Michelle make the cabochon or heart ect, then take it out pour a drop or two of uv on your print and squish it on. That way you can check for bubbles. Also you can pour silicon on those inprint plates and make inlays that can be lay on top of resin let dry and the print will be there when resin is dry.

I have discovered that using black UV nail polish is the very best for backing my jewelry anytime I want something with a black back. I use a few coats depending on how dark I want the black.
Also anytime I have rough edges on my UV projects I just use a rotary tool with a sanding round. Works like a champ!

knife. Then I take my scissors and I slice all the way down as far as it will go into the can and just make about four slices into the aluminum. I said it aside and keep it for scissor sharpening or do all my scissors at one time. This makes your scissors very sharp. your neighbor from across the state.❤ps I use cuticle nippers to cut off the excess resin that leaks out. ❤

Might I suggest tracing the heart onto your film with a sharpie. Then cut the shape out just inside your sharpie mark. It should then just fit inside your mold without all the cutting at the end.
You can also make your black a bit darker then do thin layers of it on the back of your pieces. Just put a couple of layers on it should cure just fine. This is the way I do mine. Adds extra time but you can get the black darker on the back and make it stand out just a bit more.
Everything turned out well. It's the inlays I haven't done much on myself. I really like the sand dollar. In the resin it makes it look bigger. Like magnifies it. Really cool. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
