I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss as well as the new MSFS a320 NEO. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

There she is! The cat's face reveal!!
... and 320 Sim Pilot, you good bud? You sound a bit under the weather or stressed out or something along those lines. Get well soon, mate!
Thanks Guru, indeed the FO makes herself available every now and then for a video! All is well here, thanks for the thought, it was an early start the day I recorded the audio!
that's absolutely gorgeous
I recommend MonsterTech desk mount for it. You can customize height of whole setup if You buy long version.
Totally agree. I have monstertech chair, thrustmaster base and Airbus stick (from another manufacturer tho). Very convenient and feels awesome.
Sadly I only recently purchased my x56 Hotas but this product does look superb and if I was in the market I'd definitely be considering this for sure.
Good work thanks capt we appreciate your effort.
Much appreciated!
I bought it and I don't regret it. Sooo nice. Finally a real Sidestick. Not this wannabe Thrustmaster stuff...
I finally got to try it today with the Super Libra base and monstertech desk mount. And...wow. The level of immersion suddenly took a whole new dimension. Coming from the TM TCA - and knowing first hand what a real airbus stick feels like - this is it! Really glad I picked one up and really highly recommend it if it's in the budget. Just remember, you'll definitely need a mount.
Hello Guillaume, you who own the winwing joystick, can you confirm that the Chinese hat is identical to the trackir to see everything around you ...? thank you
Hi@@denisremon4292, I'm not sure I understand your question... The hat switch can be mapped to different views (for instance to look left or right). TrackIR is something else entirely as it's meant to track your head movement. Short answer, the hat switch can be used to look around when you press it in the direction you want 😊
@@guillaume_69 Thank you for your quick response Guillaume, I am French and maybe a little translation problem ... I don't have a trackir and don't want one, the Chinese hat that you can remove or not elsewhere, a the same role as the trakir, ie making it easy to see everything around you ...?
When are you going to do a review on it? I’ve been considering getting it but there aren’t any reviews anywhere else. It would really great if you could! Thanks!
MAN, I wish i had that, the a320 is my favourite plane and its also the only plane i fly in simulators
Same here, but I have to fly with the mouse 😒
@@CaptainJadenAR pity, I use a simple joystick, it is hard to fly with a mouse so I am impressed
@@Pilot-2020, At least you have a joystick. I don’t
@@CaptainJadenAR yeah, but im impressed that you can fly a plane with a mouse:)
@@Pilot-2020, :). Using mouse to takeoff is easy. But landing is too difficult. Today I did a flight from EGLL to EHAM. It was so hard to flare. Because my mouse is soft to move.
Thanks, nice review. I also quite loved the cameo! I maintain: all unboxing videos should contain cats. :)
Cant believe they just abandoned this. I ended up getting the FS Projects side stick….which is amazing. However, I would have actually preferred to have the hat switch
@320 Sim Pilot Woud you reccomend this over the FSProjects grip+Warthog? Also, would you say the Super Libra base is better than their latest Orion2 base? How would the two or three joysticks compare, and then fair up vs the real Airbus stick?
Any upcoming streams? I miss them.
Looks great
Thanks for watching Dg!
2 years, and still havent found this available
I've got an Airbus pilot friend who's always been put off getting into flight simming because he says nothing comes close to the real Airbus joystick, would be interested to see if this could tempt him.
I have heard few real life pilots said that Hotas is quite close to real one. Of course its lacking the dampening when realisng your hand from it but stiffness is close.
Just got mine today - with the Libra base, not the Orion. Really impressive. I also have a Thrustmaster TCA and there's no comparison here. The TCA feels like a toy compared to the Winwing. What you'd expect for the price difference. Spent some time in an A320 FFS and this really has the exact same look and most importantly feel . I need a mount so I can test it properly.
@@guillaume_69 I’m waiting for mine Do I need to adjust anything ???? I can’t wait. Should be here in Monday. I hate taking things part. I never get them back the same.
Thanks.
Alfmags
@@alfmags9078 it comes with different springs and cams but I find the default quite nice, so no need to change. You only have to plug the connector and rotate the black ring on the base so it secures the handle in place (don't rotate the handle ;)). I didn't see a hat switch like in the video, perhaps it was an optional accessory? I am waiting for my desk mount as it's not usable on top of the desk (too high, unstable). Good luck and let me know if you need any help!
@@guillaume_69 thank you my friend will do. I’m hoping to have a flight with it soon. I’ll text you back. Thanx
Which is more realistic this or the Bruner ??
Where's the full review
I wonder if there are any plans for WW to make a FO stick?
They should at least make just the handle for people to swap the components over.
Are you going to try it in your future streams?
Looks really good. In noob terms, how do the bases differ? Would you recommend one over the other? A bit off topic sorry.
Just got my a3xx side stick. Going to try a flight today. Has a nice feel. Anyone get it yet. I’m having an issues with the pov hat nut working
Make sure you calibrate it, it’s the ‘mini’ joystick in the calibration tool!
@@320SimPilot I’ll go back and look. When you got your was there pov hat assembled ?? I had to change to it.
Sim Capt. love the channel. I’ve learned a lot. I’m a Boeing guy but you are converting me to Airbus. I just bought this side stick. How’s the feel?? Is it near the real thing ?? I can’t wait for mine.
Again thanks
Alfmags
I think this sidestick have better quality than the ThrustMaster One.
well yeah this one is $179 for the grip alone
the full stick is over 300
@@Sukkulents_, Aye. Too expensive in AED
That’s a steal. I pick it up!
This one costs 3 times as much.
Absolutely no comparison. Real thing vs toy feeling. But hey I expected no less given price and also winwing excellent hotas product line.
do you think they will bring out a FO variant sometime? looks really good tbh, but I would prefer a right hand stick
hello, thank you very much for your interesting and informative video ... I am under mfs 2020 and x-plane 11, not having a trackir and not wanting one, I would like to know if the Chinese hat of the joystick is comfortable and totally usable in multidirectional view ...? In my opinion, it would be good for the big brands such as virpil, vkb and winwing to finally decide to embark on civil aviation joysticks like this one ...
Question for 320 Sim Pilot and other bus drivers: are the sticks mounted slightly angled or straight? Did some time in A320 sim but can't remember. I'd imagine straight?
They are slightly angled
Are you familiar with airline tools A320
I bought an airbus bellow and easily stretched it over my other airbus flightstick
Did you tried the difference between the super libra vs Orion base? im having trouble selecting between these two bases
Man this is perfectly. Now we just need a throttle quadrant that feels and looks similar to the airbuses. Not that plastic toy feeling one that thrustmaster has.
ThrustMaster is good but this is better
I have the Honeycomb Bravo with the Airbus pack and it's really good
the Purrst Officer
I'm offering a free version of this stick to 3d print and assemble yourself that fits onto a Thrustmaster Couger, Warthog or a Virpil base.
Do you have a link to the stl? I have the warthog and I’m really interested
Fuck and i just bought the thrustmaster tca a month ago
Would you recommend this one or the TCA airbus one?
2:30 So only Treble... no Bass...
how hard is the transition from FO right-hand flying to Cpt left-hand flying? i would guess it's not marginal because there's surely a lot of muscle memory going on
I switch back and forth because of chemo drug pain in my hands. Its not that difficult. Grips don't fit the opposite hand very well of course, but with so few buttons on this, not much to remember.
@@tedburg6042 hope you are doing ok buddy
Your first flying lessons will be left handed. Negligible muscle memory
how does the base compare to VKBsim gunfighter?
Is this stick interoperable with the Fenix A320?
I have airbus sidestick grip for hotas magnetic base. How would you compare that to hotas? Which one feels more close to real sidestick??
Hi Jony, I do not know which sidestick you mean, do you have a link?
How much ?
180$
@@the-aviator ouch
That’s only for the grip, the whole thing is $340.
@@PaulBuffano91 I’ll stick my the thrust master haha
@@CMBelite-FR Same. You also don’t get any buttons besides the trigger and AP disconnect with this stick.
You kinda sound like Elon musk😅
180 dollars for a piece of plastic without a base. how is this a good deal? lol
The real one is made of plastic :) Then again there is plastic and plastic. This feels as high grade as you can get for a prosumer product. I also have a thrustmaster warthog stick which is metal, and I would put the quality of the A3xx on par with it.
@@guillaume_69 is there a big difference between these two joysticks? Im deciding which one to get
Hi@@karl-yi4ir, if you're serious about simming I'd say the winwing is worth the price. Gives you the authentic feel and the precision over the TCA is simply not in the same league. It definitely adds to the immersion level, especially if you fly the fbw a320 or the study level airbus in xplanes. Also, if you are considering flying military planes in DCS you can add another joystick to the same base. If you're a casual simmer the TCA is fine and the right price point.
@@guillaume_69 thank you
