- (May 2022) I have seen some bad elevators but this one just sucks. COP pieced together. Runs pretty bad. This elevator is an example of one that needs a mod.

It's only that motor that is cool, but that elevator really needs help, especially since it's low on oil at the S level.
It's not low. It's been doing that for a long time, just not at that magnitude. This is poor maintenance.

Very bad condition. 0:31 here in the UK all hydraulic lifts/elevators start up like that lol, your hydraulics seem to start up a lot smoother

Oh lovely!! This Elevator is so nice, NOT AT ALL! (This SchindlerHaughton needs a modernization badly! As much as the buttons are cool, the motor sounds nice going up, but doesn’t run so great though, etc. )

This is the worst elevator in Chicago for sure. But there are a lot worse elevators than this. Also, the floor things are backwards on the panel. Even that chime sounds horrible. They need to seriously replace this thing. It's not going to last much longer.

It’s not, it’s just poorly maintained. It did this when I rode this in March of 2022 and got way worse when Andrew filmed this.

I dislike this elevator it bumps everytime it operates and the elevator itself is super crappy. I highly recommend do not retake this. This elevator is of our list and it will not be missed

Yep, I live here and I can confirm especially as a traffic control aide, this place is a safety hazard. And yeah, don't come near this elevator unless you absolutely have to just to board the Metra.
