- Join me as I photograph urban foxes in London and share my tips on how to get the best possible photos without using flash or bait! Excuse the iPhone video quality when speaking to the camera, doing this at night poses a bit of a challenge when I don't officially have a proper camera to vlog with.

Great images of the urban foxes, Olly and really useful tips you have shared too. I’m really enjoying your videos keep up the good work that you bring to us.
Thanks John! I’m glad you found it useful, will be doing my best to start putting some more videos out this year!
Superb image of the fox at the end 👍
Thank you! Definitely my best one of foxes at night yet!
I love foxes, and over the years I have played with both camera trapping and directly photographing them. I can relate to your comment regarding the police. On two occasions I have been approached, and both times the officers were great, we had a good chat about urban foxes and I got some good location tips as well.
Ah that’s really cool that they engaged with you on it and what a bonus to get some locations from them!
Excellent, well done! That really was the icing on the cake at the end, wasn't it?! (I wish rural foxes were as numerous and more confiding.) Thoroughly enjoyed this one and your tips were brilliant. Thank you.
Thank you! Absolutely, I couldn’t believe the fox just sat exactly where I wanted and stared at me! Yes rural foxes are much more of a challenge but it’s even more special when you get to see them :) glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the comment.
Wow Olly such a great video and with beautiful images too, thanks for all those tips, loved how you put all this wonderful vlog together, well done 👏
Thanks Raymond, I’m glad you enjoyed it even though it was a slightly different style to usual!
We don't have fox running around in the city where I live, but I do love to go out and do some night time street photography. We have a really cool historic downtown area. I am eager to get out with my new setup this week. I got a 5D iv and a Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 G2. I took a shot last evening and it got me excited about a little night time walk about. Thanks for sharing your adventure with me!
That sounds great! f2.8 is the key, I hope you manage to get some cool shots!
I saw one at Palmers lodge near Swiss Market station a few weeks ago! It was so cool
Nice, there are so many about, awesome to see them in a city!
Great video Olly beautiful pictures of the foxes and really good tips 😊
Thanks John, I’m glad you found it useful!
Lovely video, thank you 👍

Thanks Tel, hope you found them useful and thanks for the comment as well
Hey Olly! Great tips, I am new to London and want to try my hand at photographing urban foxes. I managed to get some shots, but am not super happy with them. I was wondering if you want to link up for a shoot together
Hey Mark, where abouts are you based? I’m in and out of London a bit at the moment so might be tricky depending on location especially if you’re thinking night time photography but happy to see if we can figure something out or I can try to give you some more tips if you’d like!
@@wildlifewitholly Hey Olly, I currently stay in West London, but I can accommodate you!
