Thanks for the great review of our new JBuds Air ANC! We loved watching and appreciate the feedback. Yes, there is no trackback touch control and this is because there are only so many combinations of touch functions that we could put in these powerful earbuds. The long-press and hold that in other models will take you back a track is now used to switch between ANC ON/OFF and Be Aware Mode. Again, solid review @JDubb!

Just to let you guys know Jlab has an app where you can chane the settings of the earbuds. And in that app, you can change one of the earbuds to reverse track. I have this app on my phone and I switched one of the controls in the left earbud to reverse track.
I've owned mines for about a year now and that charging extension definitely comes in handy! ❤

When I'm charging the case with the buds inside does it charge both at the same time? because I'm not seeing the pulsing blue lights when it's plugged in only the white ones
Just got them and love them.I had the go air pro to start with.Only issue I have is on the go air pro when you adjusted volume and sound you would get a voice telling you what you have done.With the airbuds anc I don’t get a voice so I don’t know what settings I’m on.I’m I doing anything wrong?

How do they compare with the Taotronics Soundliberty 94 and the Tozo NC9?
I'm not sure is someone has asked, but how is the in call sound for the person you would be calling. I have the air icons and on my end they sounded great but the people I would be talking to said there's a lot of background noise. Is that fixed with these ones with the active noise cancellation?

Straightforward and thorough as always! I've always been a fan of Jlab stuff since the sound is really great. I am set on getting Jlab wireless buds but I'm not sure which to get. Would this be the best one to get as of today?
I think so yeah. At this point for the price, if you want ANC and all the other awesomeness of the JBuds Air line... this is the way to go

How do these compare to the SP800N? They are currently on sale for $99. However, I heard that the SP800N ANC was almost nonexistent. ANC is mostly the feature I am looking for without breaking the bank.
If ANC is what you are after these do a great job and I personally enjoy the sound on these as well so it's a win win
I have both the Epic Air ANC and the JBuds ANC and after using both reguarly for the past 2 weeks, I came to the conclusion that the JBuds ANC, in my opinion, sounds better, gets louder than, and actually has better ANC performance due to sealing off more of the ear canal, than the Epic Air ANC. The Epic has customizable settings which I dont need, the default controls and JLab signature EQ is good enough and I dont particular care about ear detect or wireless charging, due to the attached USB cable, so at there current price point of $99 and $69, I think the JBuds are the better buy.

I actually purchased these earbuds and just received them and then I was looking for a review to find out more and I came across yours and it's very thorough I appreciate it I wonder if you could tell me if there is any way to figure out the app for this particular earbud model. I did download the app and I was actually able to change some of the controls and configurations on the app but then when I went back to open it up again the next time I use the earbuds it keeps telling me to connect the device and when I open it they're already connected and I just can't figure out what the hell the problem is. If you could help it would really be appreciated thank you

These vs. Galaxy buds plus? I can get the buds plus for roughly $20 more but they dont have ANC. Which would you suggest?
Personally I would say that's one of the main features that you have to decide on if it's worth it or not. I'm not a fan of the Galaxy products myself, and I've used a lot of JLab products and have been very happy. So if I was going to do this I would honestly save myself $20 get something that has great quality and active noise cancellation.

I just got these today for my birthday I'm using them with my Nintendo switch the sound quality is top notch the noise cancelling funny story I missed my brother's Amazon parcel even though the delivery guy was banging on the door I couldn't hear

Great and thorough review! Glad to see you back! Question: How do the size of the Air ANC's compare with the Air Icons?? At some angles the earbuds seem to be identical in size, but in other angles they seem to be the size of the newer Air Go's.

They fit very similar

@@JDubb you’re welcome. I learned a lot from your channel. However need your suggestion, even with the cloud foam tips and the rings around the earbuds they still fall off. More so the left one. What should I do at this point? Aside from that they’re great!
Beautiful commentary but I have problems talking on the phone, people say they can’t hear me it seems only to work on be aware mode and even then they say the volume is extra low
anc on this earbuds is as good as the sony wf 1000xm4 cus i tried them both .. it just a haie difference between the xm4 and jbuds air anc..

Neither can compare to Sony they are a premium pair vs a budget pair. These will do well enough but not comparable

Once the eq is properly adjusted, it actually sounds good, but i think that for people who do not know how to properly change the eq, or do not feel like searching for the best settings. It is a BIG disadvantage and is not worth purchasing. The eq and the sound quality can be good for the air anc, but many people cannot properly adjust the sound to get good comprehensive quality, or do not know how to. Also, the original eq settings are REALLY BAD!
Jlabs are definitely the king of their price range.

I'm pretty sure they're good as the jlab epic air, also you can patiently wait for el jefe reviews to make a vid on jbuds air anc, he has everything down, from complete honesty, to phone call quality.
Phone calls are solid, no issues to speak of
As a percentage how good is the anc compared to the airpods pro?
Not sure, but it does get at least 75-80% sound out
hmmmm the ANC on the Airpods pro is honestly about the same, but you pay a lot more for them
I'd say around 70% no earbuds as far as I am concerned at this point can do much better

The earbuds body are to big for my ears. So I have to return them. I wish they will make a smaller model of these.
That is one common issue for some for sure.
Mine aren’t turning on. There’s no button.
Press and hold on the touch pad and they should if not, reach out to their support team for help

Well technically probably yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. They aren't THAT water resistant to be comfortable with water shower spray
