Yeah they're a great foundation piece. Any embellishments - stamps, tatoos - are all personal taste then aren't they? I preferred them that way too. I love how different people's tastes diverse. Keeps us all interesting.
A tip for staze on inks pads... Add a glue dot to the inside of lid & place on top of the clear pad cover. Each time you now use it, both lids will be taken off together and less chance of being misplaced.
Instead of buying different colours of Stazon Claire get the clear one, then get whatever colours of embossing powders you like and melt it with your heat gun, it gives you a really nice effect instead of just flat colours. (don't keep the heat gun in one place for too long you move it about until it becomes raised, if you heat it too long it will just go flat) You can either leave it at that or dome up with your resin. I reckon you will love the effect it gives you.😃
Beautiful pendants. I am a stamper and I have a few tips if you want them. 1- condition your stamp before using it for the first time. You can use your hands or you can use an eraser. I like to stamp it loads of times on a piece of paper until it looks good. There are manufacture oils on the surface and can make the ink pool on the stamp. 2- do not press to much on your stamp with a slippery surface. Put it down and let the ink set into the piece. A very gentil touch will make a big difference. As long as your stamp has a full coverage of ink you’ll be golden. Hope these tips help. I love them all. Such beautiful pieces. Thank you for sharing ❤
I am so if I wasn’t more clear. You can rub the stamp on the palm of your hand until it looks cloudy. Or you can use an eraser over the raised areas. The eraser sometimes leaves tiny bits so I just use the palm of my hands. I hope this helps. 😊
Triangle jump rings work perfect with this mold. I made my own. And Please! Move to the botanicals and spring that sounds so exciting! But I’d watch any video you make♥️ love them all! Thanks!
I’d be tempted to use a white ink for the stamps in this project. Possibly gold. I have had metallic stamp pads before, and they were quite opaque and visible.
You can make your own jump rings very easily. Just wrap wire round and round something that's the size you need. Wrap close and tight till it looks like a spring then get some snips and snip up all of them at a slight angle so that you can wiggle them back into shape with 2 sets of pliers
I say YES to moving on into spring! I’m in the cold wet pacific Northwest , Washington USA. I’m ready for the clouds to part and reveal blue sky and sunshine! For color combos, Claire, I love love love a. very soft, antiquated pink, ballet slipper is how I usually define it, with gold and cream. You were very close with the shell mica but a slight more cream color is what I’m talking about. Love your work, Claire, and your enthusiasm 🫶❤️🫶
OH wow those colours are to die for I think the pink and pearl gold was it for me GORGEOUS !!! . If you feel you need to move onto spring GO FOR IT !!! DO what YOUR heart desires
Love your enthusiasm. You can quite easily make any size jump ring you like. Find an object you think will fit, like a pencil and tightly wrap wire around it. Pull it off and cut a straight line down the coil with nippers. Also, those nails come in all sizes. I am notorious for ordering the wrong size. Love and learn.
Botanical oval trays, was one of the very first of your videos that I watched… it was probably about 3 years ago… and I was hooked. I’ve been following you ever since!! So, I can’t wait to see more! Much love from Brisbane, Australia. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
You can buy a little kit to make your own split rings/jump rings. You could also buy some different size wooden rods & buy your own wire, either in copper or other beautiful colours to create your own rings to match your creations. I really recommend making your own as you can make batches for watch size & colour. Or you can make them as you need them. It doesn’t take too long either. Plus, if you find something long, solid & in a different shape, you could make square, triangle, star etc. split rings if you really want to change things up. Keep your eyes peeled in case you spot something that you could wrap your wire around to make your own rings.
Didn’t like the stamps but omg the mint and ballet colour beautiful - going to purchase mold but please let us know what size rings! I’m exactly the same Claire ding read measurements lol! X
The colors on these are absolutely stunning! Makes me want to order them but I'm tapped out at the moment. I liked the black stamps on them but also like them without. You do you is my opinion on that. All in all they are all just beautiful and I love your upbeat and bubbly attitude when listening to you.
That Mint and Green made me flashback to college. Definitely, Delta Zeta colors, if you were ever in the Greek scene in college. For me, college was end of the ‘80s and early ‘90s.
Thank u so much for this video!!! I knew this was possible, and someone was doing this. I’m super excited to give it a try! Thanks again beautiful work!
I think I have commented this before but I really think a stamp positioning tool like the misty and a sticky mat should really help with the slip and slide, and the spotty stamping. And i love purple and dark green with silver accents!
Ohhhh yes yes you may have said this before for sure - I think it would definitely help without a doubt - I need t look in to getting one thank you so much xxxx
These are so pretty Claire. Those colours took me right back to some curtains I had in the 1990s! I find those pinch bails are too small for that pendant mould (even without a top coat!) but the larger sized ones you used in a previous video work really well in them. I'm looking forward to your botanicals series because the things you produce whenever you do a botanicals series are always stunning. Do what makes your heart happy :)
These are so stinking cute ohmygosh! That mint green with a nice soft blue would be so pretty too! Im gonna need to get these colors. As far as the jump rings go,yeah,i do that all the time too. Forget to measure properly and go by the seat of my pants with whatever jump rings i already have lol😂! Love your channel Claire, you make beautiful things and make my day better when i see a video!
Another wonderful addition to your amazing crafts projects,Ms Claire 😍💜.You always come up with something new and extraordinarily beautiful creations.Loved the colors ,the charms look gorgeous as pendants, Ms Claire 😍💜
I recently started playing with resin. I also used to make my own cards so I have loads of stamps thank you for the inspiration to use them in my projects your work is amazing
Pink and mint are my favorite combination. I got married in 1991, and the colors were peach and mint. And the pink you used isn't a in your face pink. Ballet slipper! Beautiful ❤️. And move on to spring, but can you mix some St. Paddy's Day in with the spring? Or the other way around? Mix Spring flowers with St. Paddy's day? ❤❤❤ I love your videos and I am sorry I missed the premiere. ❤
Still here! Love these! Not sure I'm in love with the stamps but I liked that u did use the black ink. Love all ur vids Claire, very inspirational and instructional! 💙💜👍
I like all of them without stamps acually. ❤
Agreed

Great tip. I have a gold one. The plastic lid is a mess and when I touch it I'm a mess. Blotches..... Thank you
Pretty genius. Thank you. Great idea.
Thank you for the genius tip! 🫶
Beautiful, where to purchase the lovely powders

Hi Leanne, thanks for sharing those tips, I'll find them very useful x ❤
A little more explanation on how you are conditioning would be appreciated.

Thank you for the great information..definitely will use the tips from you..❤❤❤
I think they turned out lovely. For me personally, I wouldn't have added the stamp. I think a dry flower would look fantastic!! ❤😊❤

I think the iris and shell against each other would be great.
