Rules Update:
The ice token can only be removed if a card that is drawn says so. It cannot be replaced with a fire token. Also, the iced pawn cannot be bumped back to start, so if a pawn lands on it by exact count you will have to move another pawn.
You can send a pawn with a fire token back to start.

I came to this video because I could not find the paper instructions for this game. I love the explenations. you make it super simple. And I like your review and thoughts of the game. I would love to see more videos on more common games that you could find at a Walmart or target. Or "games everyone has been playing wrong" most of your videos are on games i have never heard of before. but! keep up the good work!!!

what happens when you draw an ice, and its already on your opponent and its the only peg on the board. every other peg is either in start, safe zone, or start. does the ice go back to the middle or stay on the opponent? there alot of loop wholes... and not clear
After spending 10 bucks for an original Sorry I found another nice copy at goodwill for 1.99. I bought it too.And yes I will be seeking the fire and ice version.
Board Game Museum What happens if you draw a fire or ice card and the tokens are already In play?
Last January I bought my game of Sorry at a store in downtown P.O.S. to play, but it was a little difficult and confusing. With the help of the RUclips video clips with these Sorry games with one exactly I what I have, I followed it to help me understand how to play it and so I had practiced. But the only thing that is still confusing me is when you land your pawn with the fire token onto the fire is to make extra moves which I am still not certain of. And hopefully I'll get over with that problem to be able to know all of how to play that game.
I've had a lot of people ask that question and the rules are Vague on it. I would imagine that it gets replaced.
TWO RULES NOT MENTIONED IN THE GAME:
1) Can the Fire Token be taken from a player, if that player is in his Safety Zone?
2) Can a player place an Ice Token on a player with the Fire Token; and vice versa?
In question 1 the answer is yes and no ice may not go over fire

your playing wrong the game instruction sheet says "shuffle the deck and deal five cards face down to each player. place the rest of the deck in the center of the board.
On your turn,select one card from your hand and move according to the instructions. discard it and draw a new card to bring your hand back up to five cards."
I stand corrected on the back page it gives variations of the game which includes classic and strategic

I have played the original Sorry game so I am able to follow the basic rules except Fire and Ice. .
Please explain what happens if another player has the Fire token, what happens if I also pick up a card that say I should move the Fire token? When does the token go back to the centre?
What happens when I also pick up an Ice token if another player already has it. When does it go back to the centre? The instructions are vague and not clear.
Take the other player's fire/ice powerup.
you should remake this video explaining exactly how the power ups work with mock gameplay. Lots of how to vids on this version but none are really useful.Most made by kids. I think I understand it. My only other question is once a fire token is placed on a pawn does it remain until game ends or what removes it? If yu make it home with fire do you remove it?
Board Game Museum Theres lots of vids. All are stupid and childish. No body understands the powerups. I am going to Wally and get this for 8.77. I believe it will be fun once you understand how it works. Its really getting a lot of bad reviews comparing to the original version.
Board Game Museum Hey I just noticed something puzzleing on my original board. On each side there are 2 slides.One clearly has 5 spaces. The other has 4 then a small arrow at the end. If you slide do you land on the arrow?

So if you freeze someone with the ice power, do they lose a round until someone else gets the ice or do they leave the pawn frozen and get a new one from start?
Say I go around the map and I’m green and I’m coming back around the corner about to go into my home and I land on the black arrow of the slide. Do I have to slide or can I just stay there and keep going into the safe zone?

Do you know what the card "move 7 or split between two pawns" mean? And the slide on the sides? Sorry just bought for my kids and trying to figure out how to play it

The answer might be obvious for you, but are you allowed to help your opponent by placing an ice token on yourself or give their pawns a fire token?

If I draw the 10 forward or 1 backward card and I can't move forward 10, do I have to move backward 10? And also can I choose to move backward 1 if I don't want to move forward 10?

Do the slide rules still apply as the original game. Can you knock the opponent off with fire. I know you said ice cannot be knocked off.

When you land on a slide and it's your color are you allowed to slide or not? And if someone is on the slide do they go back to start. Except for the Ice ring of course.

Agreed. The fire-ice thing is too much to remember when you're so used to the original. I like having four pawns and being required to draw 1 or 2 to exit the start space. I bought the new version at a garage sale completely unaware of these changes. :(
