    I know Greg is the main character but now rewatching this as a adult, i never realized that Greg is a sociopath and rowley’s anger towards him is rightfully Justified and understandable. Greg pretty much deserved this until he finally redeemed himself

      I read this one doawk fan work set after dog days. Where Greg and rowley were talking about their friendship, Greg asking why he stayed with him, rowley saying why and Greg saying “you know I always thought I was the one who was going to fix you. But in reality you fixed me.”
      It was called “diary of a wimpy kid: without the wimp” and has the plot of eighth grade and talked about holly being friends with both greg and Patty

    My favorite part about this scene is how suddle the acting is. Rowley is more hurt than angry. He's not yelling or blowing up. He's quiet and calm. His portrayal of the scene is just so good.

    As a kid I thought Rowley was being kinda mean to Greg. As an adult, and having experienced friendships like Rowley's, he said absolutely nothing wrong. You don't get to betray someone's trust, hurt them, or walk all over them and resume the relationship as normal.

    I feel Like Greg was more Understandable in this Movie. His Goal wasn’t to treat him like a Punching bag to take out his frustration with Rodrick, but it was to make change Rowley so they could be popular together. He realizes this throughout the film, and that’s what I think makes it so good.
