This is right on time. I was thinking about doing this very thing. I have the 32 inseam myself,so this worked out just right. Thanks brother.
I've got a 32" inseam as well and I have been running the same footrest different pegs for a couple years. I love em!
Do you run the standard or extended length?
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 riding in comfort. Have a good time down there.
Long rides you have to have some comfort. The new foot boards look awesome. Enjoy the Journey to the K River camp ground guys be safe 👍👍🇨🇦
The foot pegs look good great choice. In my opinion. Be good and be safe!!
Hell yeah. Thanks for this. Ive had the long arms on my Ultra, just got a RGS with chopped crash bars and this is exactly what i need.
Right on, glad it helped!
Pretty cool accessory. Looks like it'll do you just fine on those long trips.
Have mine mounted to the engine guard, love them!
I have them absolutely brilliant.
Sounds like we have the same inseam issues, I put these on my Road Glide as well used them on the trip to Sturgis this year. Well worth it. I set mine up the same so I can rest my heal on the floor board and put a toe on the highway peg.
Sweet looking... Much cleaner look
I ride with heel on board so I can pivot off peg to brake quickly. Being they are up higher I tighten up peg very tight So if by chance I drop her the peg will catch it.
Got them on mine. Love them. Helped get me to Sturgis this year. They are strong enough for my fat butt to stand on!
The one place I'm fortunate; as a 5'0" tall rider, the footboards on my Slim S afford me the ability to put my legs in "mid peg" feel as well as my heels out on the boards. So...crazy that I don't really need any aftermarket stuff for me to stretch out. Ride safe!
Very informative!
They are awesome, I like mine
BlacktopDevil, The new Highway Mounts look great. They look comfortable that’s a good thing
So far they have been super confortable. I'm happy with them.
They look pretty good.
I really like the "easy breezy" style of your videos. Enjoy your trip to the KRiver. We rode down there from ATL last November.
Thanks! And we will for sure! That's probably a nice ride from GA!
They look good on your bike, cheers
It will be good to see you homie!
Looking forward to it! 👊
I have these on my 13 Ultra, they are pricey but work great !!
Be aware of these type of foot mounts. I have this on my 2017 RGS. These mounts are nice. However if you ever drop your bike( like I have) these foot mounts take the whole brunt of the weight of the drop. And severe damage happens to your bike as oppose to the highway mounts which bolt to the crash bars. The crash bars takes the whole weight along with the highway bars, and replacing those are cheap. You do notice that the Ciro mounts reach past the crash bars. My suggestion to you is, not to use the HD bolts . Those bolts are grade 8, and when you do drop the bike. (Which unfortunately will happen)the Ciro highway pegs from taking all the weight will snap those SOBs off, also it bends rhe Ciro highway brackets severely to where you'll need to hammer them back into shape. Also jamming the floorboard(s) either into the lower exhaust, or primary causing more damage. I know from EXPERIENCE. You'll have to drill those broken bolts out. Use a grade 5. Those are more pliable, and willl bend , not break. If I could do it all over again, and get back the 300 spent, I would. They've been more of a headache then they're worth.
Good info, thanks! I drop my bike at least once a year so we'll see haha
@@LifeontheBlacktop lol, most don't admit it. But it happens. Been riding for 25 years. Believe it or not dropped mine twice in one day. Blew my mind bad day. No damage except for my pride. Was backing it out dipped the wheel in the gutter,it was all over. Other time that day wife leaned to the wrong side when I backing into a parking spot...
Just ordered mine
Ya gotta be comfortable man, great install on the mini floorboards brother,💯
Absolutely. And thank you!
I was just looking at Ciros website yesterday and was checking these out. Sandoval has a set on his Road Glide. And John Maxwell did an install video of them too. They are spendy, but Ciro makes some top shelf stuff. I think I'm gonna snag a set. Easy install and probably takes an hour or less. Thanks!
So far I'm super happy with them. And yeah they didn't take much time at all. I think I had them done in less than an hour and that included filming everything
Wife and I are leaving the KRIVER day before you get there, to bad I would have like to met you. Love how you and Lady Devil are just normal people doing what you love. Ride Safe
Thanks Jerry, too bad we cant meet up!
I love my ASR mini boards from Ciro3d
cool vid! thanks
Nice video as always, So you are two going to the reunion at K-river ? I would love to go myself as well not sure yet but will think about it . I have not even installed the pegs I bought for my passenger Lol just to busy this time of the year .
I always look at the foot pegs but can't pull the trigger on them. I'm sure they are comfy but I hate the look so I went with a Lindby Magnum bar with silicone rings on the top. Now I just throw a foot up on those and I'm good
It was great to meet you guys at Rushmore!
Great meeting you as well, Jim!
Looks comfortable. Us short legged guys need all the help we can get.
That we do lol
I put these on my Road glide CVO and they reduced my lean angle and also made the first point to touch the hard point mount. So when I leaned it too far the first point to touch was my Mount and it picked me up and slid me down the road wrecking my bike. No warning. Didn’t even touch my floor boards.
How low did you have them mounted?! One thing I asked when I picked them up is if they would reduce lean angle and they told me no. After I installed them I tried it out and my saddle bags hit way before these do. In fact I can't even get these to hit. Glad you're OK!
Put them on my RGS 2 years ago. There ausome!
Little late on the draw here.... i installed on my SGS.... and it took a ride or two to get them clearanced....i like the adjustability and look.... but they can drag a little.... Thanks.... ride safe...
I can't get them to hit. My saddle bags drag way before these. Glad you like them though, I love having the extra spot for my foot.
Hope your getting in the mini bike race at KRiver next Saturday!
You know it!
Ya'll have fun at the KRiver. I planned on going, but I changed jobs and moved from Arkansas to Montana a few months ago....So, travelling is out for a little while.
Will do man. Enjoy that big sky out there!
How is the lean angle on these. I frequently scrape the floorboards on my 2018 Ultra. Will these contact the ground before the floorboards?
I asked them that same question and they said they do not affect lean angle. I put them to the test and my saddlebags hit before these do.
Lock tight is your friend! Rolled out of town for a week, just on the edge of town my mirror started whirlie-birding all over the place. HD store was two minutes away, to drop some lock tight in place and good to go for the trip. Do you like running boards, or have you thought about forward controls instead? I think I dig the forward controls idea.
I have forwards on my Street Bob and love them on that bike. Definitely prefer the boards on the touring bike though!
I was just about to ask if you thought they would drag when your on twisted roads . Then I saw your old pegs that are up higher .
Heather doesn't let me lean like I want while she's on the bike so I'll test em out solo lol
I got the Ciro mounts too Mr. Devil! I like 'em a lot! Man RUclips is really steppin' up the ads, think there was eight of 'em! That means you'll be gettin' more money, right? 😏
8?! Wtf
I just ordered these to go with the Thrashin floorboards and pegs I ordered . At the end of the process it asked where I heard about these at . You weren’t on the list so I gave credit to the advan black guy . Ciro3D needs to put Blacktop on the list !
I'll get on em about it! 😁
Thank you for the video. I put these on my RG and I love the look of them. One issue I have is that my feet do not transition away from the bike without hitting the peg mount arm. I moved it lower but then I had to rotate the foot peg arm up on a 90 degree angle which I really don't think looks that great. Has anyone else had this issue with the arms?
Is your toe hitting it as you move from the footboard to the ground, or what exactly is hitting?
@@LifeontheBlacktop yes. As I move my feet away from the bike to place them on the ground my toe area hits the arm.
@@JoseVazquez-gj8oy it happened for me for a week than it stopped. You’ll automatically adjust to it without even knowing
Do you get less lean angle on these? Seems like you would rub the ciro mount first than the floor boards.
They are engineered to not affect lean angle. My extended saddlebags drag way before these would.
Wanted them for my 2019 Heritage Softail before my 1650 mile trip from Texas to Upper Dakota. They don't make them yet. *sigh*
Dang it!
I have something similar to that on my bike love them there. Ya I'm short legged too! Lol
The struggle is real lol
Will any harley foot pegs foot on those mounts ? What size is needed ? Great video
From their website:
Already have your favorite footpegs? Works with OEM and aftermarket footpegs with Harley-Davidson style 1/2" male mount.
So the answer is absolutely!
I’m a shorter rider, inseam is definitely shorter than yours. Do you still recommend these? I’d be installing them on a 2021 Tri Glide. I could stretch my legs on the floor boards, but don’t like doing it due to it putting my feet at an awkward angle. I’d probably need these as far back as possible.
I actually have shorter legs and they work great for me. They aren't super far out so you can rest your toe on it or the side of your foot for a more relaxed position if you want. Not sure your inseam but I'm 30/31
Paris HD tech did Adam's bike and mentioned putting bike on stand for left side.
Can the pegs be flipped up and out of the way as you ride? Or are they always in the same fixed position?
They flip up
Did you lose any lean angle? How about clearance/width versus your other foot pegs?
Didn't lose any. That's one thing I asked them before I got them and they said they are designed not to lose any. I did try to get them to hit and ended up dragging my saddle bag lol width wise they are good. I have them set kind of low so I can rest my toe on them or stretch way out and rest my heel on the edge of them. Lots of positions to choose from.
I didnt catch if you have the standard or the extended arm length?
These are the standard, they didn't have the extended yet when I got these. I have stubby legs so these work great haha
Dig the tune in background. What is song & band
Lack of Humanity by No Sons of Mine
Cirinmakes a great product. I hopebthey give you some free stuff for inspiring us to buy their products
Also... Congrats on puttin up a few more pieces of drywall lol (now it needs a cool black top devil wall mural and paint job)
Haha thanks. I'm going to finish it soon. I swear 😂
Which one did you end up keeping and why, the frame mount from Ciro or the engine gaurd mounted?
I’m a long distance rider so I kept both on and still use both. If I didn’t ride long miles I would only use the Ciro ones. The other ones are just nice for another place to put my feet
Do you find yourself scrapping them on the ground when cornering at all?
I tried really hard and found my saddle bags scrape way before these do. I actually did a hard left and heard the scraping and when I got to where I was going I checked these and I was like "wtf, where is the damage?!". Then I noticed my bags. So the short answer is no lol
Did you use extended or standard length? I am 5'6" with a 28" inseam. therefore thinking the standard length will keep it closer. Opinion?
Edit: Do HD footpegs/miniboards work on the mounts?
These are standard length. I have pretty short legs also and they work well for me. And Yes, the male mount Harley stuff works with it. Hope that helps!
So...I made my lazy self look on the Ciro site for a few details. Apparently they recommend the standard length for under 33" inseams and yes, they work with factory pegs.
I’ve been eyeballing these forever, just haven’t pulled the trigger.
Ditto lol
Dude, what up with the open electric panel in garage ?
Still finishing it.
Buddy that wentwith me dragon tail couple weeks ago had them he was so afraid he was going scape them . He didn't want to scape his floorboards either.
Brian this is the winter type of video you said winter not too long ago now the winter curse is upon you. Nice job on the video I like to have a few spots for the feet.
Yeha no kidding. It's currently 40° right now and I'm frozen
I’m not sure how this doesn’t dig into the pavement on turns. The floorboard flips up but the bar is stationary, am I missing something here?
I wondered the same. They assured me I wouldn't have any less lean angle. I set out to prove them wrong and it turns out my bags scrape before the mounts do lol
They are a great idea but unfortunately don't work if you use footboard spacers. Which are a must for comfort IMO. So for me it's engine guard highway pegs only.
Why do you have your silver highway pegs on the wrong sides?
I like them that way.
How are you liking them so far ?
Love them! I ended up leaving my old ones on too so I have multiple positions. Helped me a lot coming home from Oklahoma.
See ya when you get here!
Lookin forward to it man!
What air breather do u have
Its a Roland Sands. Venturi 5 I believe. Been awhile lol
@@LifeontheBlacktop I'm looking for something, haven't seen one that catches my eye, but I like yours...im the guy in blue 😁
The RSD ones, in my opinion, are some of the best looking ones out there. They aren't cheap though.
What’s the lean angle verdict?
My bags drag before these
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET thanks man. @@LifeontheBlacktop
@@LifeontheBlacktop PERFECT hitting tail of the dragon this year, and i live in a twisty mountainy area anyway. Need something that wont interfdere, and i lean HARD lol. Do you run the standard or extended length?
@@thatguy8718 I have extended advanblack bags so they’ll drag before the regular ones obviously. Ciro told me they’ve tested these with no issues. They are quite adjustable so if you have them super low they might drag (but I don’t think that would be a comfortable position)but you can put them higher if that’s the case. I was always going to take my bags off and lay the bike over on a strap to get actual proof of how far you can lean it with these, but I got lazy and never did it lol.
@@LifeontheBlacktop you da fuqin man. thankls for the added insight dude!!!! Buying today.
Will that work on any bike
Their website says 09+ Harley Touring. Wouldn't take much to make an adapter mount for something else if you have a friend with a mill though.
@@LifeontheBlacktop be safe out there buddy stay warm it's going to be cold this week
I'm already shivering lol
See ya at the Kriver
Lyndall Fuller
I like what kind of hway pegs what kind of cost? Great video for us shirt legs. Peace ✌ duh I'll ck the link. Thx
I'll let you see the price on their site lol. However, it's something I can justify if it helps me ya know?
Snowing in Denver....just saying...
I wear A 32 inch inseam!!!! 😂🤣
😂
One foot-pound is equal to 12 inch-pounds
Loctite expires. Who knew?
If you, and John Maxwell, and SIK Baggers could stop spending my money for me on Ciro that would be great....🤣😂
😂
i'm 6'5" i live on my HWY pegs, could not ride without them. Be sure to check out my channel post scheduled for 5 AM Saturday, I'm doing a Shout out/Celebrity Roast and I am pretty sure you have a cameo spot on the show. Sorry in advance you and the she-Devil were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. ha.
Haha I'll check it out!
Only person I know with 2 stuby legs and a long...... ponytail ;)

you get what you pay for
did you use one Clevis spring washer or 2 on either side.
I believe I only have 1 per side
