These three words are the best way to describe Wandrd bags. But the real question is... Does the WANDRD X1 Crossbody live up to the Wandrd aesthetic?
This is the all-new crossbody bag from Wandrd with an impressive origami-style organization in the main compartment. It's got a fairly weather-resistant exterior fabric so you could shrug off spillage/rain to some extent. Well, if you think there's nothing to worry about this crossbody, you are wrong. Its shoulder strap has a dangle stopper but, in the long run, it definitely gets loose. Not a big deal for some but it's something you should consider.

The lid on this looks like an afterthought. I do love magnets though haha still loving the alpaka vertical sling with the added mag strap.
I think it was in the initial design and looked great, but in reality the development showed it was a bit harder... it def works, but not in an awesome way
I like the lid - if it were the main pocket, it would suck. But it’s great for a cell phone, and with the pass-thru, it works terrific tio charge.
I like the form factor. The internal stuff is.. interesting.. i fear I'd feel like I'm carrying more bag than stuff iyswim.
I like it though and the review is, as always, brilliant.

How could anyone resist a N210D HD plus UHM WPE..! But is it ICBM proof.? Could it have usages in INCH or BOB or GHB..? duration of SHTF.??

Yeah that origami thing messes up my use case for this form factor, vertical things like this just screams camera holster to me. The wotancraft pilot 2 or 3.5 and the greenroom136 sidekeep rdx are my conceptual ideals.

I’m using it for my Nikon 35ti point and shoot film camera and it works great. Even fit an extra roll of film in the mesh top pocket. But yeah… nothing bigger

Yeah that strap... I kinda disagree that the width is good enough too: in HK or Japan or Singapore yeah sure. Elsewhere, a thicker strap is a theft detterent.
how so? less likely to be cut? if that's the case I don't think an extra 2 millimetres will detur a knife-wielding-thief

@@jcloiseau I see your point but I do stick by mine as well - nylon webbing is fairly strong and a few extra cm will not really help much. But I'm no scientist haha, just my personal perspective
Most of their products come with black interior lining, which puts me off from buying one. I love the tech pouch exterior and design language but knowing its lining is black fabric, ouch.
