I used my mouse, pushing down and making small movements for precision work in high DPI settings. I really like control-focused pads like the GSR! I'm happy to see there's a new alternative from Artisan!!

As mice get lighter, control pads will increase in popularity. This was a great choice by Artisan and has been a long time coming.
Control is only for people with poor mouse control or people who play counter strike the cheaters return

It is now May and i assume the type 99 will be out soon.
So which hardness do i want to get if I want something as close to my gsr2 as possible ??
Right now I'm thinking of getting the soft and the mid because I assume from this video that the mid is the closest to the gsr2.
But obviously not having them in person in front of me I wouldn't full know.
I have used the x-soft zero and don't like how plushy it is, but i have never used a soft variant.

I've been using the qck+ for over 3 years, I have very snappy aim and push into the mousepad for fast flicks - so the GSR-SE didn't work for me. I was thinking of getting the Vaxee PA Black instead who many called a better qck, but now that this has come out would it be a better option? I'm assuming mid variant would be best
Get the GSR is the greatest mousepad of all time

if the new Zero is like the Rizz (which i owned since release), then this definitely gonna be a true control pad. With artisan quality, I highly look forward to see if this is the new pad that will overtake the Valorant scene again.

I have a GSR II and play mostly Valorant when it comes to "serious" fps. Do you think a Type 99 Soft would be a functional improvement or pretty equal? I tend to focus on budget and performance, but I might look for one just for the extra room and that matcha color to match the keyboard I just made lol
I dont think it will make you a significantly better player but I also don't think you'll regret the purchase whatsoever. Just a different level of quality/experience

If you want a stiff and more dense feeling pad go mid. If you want a bit more plush than GSR go soft. Even though I called the mid safe feeling, it does have intense control

@shotta219 my main game is Apex and I generally prefer faster pads. Mained the Hien soft for a long time. I love the OG Raiden also and the new Shidenkai V2. I would experiment with some faster pads and see if you like them but the Hien is a great pad

man .. i really love the artisan zero but the trapping hairs issue really bugs me, made me stray away from it. ive tried the lgg saturn pro because i heard its a zero clone without the trapped hairs, however this was completely just untrue in my experience. it doesn't trap hairs of course but the saturn felt very muddy and slow whereas artisan has that stopping power while making gliding no issue.

@@boardzy From what I know It's a fully adjustable mouse kinda like what mad catz had a few years back. Can change side and rear panels out, change it from a mid hump to a rear hump to an ergo all in one mouse. I can link you up with the guys I talked to about it if you'd like.

@@boardzy also best way to test for electrostatic friction is moving around the mouse and than slowly and careful lifting it up, youell feel like the mouse is tugged towards the pad

EMC is nearly 1:1 with saturn pro more of a "zero clone" type. Just comes down to if you want an extra gear or 2 of control

soft maybe even mid, qck feels more thin then the soft if i remember correctly you can always order 2 for same shipping price then just resell the one u dislike

I disliked the G-SR 2 (although I really liked the v1) so not sure what to think about it, knowing myself I'll most likely get one anyway though :|

For me personally I raise my sens on super muddy pads, but lots of pros who use GSR have low sens

Totally different feeling pads. If you want the more traditional cloth texture+control focus you could pick this up
Compared to a LGG Jupiter? If you'd rather not buy what you call a "mud pad", I don't blame you, but its my favorite Pad so far, and the only high control pad that doesn't feel like someone is physically grabbing my mouse and holding it against my will lmao
