Thank you for this review. You helped me out reach a desired conclusion. I'll go for the Artisan Type 99 XXL in Soft for both Black And Macha colors. I am currently using Artisan FX Zero XL Soft but I feel like I need a more control pad, which I hope to be Type 99 as my absolute END GAME mousepad. To be fair, the Artisan FX Zero XL Soft did help me reach lvl 10 in Faceit, still.... I really want a more control pad. I really hope that Type 99 will satisfy me.
hello can you rank rizz regular, rizz doodle and type 99 for both static friction and then dynamic friction separately. thank you very much. one reviewer has said that rizz doodle is very close to type99. so i am confused. i am talking just about static and dynamic friction. i am not concerned surface with texture. thanks
Awsome vid. Just a question, when you said the mouse is too light? If you're stuck with that mouse, what would you prefer to use? Soft or X-soft? Cause maya x is really light that i had to lower my sens. From 1.2 to 0.8. thanks!

Yo man, soft definitely. Just put on more controlled skates but if a mouse is holding you back don't hesitate to go for something more comfortable. Many people chase the absolute best on specs but a good shape will get you higher than 1ms of latency
That’s the combo arrives me in about a couple hours. Type 99 and Maya X, I’m coming from a Corsair mousepad and a 20 euro razor wired, I’m going to trip until adjust probably xD You using that combo as well? If so how is going ?
hello, as someone who's been using the QCK for years now, would the soft or mid be closer to the QCK? I'm torn on what to get. For context i'm using a logitech g pro superlight 1 and mostly play tac shooters and ow2. Cheers
So I play only valorant. U would recommend the artisan type 99 soft one right? I think I am gonna buy that. I couldn't decide between Rizz, Pelz, Blitz but there are not in the shop anyway.
4 месяца назад
yes, soft or mid. Rizz and Pelz are coming back in stock, blitz is in stock on laonda.
Hello, i use a cheap rexus daxa jacquard mousepad and feel that its still have not enough stopping power and a little harsh on my skin, i watch a bunch of mousepad recommendation and thinking to buy gsr / qck heavy i only play valorant, can you help me recommend which one to buy? And maybe some explanation about gsr and qck heavy 🙏
@ it keeps selling out from every seller on alie express lol. It should be shipping out to me within a week or so. Never seen something sell out so fast in my life
As someone who loves the red gsr-se would you recommend this? In which softness if you agree?
24 дня назад+1
mmhmlh difficult, i wouldn't necessarily recommend tbh. gsr se is way smoother. in any case i'd recommend a soft pad but you'd be better off with a saturn pro
Finally a Type 99 review by someone who actually uses control pads. Quick question, which of the thicknesses is most similar to the qck heavy? If the mid is like a gsr, then is the soft like the qck heavy?
Oh 100%, the thing is mid is only 3mm and its much harder so soft is closer to being in the mid/soft hardness. BTW, your review is by far the best one out on the Type99.
Haha, I'm a speed freak I went with artisan raiden :) tried hayate otsu, didn't like it. Do you know any mouse skates with a lot of control power and not the quick ones?
4 месяца назад
hey, can only recommend corepads or obisidans, if your raiden is a mid you can go for dots
Thanks for the recommendations! I tried them alongside with many other dots, lol. I exchanged it for Artisan Zero with ghost glides vortex + edgerunnes (mix) instead. Otsu and Raiden weren't really for me.
Hey man great video. Can you recommend me a pad with a speed between the type 99 and the saturn pro? Ideally in 50cm size
6 месяцев назад
I think the LaOnda Pelz might be what you're looking for. It's gonna restock soon, go for the soft version when it does (it isn't smooth tho, slightly textured)
no its not a clone but i own both, the artisan zero is honestly so much better quality etc, my qck wore down so much... type99 is a worn qck level, i prefer the zero tho, and i only play cs2.
Zero is much faster with some control still. Basically what he said about the saturn but its still faster. It was just the slowest and most controlled artisan pad before they made a type 99. I upgraded from a qck to a zero back in the day and never went back. Goat mousepad. But it might be slightly fast for people who want slow control pads. I hate the static friction tho and the zero is much better in that aspect

You can't go wrong with T99 on tac shooters tbh. And if it feels too slow you can always throw in faster skates
plushiness of a qck heavy similar to a xsoft or soft type99 mousepad?
great video. need more CS2 peripheral reviewers
valorant and cs2 are pretty interchangeable no?
@@justmurky157 nah valorant too hard. i just tap heads
Does stacking the mousepads on top of each other change the feeling of them opposed to just having one on top of your desk

Just get a soft is the best advice for artisans.
Is this mousepad similar to the Zowie G-SR-SE?

the rizz nacho customz is not coated ;)
How is the rizz compared to the lgg Jupiter pro? (My current main for cs2) if type 99 is truly the best I’ll order the atk 99g (clone) and try it
Did you already try the 99g? Also asked me the same with rizz vs type99
@ it keeps selling out from every seller on alie express lol. It should be shipping out to me within a week or so. Never seen something sell out so fast in my life
by stopping power, do you specifically mean static friction without taking plushiness into account? or is it by digging into the mousepad.
stopping power / static friction are apparently the same thing but for me it isnt, yes independent from digging into mousepad
boardzy said that the MID feels slower than soft/xsoft on this pad and you said its faster, now im confused which to buy 🥴
I think mouse skates also plays a part on the feel so that's why they might have different opinions

I put 5 years into the QcK Heavy, the soft is literally a QcK Heavy with ultimate consistency.
@@JtwasLuck cheers mate. I'll give the soft a shot
@@dodger3294 No problem, its definitely the closest =D
I agree with @JtwasLuck, the soft feels the closest but it's really not the same base. The QcK Heavy is deffo in between mid and soft from Artisan
Oh 100%, the thing is mid is only 3mm and its much harder so soft is closer to being in the mid/soft hardness. BTW, your review is by far the best one out on the Type99.
Great video. Would you recommend the mid version at all? I heard it should be more consistent but some people mentioned it sucks so idk
it's preference. I'm kinda torn rn cause i feel like soft is too slow for me, i'll try a matcha mid which is apparently a bit slower
did u try?

Which has the most static friction, the original Rizz or the Rizz Nachocustoms?
Rizz with black logo( old version) is slower and new logo in white is faster

Is that razer deathadder mini ???
nope its v2
What sens do you play with ? You said you play with low sens, just wonder thanks
0.8 800 dpi / 0.4 1600dpi
Nice to see a good CS player reviewing this. What’s your in-game sens and DPI?
on the vid 800dpi .75 in game
Is that a Deathadder Elite?
v2
why use bungie cord if you have all that extra cord still on the mat
cause at least the weight doesn't tuck on it from behind (very sus comment)
This one or Jupiter Pro?
jupiter pro might be easier to find, it's way slower than type99 tho
hello what u recomend for cs 2
t99 soft
i played with steelseries qck heavy for a long time u think is a good upgrade?
Hayate Otsu forever
if i had the skills
why otsu not hien¿
Which hardness for cs2
If u dont know ur preference just get a soft.
I got this pad and sadly i prefer the qck heavy way more
Why? I’m just curious
The qck is not made of polyester don't know why you would compare those 2
