I enjoyed this review, especially with your personality, you hooked me in the first minute of this review causing me to laugh several times😅
I have had the jlab jbud air for at least 2 years, actually now that I think about it I think it's more like 4 years that I've owned these things.
They were my first and are still my only bluetooth earbuds other than a cheap backup pair I picked up at Marshall's.
They do sound great and the noise canceling has worked for my needs, for the most part. I work in a kitchen where things can get quite noisy, the worst of which being music on Bluetooth speakers:-(to combat this I will actually wear a pair of clothes back headphones with noise canceling on top of my jlabs.
So now I'm thinking about and looking into earbuds with even better noise canceling. Or maybe I just need to go to a gun store and buy some shooting range earmuffs to go over my earbuds LOL but I am completely serious about that.
I've had no battery issues with anything that I've been using them for at least 50 hours a week since I purchased them.
I'm also a lifelong musician so sound quality is something I care about.
In short if anybody wants a good pair of earbuds for south of $80 you can't go wrong with these as they have been completely reliable and even survived a couple bathtub submissions😮 24:20
I believe the epics sounds better when it comes to make calls, but the airs definitely are awesome, thanks Brannon again a nice review 🤘✌️

Just got a pair of epic air jlabs and took straight out of the box but it will not turn on at all. Sent them back got a new pair and same thing with these I can't get them to turn on when holding for 3 seconds. What should I do?
Thank you for a detailed review. I want to buy the epics as they are currently on sale and cheaper than the airs. Did they have any problems falling out of your ears at all? My current ones don't fit too well (they were el cheapos, to be honest) and I don't want the same thing from earphones that cost $70.

I had the Air ANC, and the left bud stopped charging all together, so I took them back and the epics were marked down in price almost the same. The sound quality is better of the normal Air ANC. But the be aware mode on the epics and the quality of phone calls is almost second to none. I enjoy j labs except for the battery's! My olddddd normal j labs buds the case itself actually stopped working. It makes you wonder about the battery quality. I think if it was better they would rule, as well people complain about the app but I am able to control the amount of be aware or noise cancelling there is, as well as make my right ear bud also be able to with 3 taps track back. You only can't change the holding motion as the right changes the song and the left changes the ANC mode. I love them. Love how they work. Just don't like the battery

Btw I have has the jbuds for a very long time and the cord has not broke and won't break, I've tried also you almost never have to charge them but when you do just put it into a brick or computer. love them

Having trouble with mine it's like when I have both of them connected I only get sound out of the right one. It could be because they're connected in my bluetooth under two device names but don't know why they're connected separately
I actually bought a pair of Epic Air ANC last year for $50.00 at Best Buy (the lowest price has been $45.00). For that price, it was a steal! Good thing you tried the app with the current firmware, it improves the buds so much more (especially now that they truly allow you to customize every control possible).
BTW, you forgot to mention that the Epic Air ANC have a play/pause sensor.

How is the mic quality compared to qcy t13?
I'm on my second pair now because i loved the sound, bass, etc so much.... i got them for 70 euros and was more than happy with them.. after a year of use they wouldn't connect to each other anymore i could listen with them individually but they didn'twork together, i tried trouble shootin almost half a day (i have sensory issues and the earbuds helped tremendously with that.. so i was really panicked) nothing worked.
Got a new pair from customer service only 3 days or so later, i haven't even had them for a month and yesterday evening the left one stopped working..
I'm gonna give them one last chance, cause i really really love the sound, but I'm getting kinda hopeless, that three times will be the charm...

I'm using my air anc for the first time, just put them back in my ears, and got a message saying "be aware" and there's a static sound. I wonder if I tapped the pressure sensor on the side or what.🤔
Bought Jbuds Air yesterday and while I agree with you that the sound is excellent however I find that the volume is rather slightly low. Is there a way or mode how to raise the volume oris it that they do them purposely not so loud, so as not to damage one's ears? Thanks for your excellent review.
It sounds loud for me. Maybe try to volume up your phone manually and the earbuds as well.

My question is, for my next earbuds, (I have a lot now, yes I have a problem), I was thinking about the Klipsch T5 now that they are cheaper since they have a new model. Should I go on with the Klipsch or take the Jbuds? I love strong bass and high volume, since I hear a lot of podcasts and radiotheatre (I am weird, I know) and sometimes volume is not enough. I didn't get the blue earbuds that formed by ear, could it be because I bought them in Norway, is it a digest from country to country?? I didn't get the knap that's pounding with noise around you. sad i ordered the epic air anc but bass is quite important to me. Hope the app can adjust the amount of the bass on epic comparable to the bass of air anc on balanced mode
The Epic comes with an app with a graphic EQ, so you can adjust the bass, mids, and treble to your liking

I spent $150 on a pair of Sennheiser movement earbuds almost a year ago and now I'm a little pissed that these $50 air has a deeper and Fuller sound than the sennheisers. And I haven't even broken mine in yet I just bought them this morning lol

@@BrannonNod I bought both versions of the epic Air ones that wrap around your ear and they sound pretty good but they were $100 or $150. These ones even blow them away! I think a big reason why these sound so full and deep is because of that larger 12 driver. There's no replacement for displacement 🙌

@@BrannonNod Interesting. Is there a specific reason for this? From my understanding the GBP's don't have good call quality, they suffer from a low IPX rating (I think they are a 2?), their transparancy mode isn't all that great at the user hearing good voice quality through the buds and they don't have ANC. I also believe their latency is around 425ms and it doesn't improve much when going into gaming mode. They do have stellar battery life though. Do you think they are still worth the asking price ($100)?

There are usb ports on computer and TVs that will charge these headphones. You don't need a ac adapter.
I like to say that this cons are no so cons , first I was thinking this cable is a mistake but now after few situations when I was charge them from people laptops when nobody haves usbC cable, now I will say that this is brilliant idea to mount usbE plug there and this cable is bulletproof, you can destroy usbC charging point to if you want so...
I had a pair of earbuds made by Wicked Audio i bought them on sale for $20.00 Canadian.and they last about 30 min at best from being charged for hours and if you put them back in the charger they hardly hold any additional time and that's only using them on my android cell phone for phone calls not listening to music. Today i was in a store and seen a pair of JBUDS AIR TRUE WIRELESS earbuds claiming 24+ hours of Play Time which = 6.5 hours of travel Play Time + 18 hours of additional hours in the charging case. They were $69.99 Canadian on sale for $39.99 so i thought hey at $39.99 if their no good i will just return them. I searched through reviews on this model and came across this one and to be honest Brannon No d is 100% correct about these. They are absolutely fantastic , the sound is amazing and i listen to Rock & Metal music. I would gladly pay $139.00 for these.

I actually just bought the airs and i'm just sitting here messing with them and my phone showed that they were at 90% battery and I listened to music at a high volume for like literally 10 mins and they went down to 30%. SMH I'll try them at work tomorrow but that has me shook.
I think you have to fully charge them when you first buy. Mine did the same thing.

Yes you can actually, All Bluetooth versions are backwards compatible although the connection may be weaker and connecting times may be longer then higher versions

In my experience the cheaper you go the better the sound imo. The $30 pair too me actually sound the best overall but only six hour battery.😐
I’ve had the older model of the jbud airs first version for around 4 years and they still work fairly well besides the fact that they sometimes don’t connect but then again I have left them in the washer countless times by accident yet they still work great and I would say the sound quality is better than AirPods

Wire is a deal breaker for me
After owning perhaps 7 pairs of these I'm appalled at Jlabs quality control. To have to return pair after pair that 1) Won't connect 2) Won't charge 3) Won't reset 4) Are unstable connection. 5) ANC and Ambient mode are wonky--most all pairs are weak in this department.
To their defense Jlab customer service has been patient with me-- But look on other videos where many people have the same problems. IF these worked all the time and performed like one pair I have that's good then I'd highly recommend these. But one working pair out of 7-8 pairs? Sigh
At that point, it's gotta be user error. If they only had 1/7 pairs of these things be good, the comments wouldn't look like they do. They'd be full of unhappy people. YOU are doing something wrong.
