Hi Johanna, you can use any meat of your choice. I have a recipe where a shredded some beef and added it. The link is below for your convenience. Instead of the shrimps and fish, prepare the beef like I did in the video below and add it. As that is fried too you will get the same outcome. Hope this helps. It was splatter-free, I also used less oil, it was equally as flavorful as making it the long way. The shito was done and ready by the time the waakye was cooked. I wish I could send you a picture. You can use just fish (dried herrings) powder instead. Usually we use shrimp and herrings powder for shito but you can just omit the shrimps and use just the herrings powder. Hope this helps.thanks for watching🙏🏾

You can eat it with Eba with some fried fish or meat, Amala, eat it with plain rice, jollof rice, fried rice, fried/boiled yam, fried potatoes, sprinkle a little water on gari to make it dump and mix the it with some shito, add sardines, mackerel or corned beef. thank you 🙏

I am happy to report that I attempted your method today and it was, as you stated, the easiest method of making shito. It was splatter-free, I also used less oil, it was equally as flavorful as making it the long way. The shito was done and ready by the time the waakye was cooked. I wish I could send you a picture. You can use just fish (dried herrings) powder instead. Usually we use shrimp and herrings powder for shito but you can just omit the shrimps and use just the herrings powder. Hope this helps.thanks for watching🙏🏾

You can eat it with Eba with some fried fish or meat, Amala, eat it with plain rice, jollof rice, fried rice, fried/boiled yam, fried potatoes, sprinkle a little water on gari to make it dump and mix the it with some shito, add sardines, mackerel or corned beef. thank you 🙏
