂.. I'm adding that to my acronym..😂s. Saludos from Chapala. Another great video. Ensenada was on my recon list a few years ago. Glad I landed here.
Ensenada sounds really nice, especially the weather. Weird to see the brick homes, lol, that would not be something that I would want. It's nice that Ensenada isn't very touristy, sorry that your meal wasn't up to par. Keep the videos coming!
@@cindyk3076 The weather was nice! 😀 It’s good that you know that you don’t want a brick house. It was strange to see houses with pitched roofs! Thanks for watching! 😎
The primary reason food is more expensive in Baja overall is because most of the products are imported from the mainland. The other reason is because of its proximity to the border and wages are higher. I have about 35 years of experience in Ensenada. If you avoid the areas close to the ocean you can find affordable housing from about $400 dollars a month and up.
I lived in San Diego for 2 years, Ensenada for one full summer (June-October), Lakeside one summer and Guadalaraja one summer. I would say Ensenada is great in June/July but it gets humid in August/September and even in October. That region, similar to SD has a late summer. I had AC and I'm glad I did. Both Endenada and Lakeside are going to be hot for a few months a year. You have to choose if you like hot and dry or a little less hot and humid.

I Concur, many of us lived there in summer as well. We enjoyed staying at Quintas Papagayo (no animals allowed, they keep it really clean and its beautiful there.) Close to San Miguel beach. Never swim at Hermosa Beach. Nice for a walk. and maybe eat nearby. Water associated in port with drained sewage, boats/ships is polluted.
I use to ride collectivo cabs constantly from Tijuana to Rosarito and back for less then 1.5 $. Cabs with yellow stripe and sign " Rosarito " on front window . Last stop of this cabs is across the street from Rosarito hotel. You can enter the hotel and check the beautiful restaurant, very nice hotel, my favorite in Rosarito.
Great job guys
@@MNDanno Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this video!
I like the compare and contrasting of the different cities you have visited. Very insightful. The infrastructure is so important these days. Thanks.

Ensenada would be the perfect place to go when it's hot Lakeside, the timing works out perfectly.

the backpack thing is because people smuggle drinks and food and they want you to consume just what they offer.
