that is one of these KONE cab designs they brought up in the late 90s and built it mostly as a way to modernize an old cab up until 2005 or so. The cab illumination is something you wont get to see every day.

There aren't many inner door less elevators in Europe as many of them have been retrofitted with an inner door due to safety reason. If you visit Greece, you'll be happy as it has loads of old elevators still without inner doors!
