Yes obviously, this is what happens when you over correct (in my opinion should been left alone). This is what happened with Aunt Jemima too. Destroy art and history instead of acknowledging and preserving it with result in repeated mistakes and tainted history.
There were many characters that should have been included from Disney's animation studio (not pixar). But I was happy with the animation nonetheless. It took me back to the days of the House of Mouse
Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, Br'er Bear, Br'er Frog, and Mr. Bluebird from Song of the South, Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Baby Herman, Benny the Cab, and The Toon Patrol from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Coachman and Lampwick from Pinocchio, Mr. Stork and The Crows from Dumbo, The Aracuan Bird from The Three Caballeros, The Indian Chief and Tiger Lily from Peter Pan, Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp, The Vultures from The Jungle Book, Trigger and Nutzy from Robin Hood, Captain Gantu and Cobra Bubbles from Lilo & Stitch.
Brave and UP are Pixar movies. The Once Upon a Studio was only focusing on characters from the Walt Disney Animation Studios, so that's why they aren't included. Most of the Enchanted was in the modern world. Except for the first 10-20mins of the movie
I bet this is the reason why the old ride splash Mountain was tear down and remodel a bit both in Disneyland and Disney World and replaced by the new princess and the frog ride.
I’d rather have them re-theme it with the cast of *What’s Happening* then what they’re doing to it now. Br’er Bear could easily be reskinned into Rerun.
He ain’t the only one the characters from the brave little toaster, the wild, valiant, and planes are missing. Hopefully Disney can include them in the short one of these days and be part of the group photo too
@@PrincessofEllabur still though in a way it should count since Disney helped create the movies and worked with them in making the brave little toaster, it should get some more love and recognition for being a great (sort of Disney) animated movie
How is “br’er” different from “bruh” or “brah” or “bro” which emanates from practically every American male mouth these days with the frequency their young female counterparts say the word “like”?
Maybe it has something to do with portraying black slaves as happy go-lucky people who are happy to be owned by their oppressors and despite the movie being set after the civil war, in reality, the abuse of black people did not end. Some of them had nowhere to go so they stayed on the planations where they had no choice but to keep working for their opressors who continued to abuse them. Slavery was not just about forced labor, it was about brainwashing black people into being submisive and making them believe that their lives are not their own. And if you're okay with watching a movie that turns one of the most horrific events in history into a comedy musical than there's something wrong with you.

Thanks for commenting
Mrs. Jumbo is also missing and it's not good for me. Dumbo is much cuter with his mother in my opinion.
The fact that I didn’t even know that Br’er Rabbit existed until watching this video makes him criminally underrated
Mufassa was not there as well! :(
Oops I meant Mufasa*
@MixelsYesBFBNo4585so are most of the villains
Good catch
Because he's dead
And Zazu and Dopey,
There were many characters that should have been included from Disney's animation studio (not pixar). But I was happy with the animation nonetheless. It took me back to the days of the House of Mouse
House of Mouse!
I love House of Mouse!
Man i love my childhood
What’s your favoritep character?
@@LegacyofFolktales ITS Jim Hawkins
Pixar characters didn't appear because the focus was soley on Walt Disney animated Studio Characters, so ... they were excluded.
That makes sense. Thank you
It bugs me how neither Casey Jr or Herbie made the cut but the little blue car did.
They definitely missed some

Don’t forget Tamatoa from Moana.
@@NZ_BraveHeart_0120 Oh yes!
They also left out characters from Brave, Enchanted and Up
Great catch

Man I looked everywhere, and I think they forgot my boy, Jack Skellington as well😢
Yup! He’s not in there
The Nightmare Before Christmas was animated by a second party, that's why it's not included
What About Inside Out And Kenai And Koda From Brother Bear
All good catches. Did they leave Pixar out?
@@LegacyofFolktales yes they left Pixar characters out because the short was only on Walt disney animation Studio characters only
Max Goof
Goofy
But wait. What about Mr Flaversham? The father of Olivia Flaversham?
Tell me more. Tell me more
@@LegacyofFolktales Hmm... Oh yeah. I think Disney forgot Felicia the cat.
Isn’t the rabbit an allegory of people of that time? Kinda okay with that being missing.
Working on a video that digs deeper into that. ❤️❤️❤️
I bet this is the reason why the old ride splash Mountain was tear down and remodel a bit both in Disneyland and Disney World and replaced by the new princess and the frog ride.
Just released a video about Bret rabbit and we touch on splash mountain at Disneyland and Disney world
Pixar characters didnt apper either
Well if you look at whats happening to splash mountain in Disney
I’d rather have them re-theme it with the cast of *What’s Happening* then what they’re doing to it now. Br’er Bear could easily be reskinned into Rerun.
Disney made a mistake with his interpretation of Brer Rabbit - company still paying for it today
He ain’t the only one the characters from the brave little toaster, the wild, valiant, and planes are missing. Hopefully Disney can include them in the short one of these days and be part of the group photo too
Thanks for mentioning these folks
Brave Little Toaster isn't an actually Disney movie. and disney doesn't techainlly own the other 2 movies either.
@@PrincessofEllabur still though in a way it should count since Disney helped create the movies and worked with them in making the brave little toaster, it should get some more love and recognition for being a great (sort of Disney) animated movie
Brave cast missing. Also Wall-e
They're Pixar characters
Merida was not there
She's Pixar
Yea. Lots of Pixar characters aren’t there
@@LegacyofFolktales and the Photo was ONLY for Walt Disney Animation Studio characters only!
Brer rabbit and the Tar baby?
Gee i wonder WHY he was cut?:/
Blacks are still insecure about their race to this day.
There are other Brer Rabbit stories than just the Tar Baby
I love Brer Rabbit. I honestly do not understand how it is racist. :(
Hoping our channel can add some context - working on more videos.
