I tried the steps to help the left earbuds volume to go up again since it's very very quiet, am I supposed to repeat the steps over again if they don't work after a couple of tries? I'm fixing these for my friend because hers stopped working a few months ago and she's wondering if there's a way to fix them now. I cleaned them already so there isn't a build up with wax and I've tried a couple of tutorials but they continue to bring up tapping it 4x which I've tried already so many times.. but while I tap it four times and do it all the same way you've been doing it and how it's supposed to be blinking that many times and turn blue it doesn't really do that for me.... I'll keep doing this method until I get tired of it but is there another way to do it I've just been trying to fix this all day and it's getting really frustrating for me.

Thought my left stopped working, thanks for this video
@@JLabAudio i am having issues with my right earbud. i know that both of them are fully charged but whenever i take them out of the charger, the right earbud doesn't turn on. i already did the troubleshooting, i quickly tap 4 times each of the buds one at a time and the right bud is not responding. it just keeps on blinking 4 times all the time

I’ve had these 3 or 4 years and have always used just the right earbud unless on a road trip or walking outside. The past few months I haven’t been able to get the left earbud to connect. Today I watched this video and it FINALLY solved my issue. Start at the 1:18 mark and follow the steps… forget the device, tap 4 times on one earbud, tap 4 times on the other, take them out and keep them beside each other, connect device.. BOOM THEY ARE FINALLY WORKING!
All of them do that!! I've thrown away 2 pairs of JLAB earbuds over this issue & refused to buy them again. Except my gf did not get the memo. I just fixed my gf's JLABs with your tip. @JLab @JLabAudio why did you make them like that?? You basically made me think your product is garbage.
Nevermind. They don't work again & the 4 taps doesn't do anything.

Our Jlabs earbuds lasted exactly 2 1/2 months before 1 side stopped pairing. Tried everything. nothing worked to fix the problem. Jlab provided an RMA, HOWEVER, to replace the earbuds Jlabs charges exhorbinant shipping costs (which clearly cover the cost of the replacement product. For me it will cost 45 CAN dollars in shipping, + $15 CAN dollars for me to ship them the defective earbuds. Thats $60 to replace 2 1/2 month old earbuds. The warranty is useless. I recommend NOONE buy Jlabs products unless you like to gamble with your money.

These are great earbuds. If each earbud could be used independently instead of right dominant would be the only complaint I would have. I still enjoy them though. Also the buds can be used in the opposite ear with the hook going around the bottom of the ear. It might look goofy but it works.
Yah if i want to use just the right one i take them both out and put the other in my pocket

Yep my right charger somehow broke but the left still works but I can’t fucking use any of them now because the right one is permanently dead
@@sanity3729 The right one is the dominate one though, so you shouldn't need to take out the left one for the right one to work.

Finally!!! After 3 mos of left one not pairing, the 4 taps on each worked (right bud always rattled around in charging case). I held in place by ear loop and tapped 4x. They finally paired with each other. Finally.
What did you do to get them working? Mines only playing one ear
I bought these earbuds about a week ago and was looking for a "quick start" guide or something like that but turns out that they're so simple to set up that one wasn't needed and they sound awesome. Still getting used to all the tapping, though. Lol. They really stay in my small ears. Lovin 'em💯
Wish I read this comment. I’m an audio engineer and I can’t get them to pair. It’s either right or left.
Hey JLABS your cheap ass bluetooth headphones can’t even connect to an iPhone 13. Last time I buy inexpensive headphones. I expended shit quality audio, which it is, but to not even be able to pair both headphone? They both come up as different headphone pairings on your phone so you can only chose right or left. Buy these if you wanna listen to mono and get vertigo.
I have purchased two pairs if these Airsport J buds; and even though the first pair sounded good the right side did not respond to the touch commands. After returning these for another pair, the left side would not pair with the right side. Not very happy that I will need to return these as well.

The same thing happened with mine, good sound from the right and absolutely no sound at all from the left. The problem I have is I bought them in New York before Christmas and I've lost the receipt, so I guess I'm stuck with just one working bud!
The best costumer service I’ve ever had , completely understanding and helpful. Best pair of earphones I’ve ever had , super durable. A little pricey but completely worth it especially compared to other brands I’ve used like my AirPods. I swear I’m not lying or getting paid for this . My bf got me these for my birthday and I lost the box when I got home like 3 days later and costumer service sent me a new one in like 3-5 days. They’re pretty fair I do recommend 8.5/10 👌🏾👌🏾

First, let me start with some honest and sincere praise for this company. The customer service is some of the best I've ever encountered! I like these earbuds, especially for the "be aware" option which allows me to hear my kids as I podcast around my house doing chores. However, my first pair lasted less than two months with the left earbud suddenly ceasing. I'm glad I registered the product and the company was quick to issue me a credit so I could replace them. My replacement set was delivered on 2-2-23 and stopped working yesterday, 3-3-23. These are my most expensive pair of Bluetooth earbuds so I have been very careful with them, they haven't been dropped, gotten wet, nor has the charging case been damaged in any way. The company again has been great about taking care of me but I'm wondering if this is something that is going to keep happening. There is a 2 year warranty from the original registered product that doesn't "reset" with the replacements.
This is obviously someone who works for JLab lol
@eshine2001 nope. But I was gifted a set of these. The company has replaced them every time I've had an issue. It's annoying that they keep malfunctioning, but I've have nothing but positive things to say about the customer service.
I've been a jlab customer for sometime now , and I love them I just bought the sports brand the other day and I like these better they don't fall off. Thank you jlab 😊

@@Awesomevids806 Not sure how to fix that, maybe you broke the charging part of the earbud? Or maybe that side of the charging case is dead? Maybe try seeing if you can charge it on the left earbud's charging spot

Still can't get ear buds to join together. Tried this technique and many others. Now I have only the left earbud working where in the past, the right was the only one that worked. Any suggestions?

I'm still having one side of the earbud working and not the other even whe. I did as the video showed. Why is that?
So I had to rety several times, not sure if there is something special about it but on the third try it finally worked for me. You might have to do the right earbud first (I don't think the video mentioned it). I also waited a good 3 seconds before doing the second earbud, so I think you have to wait for both of them to fully stop flashing before taking from the case. Only other thing is i took them out at the same time when it finally worked.
I just bought some of these and so far so good. I am saving this tutorial if I run into any issues!

bought mine this week and so far i have used them once. the hook works perfectly and keeps the buds very secure. no worry about them falling out.
till having difficulty finding the correct size eartips for maximum sound quality. was easy to pair with my phone and laptop
No Maximum sound quality due to poorly fitted earbuds. 💯.

I don’t understand how to get these to switch on when the case is out of battery. The touch sensors seem to do nothing
I just recently bought a pair and when I hold the left earbud button it says movie mode/music mode. Doesn't go back a track or anything. Also when I call someone using my earbuds the caller can't hear me. I need help?

I have had these for a couple of years. I can count on these to work. My only complaint is the size of the charging case. Awkward in my pocket. Not to be contradictory, but I use my left only a lot. never had an issue. When battery was low, I switched to my right. No issue swapping. Great product.
try our Go Air Pop or JBuds Mini! They have a smaller case
tried the 7x tap method and my right bud does not connect with the left one, controls are working on both but music plays only from the left one. after reseting both buds in the case one blinks white/blue, another stays white, after pairing to the device they both fade with no lights and then only the left one works - some help maybe?

Just got the new "Go Air Sport True Wireless" earbuds. Had trouble connecting both together, it looks like you do the same steps in the video except you have to tap 7 times instead of 4 in order to pair the both of them together. Hope this helps. (What an unnecessarily confusing step, they should be connected together automatically.)

Ive had three in a row that refused to work
@timothyheinzl8233 mine takes numerous retries to connect plus they don't fit right so you can't get a good bass sound. They cost over $50. Should be under $15. They're crap.

@@JLabAudio my left ear bud is working but it also says movie mode/music mode and it turns off and on in the box and it seems that the sensor isn’t working what can I do?

For those who can't get left to connect, do what the video says about tapping it 4 times but YOU HAVE TO PUT THEM IN, CLOSE THE CASE THEN OPEN IT AND TAP 4 TIMES. after I closed it and opened it the lights should be solid blue, then tap 4 times, then connect. Mine are now working

When I hold down to back track a song it said movie mode or music mode, any tips?
I started having the same problem just recently. I had these buds for at least 4 years and didn’t know there is such option (never read the manual 😂). But I figured out that a single tap on left tracks back. Now I get only “music mode”. I wasn’t able to find a solution to this problem.
How can you tell if it’s fully charged or it is charged?

Just bought these and love the sound! Only problem I'm having is when I press and hold the left earpiece to try and go back a song it keeps switching between movie mode/music mode instead and I'm not really sure how to fix it. :[

Why did independent use get taken off this model? I have the new and old version. The old you could use just the left or right alone. Why change to only use right?

Hey question when i want to go back one track i hold the left ear bud in for 1 sec but instead of going back it says movie mode/music mode. It basicly wont let me back track.
I wear a tobaggan while I work. With wearing a tobaggan will it mess with the headphones since they are touch sensored?

I just got
Mine yesterday from Best Buy and they are for sure malfunctioning. I read the instructions and the left tap and hold for one second DOES NOT GO BACK ON THE TRACK.. instead it toggle the movie mode and game mode. When I tap and hold for one second on both simultaneously, it goes back on the track. Seams like a tech issue where the commands are switched

bought these a few years ago and the left one doesnt turn on. this was an issue from straigh out of the box. The light turns blue when i put it in the case but turns off after 2 seconds. No light appears when I hold the touch sensor for 3 seconds and nothing happens when I tap 7 times in the case. any help appreciated :)

Just taken delivery of mine, they look great, feel awesome but the sound is terrible, the volume is so low i can hear a pin drop whilst wearing them. i have turned up the volume on both device and buds, am i missing something?. i wasn't expecting O2 arena but i was hoping for a little boom enough to take away the sound of my feet as I'm running.
Hi there! First, let us make sure you have the correct sized ear tip. In your product packaging, you should have received three different sized tips, try these out and see which one fits best. Once you have done this, it will create noise isolation making it much louder. If this does not work, please reach out to our support team. Mine are working fine, but... if I disconnect them via turning off Bluetooth on my Smartphone, they can only be used and paired again if i put them in the case and take them out after a few seconds. Then they are ready to pair and will connect to my Smartphone. Is there a way to turn them back on and pair them, without putting them in the case and take them back out? Thanks!

My earbuds never blinked white at all. I've had them for almost a week now and haven't been able to use them. They don't show up on any device's bluetooth list at all either. Any tips?
How do you disable the tap volume control on the earbuds?
You forgot about movie mode/music mode in the touch button function guide. Hold both 3 seconds + at the same time.
What about for the Jlab suignuture?
What happens if you don't use an exact 5v 1a USB charging adapter will it blow up?

Um hello so the left ear bud doesn't say it's joined with the rught ear bud but it still plays sounds but it's really low???? Right earbud is so loud it almost sounds like nothing comes out of the left one except for when i only use the left one alone

I actually still have a problem if i move my phone away from my buds so much as a inch from my body they begin to go out and skip through the song and sound would pop in and out while doing so should i just get it replaced
