It is a fun little living room racer and since it only takes a few minutes to charge it can be ready to go at any time. Not going to set any land speed record but one you can run around the kitchen for some fun while waiting for water to boil! LOL!! Take care Mark!
It is a fun little living room racer! Very easy to set up a little course and run around and have some fun. Pet hair will clog up the gears I found out but they are fairly easy to clean out.
Holy crapola these are super cool little toys! I need all the buggies! What a cool little toy! That things has some good speed for its size! Super fun!
It is a fun little living room racer! I have run it several times now and I I can sit at my desk and run it all over the basement and it only takes a few minutes to charge. They remind me of my old RadioShack Zip Zaps and I had a ton of with them! Super fun to set up little kitchen floor tracks and go back to that little kid feeling! LOL!
So back in the late 2000’s, these things were also released under the AirHogs name but they had licensed Tamiya bodies. Me and my younger brother had pretty much every one they made. They had the Grasshopper, Frog, Fox, Hornet, Avante, Hot Shot, and Rough Rider! Man were they fun!!!
Oh wow, I did not know that. I am slightly happy they are not officially licensed as I would have to spend a small fortune getting them all! LOL! I may still get the Avante looking one.
It is a fun one to leave on the bench for a quick run around every now and then. They are just the right speed to be fun but not flip over all the time! Thanks for finding them!
Yeah, I did not realize they were not offered over there. Sorry about the tease! Normally my cat heads for the hills when he sees one hit the living room floor, this he was not bothered by and even went to investigate!
Well, I have a soft spot for these micro cars😊 Would love to have one as The Frog:) And as a bonus, my cat absolutely loves your videos also:) Every time you do a run video, she's glued to the screen and follows the car speeding around, trying to catch it with her paws:) So you have two fans in this household 😊
A Frog would be a cool on to do and very fitting for the design of them as well! I am glad you and your cat are enjoying the videos! It is funny to watch them watch TV. We will put on bird videos occasionally to entertain ours, he goes into overload after a while and we have to turn it off to keep his little mind from overheating LOL!!
It is a neat little living room racer! I have played with several time now waiting for a battery to finish charging or anything else where you have 4 or 5 minutes of time to kill! Like you said a great one for cold and/or rainy days!
Yeah they definitely were heavily influenced by the Tamiya kits! LOL!! For a little matchbox size buggy it gets around pretty well! Fun little living room racer and recharges super fast!
I agree Addam, a very cool tiny buggy! It was faster than I was expecting too. How the hell they don't get hit with copyright though with 3 blatant Tamiya rip-offs! But if they were licensed they'd be twice the price! Wishing you a great weekend there fella! 😎👊👍
They are quite peppy for something with a motor the size of 540 motor brushes! Might actually be a little smaller than that honestly! They were pretty courageous in so closely "borrowing" the design of the buggies and the box art for them! You are right though, fully licensed and they'd be $50 a piece! I am sure it is one of those things where the moment they get contacted to stop they cease being that company and turn into another one over night. Take care and have a wonderful weekend as well Mark!
It is a cool little thing. Fun little living room racer and quick stress reliever! Only takes a few minutes to charge and is quicker than I expected it to be!
Yeah this won't do well in your sandy location but it does make a great living room racer. Sadly it seem like they are not widely available in the UK so you will have to take my word for it. But if you do run across one, grab it, they are fun little things!
I almost did but I am trying to be good at the moment and not buy too much stuff! I am glad I did drop the $20 for the one though, it is a fun little living room racer!
Hey Addam, it’s quite a swift little guy! 😊😊for a reproduction, certainly have done a good job of looking the the 10th scale Tamiya model 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😉😎
Yes, they did a great job shrinking it down so small but keeping the proper looks of the real buggy. It is a fun little thing and a perfect commercial break racer!
It is a fun little living room racer! I think you will have fun with it and it doesn't take much to make a little course for it or just free range run it all over the place! Thanks for the support!
That looks like a great little fun RC, amazing what technology can do these days. Look forward to seeing what sort of time you can set round your track ;)
It is really cool they make something so tiny go pretty well! I don't think it is ready for the track though. They'll have come out with a 2s brushless version before I try that! LOL!
They did an impressive job shrinking them down and there is a lot of details from the actual buggy in there. Even did a great job "borrowing" the box art from the originals as well. LOL
They are fun little things to rip around the living room with! They did a great job "borrowing" some classic buggy designs and shrinking them down pretty accurately and very courageous of them to do a copy paste box art bit on there! Photoshop to the rescue!
LOL, I don't think it is going to make it around the track! definitely a clean, flat surface type of buggy. I have holes in my track that would swallow this thing! LOL! It is a fun one to rip around the living room though.
😮 OMG, ive never wanted something so much. But, will it take my 10.5 brushless motor ? To pep it up a little 🤔😂 i would so try and run this at the club 😂
It is a cool little living room racer! Not sure how it would handle the track though! The transponder is almost as big as it is. You could display it on a 10.5 motor, but I cannot see it fitting LOL!!!
Yeah, I heard from others they don't have them on Amazon over there. I tried to look around but I am limited on searches for the UK. I don't have my VPN setup any longer!
Nice I will get the Avante as I love blur and yellow Ikea spec cars. Though I will have to see if it's available here in Malaysia thermistor the shipping will be too much.
They are neat little things, the Beetle is cool! I am curious how well the truck runs as well! Of course I want them all but will stick with this one for now LOL!!
Yeah, a little bonus video this week! It is a fun little thing, great for a living room floor race ever now and then! It is amazing they can manufacture, package, ship and sell these for $20!! I'll take it though!
Yeah, proportional steering would be helpful but once you drive it once or twice you start to get the feel for it a lot more. Of course making those improvements would probably increase the size and cost. The controllers are clicky but overall work well for just goofing off!
I want them all! LOL! I am going to be good and just keep it to just the one for now though! It is a great commercial break racer or a fun way to pass the time in the conference calls that go long because someone asked a question that was already answered LOL!
LOL, I hope I never have to take it apart! That thing has some tiny bits in there! I do have that 7000kv brushless motor doing nothing at the moment.....
Yes, made in China. They are too cheap to be made anywhere else. Fun little living room racers, it would take a little while to get around your carpet track though! LOL
I got a knock off Tamiya mini 4wd car and it's nothing but an ornament cause it's so poorly built , the body of a hornet is ok and the stickers are ok but the mechanics of it are so shitly put together the motor can't even turn the wheels ,lmao
Well that stinks. Brent has gotten two now and all 3 of our have run well so these sound a bit better built than the one you got. The Christmas ornament idea is great though!
Mate these are so cool i was surprised at how well Brent's avante went perfect small space racers great fun for a kitchen track on a rainy day 👊
It is a fun little living room racer and since it only takes a few minutes to charge it can be ready to go at any time. Not going to set any land speed record but one you can run around the kitchen for some fun while waiting for water to boil! LOL!! Take care Mark!
Cute little hotshot! They would be perfect for table top racing in a small DIY race circuit.
It is a fun little living room racer! Very easy to set up a little course and run around and have some fun. Pet hair will clog up the gears I found out but they are fairly easy to clean out.
Hehe, I like these micro buggies. Thanks for showing Addam.
It is a fun little thing and it went a lot faster than I expected. Not going to be a track buggy but a great one to run around in the living room!

Awesome little buggy 😎😎💯
It is a funny little thing and a fun to run around. Would be a perfect commercial break racer or boring meeting racer for sure! LOL!
Hey Addam that is a pretty zippy micro Hot Shot, great fun for inside when the weather really gets cold.
It is a neat little living room racer! I have played with several time now waiting for a battery to finish charging or anything else where you have 4 or 5 minutes of time to kill! Like you said a great one for cold and/or rainy days!

Hahaha great little RC.
It is a fun little office or living room racer! Great way to enjoy some of those "meetings that could have been an email" situations! LOL!!

They are some funny and fun little things! Not an off road machine but is great for some living room racing!
Pretty cool little things I got a few similar ones for the odd day in the man cave

They are 2.4ghz systems so you should be able to run a bunch of them all at the same time without issue.
Brushless conversion? 😜
