I think this cable is better than a soldered in usb port. I have had so many phones and b/t speakers usb ports come loose. I have only just bought the airs, but they are mint. Great sound for something so small. Pretty comfy. I did an unplanned range test yesterday, i left my phone in my kitchen and walked out to my detached garage (20 meters away) with my airs playing, signal dropped out for a split second when i was at the back of the garage turning my drier on. But came back fine whilst sorting out some tools. (There were 2 solid brick walls between my phone and my Jlabs!!)
I just bought these for my dad's birthday... I'll give it to him when he gets back from work Edit: He actually liked them the only complaint from him was they were a little bit heavy in HIS ears (when I tried them they were okay) but other than that he said that these are really good quality headphones
My Air's just broke and I loved those and was debating on what to get next, now I know what. Love the fact they did those updates to make an even better pair of wireless headphones.
I'm glad to see the improvements made but I wasn't crazy about the sound of the first model so if these sound the same, I'll pass and get the Creative Outliers you reviewed. Great video as always.
I just bought these and they are amazing but I think my ears are to small for them. Idk right now I’m messing with the sizing and all. These are really amazing though!! Edit: I ended up returning them because my ears were to small. They fell out when I was running and it was just annoying. These have amazing features and good quality!! Still worth the money.
The built-in charging cable was nothing more than a cost saving measure, not an end-user convenience. They saved production costs not only by eliminating the need for a USB connector on the charging case by hardwiring the (very short!) built-in cable to the device's circuit board, but also, by eliminating the need to supply a proper full length charging cable with the product. A Win-Win for the manufacturer, but the end-user will most likely want to buy a female-to-male USB extension cable to make it a reasonable length. And as Gamesky mentioned in the review, if anything happens to the tiny cable's connection to the charging case, the Jbuds will become non-rechargeable and useless.
Agreed, it is way too short, not to mention it's a dealbreaker if you are willing to invest in a full-on USB Type C (I mean USB PD, not just Type C to Type A). I'd prefer having a USB Type C port especially if it supports PD, even if that costs more to make.
All the TWS earbuds either had sound/ controls/old BT/design and ergonomics/case/price issues that stopped me from buying them. Seems like I finally found something that is suitable for me.

I had the first one, they are great and I really love the signature, but then I I got an email a week later from them that a 2nd version was coming with 3hrs more, so I return them immediately to Best Buy. Can wait to get this again.
I got them today for £20 which is $26 and after fitting their own foam tips I can say they’re blasting, without foam they sounded no bass no sound because no good isolation. So, be careful what tips you’re using ladies n gents coz that’s a first to hear them at full potential! For my medium ear I guess I forgot about them, do fit good. Compared to my IEMS pretty good overall. It’s so much easy to get the right thing nowadays due to online RUclips reviews lol. Cheers
You answered the question I had about being able to take calls with either earbud... With the original ones I was about to take a shower with them in, and I work outside and was caught in the rain and they still worked perfect with no problem... So I'm pretty sure you can do the same with these as far as water resistant goes or am I wrong...

Very cool....I've had the originals and used them probably daily for about 5 mths.....I really like them and now seeing that they've fixed the issues I had with mine makes me wanna spring for these and use my originals as a backup....One thing I didnt hear you mention is the increased battery life!

It really depends. I use two of the bands to keep them in my ears while dancing, and they do stay in. However, I'm always adjusting them because they feel like they're about to fall out. Super durable though, I dropped one in the toilet and it didn't affect it at all
I actually have these earbuds, unfortunately the right earbuds didn't pair to my bluetooth. I had to return them and got another pair and it works flawlessly. Great review as always..
Sabbat E12's blow it out of the competition but if you don't wanna fork over $100. Then these are the perfect alternative to get and they sound really great. Use the cloud foam tips.
I’m sorry but I think these could be way better. They are just way too low on volume and it does terrible at noise isolation. If you are into loud volume, do not get these because they are just too quiet in my opinion
I wanted to update my Jlab earbuds to this version but since the ANC just came out and on sale for $36 omg it’s a huge upgrade the Battery last last you all day no need to recharge like the old version only last 3 hours .
My verdict on my icons air.. Sound: ok.. Like your typical wired earbuds included in the box Mic: ok like your typical included in the box wired earbuds Fit: excellent.. Battery: excellent.. Plus the earbuds charge fast Connection: flawless..
I should understand that the mic test sounds bad is because i constantly listening to a recording mic for the majority time of the video. that becomes an unintended comparison to the mic quality.
I’m not trying to bash a product or promote negative comments... but I literally just returned these... I also bought the Anker Soundcore Life Note and the Ankers bass is so amazing it puts these to shame... the bass on these was very weak in comparison... the JLabs earbuds were uncomfortable and didn’t get a perfect seal like the Ankers did... the Icons were $60 at Best Buy and the Ankers were $50 at Wal mart. Just my personal experience 😊
Biggest dissapointment for me is they do not sell a replacement case since most of the time it's out of stock. Now I can't use them and I am not spending another $60 to get another charging case.
I have these. My husband had the ones that are 10 dollars more with the bar at the ends. He got me these because I thought they were the same size as his, but without the bar - unfortunately, they are not. These are bigger. A lot bigger. I'm fact, they are uncomfortably bigger. They also slip every so often because of the extra weight. However, they don't have the annoying "aware" setting that the ones with the bars have. All that does is create an echo where you hear your own voice. It is a useless feature (that accidently gets turned on sometimes) that I'm glad isn't on these.

As someone who owns JBuds Air, I would say the extra 10 dollars just for touch controls would be worth it. I HATE the button on mine and I think it's even slightly broken as sometimes I press it and nothing happens, so I end up jamming the earbuds into my ear for nothing.
I got a sabbat e12 after edging on buying these JayLabs buds. And I have to say , I dont regret it ONE BIT !! They're an all-round killer. The bass is the best part (really strong punchy bass)

I hate the built in cable. Too expensive to trash the charge case when the cable wears out or gets accidentally clipped. They need a backup port but then the price goes up. Wish I could get this but charging cable is a deal breaker.

The memory foam on mines is already splitting apart in the middle of the foam. Only used within 2 weeks lol.

I have them. 6 hrs running time is perhaps a little generous. Mine are closer to 4:5. I would buy them again.
