Thank you for taking us along and sharing this great trip and photos! I really enjoy your trips to take photos. I’m looking forward to seeing more photos of when you come here. Be well and many thanks again showing us these amazing photos!👍🏻
Never feel bad about sharing locations, it’s not the person you tell but the 20 they tell and so on, it’s happened to me in the past. Lovely video and photos of some brilliant species.
Nice vlog. Richmond Park was my old stamping ground as a child many years ago now. Nice to see it again. The Butterfly was a Gatekeeper I think. 2 small dots in the black spot on thefore, underwing. Meadow Brown only has 1.
Nice to "bump into you" on here as well as Instagram. Great video, and I think my fave shots are the same as the ones you like. Looks like you had an amazing day and I love your ethos on locations and the welfare of animals - well done. One happy new subscriber 👍
Beautiful Little Owl and kestrel images Olly, its amazing that when your in Richmond Park and similar Bushy Park your actually still in London, thanks for sharing this wonderful video 😊
Hi Olly A very enjoyable video from you. A lovely location too, one that I know well …. apart from the location of Little Owls! It is difficult to believe that you are in central London when you spend a day in Richmond Park. You are spot on regarding “location sharing”. We all have a responsibility to be careful to avoid disturbance to wildlife or worse. Richard
Good vlog Olly, I would consider Richmond Park as a sort of intersection between wild and captive subjects. But a great space for the urban inhabitant to get closer to nature!
Thank you! Agreed, I usually don’t photograph the deer there but as I was doing a video I felt I should spend a bit of time with them! The kestrel and owls were highlights for me :)
Finally i have upgraded from my 7D mkii and 300mm prime , I have got the R6mkii and the R7 along with the 100-500 RF 200-800RF 100RF Macro ,My better half often pops along to Bushy park with the R7 and the 100-400 EF whilst visiting family , Were of out with the cameras back home in West Oxfordshire this bank holiday weekend , Keep up the great vlogs Olly
Sounds like a pretty good set up! I’m tempted by the 100-500 RF for daytime photography but I’ll see if I can get a good one second hand to make it a bit cheaper! Thanks again :)
Lovely images 😊 i just found your channel and subbed, awesome content 😀 I'm curious, are you using the Canon EF 300mm f2.8L v1 or v2? Was thinking of swapping over to one 😊
Excellent that you don't share wildlife locations. Far too many people with cameras just rely on others to find subjects for them. In my experience it is often these sort of people who will do anything to get an image, often to the detriment of the animal. Fortunately, they are also the sort who soon lose interest in a hobby and will move on to the next trend. They are also quite recognizable by the fact that they nearly always talk about equipment! 🙄 Some really nice images here. It's quite amazing how approachable a lot of wildlife is in these parks and they certainly give you plenty of opportunities to capture good pictures. Best wishes.
Excellent watch.
Thanks!

Tidy footage Olly and some quality still images to complement your day out.

Talk less and take more photographs, you're good at it. 😊
Thank you! I managed to get lots of photos in this one but unfortunately it’s not always possible!
