Clara if you have pendant were the eye loop is turned use a block of wood to work on that is clamped down just so have it not move. Silver in amethyst great combo luv me some turquoise. These turned out beautiful 👍🏼💜💕
Desperately trying to find the same bezels that you use as they are chunky and have a nice patina. Please, if anyone finds them anywhere can you post the link? Thanks x 😘
Hello Clara, thank you for sharing your techniques. I was looking for the bezels you used in the video. The bezels in the amazon links above are different from the ones in the video. TIA.
Thank you for watching. Ok, this bag was a mixture coming from 2 sources. One of them isn't available anymore. Sorry. Here is one source from Amazon affiliates link. amzn.to/2K3fcxC.
YOUR OPEN BEZELS ARE SO PRETTY!!!! I am mainly using dried botanicals in my open bezels. I have had a few overflows and or leakage under the tape. What do you suggest to get that resin off? I am afraid the Dremil tool will be too much vibration and worried I may scuff the outside of the bezel. Any suggestions.? Looks like you have some awesome video tutorials. Can't wait to watch those too.
Thanks. Try to carefully pry it off with an xacto knife. Be super careful as they are really sharp. Acetone applied carefully with a Q tip might soften it enough to peel off. The only thing I don’t know is if it would take any finish off your bezels.
I use a variety of pigments meant for resin. All my colors I get from Artist Till Death. Use code "howdy" to get an additional 5% off. artisttilldeath.com
These are so beautiful! I am so thankful for this video. I recently did some resin pendants and no matter how well I pressed them down on to the tape they still continued to leak out the sides. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'll keep trying.
Thanks. These bezels come with tape. In fact I placed the bezels so close together that I have plenty of tape left over. The tape worked excellent. I have a link in the description for these bezels, but I will put it here too for you. Open Bezels - amzn.to/333bCJf Teardrop Open Bezels - amzn.to/2F69LeG
Hey Clara I tried making pendants using this technique yesterday. I wanted clear resin pendants with some flowers but the back side of the pieces which was stuck to the tape turned hazy. Can you help me fix it
I would sand the hazy side very carefully (just to put a few scratches on to the resin so the next layer can bond well), then put a small amount of resin on top of that. Let that cure. It should go into the cracks and make the hazy (texture of the tape) go away.
Hey Clara, Thanks for this video. I've been having issues with my resin being sticky on the side where the tape is after it's fully cured. Do you have that problem with this tape? I've tried aluminum tape and I've tried packing tape and have the issue with both of those. Other than that my projects turn out great. But I can't sell to customers until I figure this out and don't know what to do. I even bought some goo be gone type stuff to get it to stop being sticky and it didn't work. I even put it out in the sun and some of them stopped being sticky and some were still sticky. I just don't know what to do to solve this problem.
HELLO another suggestion take a smaller one and put inside a bigger one and just fill the outer ring only once its dried add a pic of anything to the inside. Just remove the inside ring off the middle one.
I’ve just watched a RUclips video of someone using epoxy resin as clay..letting it cure for a while, then with gloves on, rolling it up and moulding it into the bezel. If you’ve not thrown your disaster, you could try this? She made her own bezels with copper wire. They were really good. I’m new to resin, so I’m learning from my mistakes.
Good Day Clara, what a great lesson this is! I'm learning so very much! Your so inspiring and freely share your talents with us! Rolling a pencil or rollin pen on the bezels once placed on the tape helps too to make sure no leakage. Jus a thought
Absolutely stunning 🎉
It’s great to see someone with nails like mine 🤪👏🇮🇪
Giggle. Mine have a huge range of really pretty to OMG did you go out in public with those! Life of an artist.
Thank you for making this! I’m using resin tape for the first time and this is going to be so helpful!!
Hi how do you clean off the tape adhesive off ???
Try Goo Gone. Here is my affiliate link amzn.to/3PVuhhm
Can regular tape be used🤔🤔🤔
This is a good tutorial thanks!!
So pretty
Thank you ❤😊
how is your tape not curled. mine doesnt stay down therefore not laying flat.
I've been lucky that it hasn't curled. I would probably start with taping down the edges with regular tape and go from there.
Hey folding the ends of your tape over a bit. It gives you something to hold when working and help the rolling.
How fun! I have a bunch of there sitting here. You have inspired me to use them next time I resin :)
Thanks. That's great. Share when you do. Would love to see them.
I wish you could have shared the final look front and back. These look beautiful.
also how she mixed the colors and what she used. I love those!!
Can someone tell me how to get the sticky tape residue off the back of the pendent? There always seams to be residue when I use the tape.
Try goo gone. Here is my affiliates link amzn.to/3oRcQTa
I saw a post on another Chanel suggesting to roll over each edge of the tape so you can handle it without getting stuck
These are beautiful. The video was very helpful. Do you doom them when they are cured and if so do you have a video?
Super cool! Thanks for being a good teacher :)
I try. But it is good to hear that you think I'm a good teacher.
Здравствуйте. Очень красивые кулоны получились, спасибо за видео.
Спасибо. Я правда ценю это. (Thanks. I appreciate that.)

Great idea. I love amethyst and silver. That is my favorite combo in jewelry.
So pretty ! Just ordered the set from amazon! Thanks for showing how to do this !
Thanks. They are easy to do. Have fun.
Thanks for sharing Clara. I’ve been looking for something to do with my left over resin. This is perfect!
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching. I'm always looking for a practical way to use my left over resin. I'm happy to share.
It is necessary to use uv resin tape is there any alternative? Of tape
I've always used this tape, but I would try heavy shipping tape as another option. It's worth a try.
When do you remove tape?
No sooner than 24 hours for most epoxy, but UV can be removed a lot faster if it is already cured under a uv light.
Thank you, just to ask do you dome them at the end🤔?
Yes, but I usually put so much in that I don't need to.
We can work without bezel tape? We can use normal tape for UV resin work?
I've only used the bezel tape. But I bet thick shipping tape would also do.
Beautiful! 😍💕
Thanks so much.
Hi, how do you clean/take off the blue glueish film that the tape left on the pendant/resin??

What kind of tape are you using
It is the tape that came with the kit. I have used strong shipping tape too.
Great
Thanks. I appreciate that.

Some of those bezels look like Nunn Design bezels. Nunn bezels are my favorite.

I use silicone pads and just press the pendants down firm and then fill will resin works great works so much better than tape

Tried to use this technique but for some reason my resin tends to seep through the bottom 😞
Oh no! Sounds like the seal wasn't strong. So sorry.

You can add a additional thin layer of resin on the back.It gets rid of stickiness
HELLO another suggestion take a smaller one and put inside a bigger one and just fill the outer ring only once its dried add a pic of anything to the inside. Just remove the inside ring off the middle one.
That is a good idea. I will have to find a ring without the loop for hanging.
I should have seen this video first. I kept the non sticky side of the tape on the top 😢
