Hi Jonathan & Tom - Please please do give us who cannot travel an upload of at least one piece from Lichen Basilca in Poland and from San Sebastian Cathedral in Spain.
It will be 4.00 am Monday morning here in Melbourne Australia but we will be awake and ready for yet another wonderful experience! Waiting with excitement.
Hi Jonathan, this was so great ... wow!!! Thanks so much... I did enjoy every moment!! I wish I could have there!! Best regards, Maarten Buma Pretoria South Africa
Absolutely masterful. I would never have believed anyone could have transcribed and played this extraordinary pinnacle of Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony so powerfully. I had always felt that as gorgeous as the orchestral arrangement is, the organ itself was slighted, reduced to a powerful but relatively slight presence. What you have accomplished here is to make this "Organ Symphony" an actual organ symphony. Saint Saens would cheer your work and your extraordinary virtuosity. Tom's elegant video of this great event was, as it always is, excellent. The two of you have accomplished a musical and video high point. Bravo from high in the Hollywood Hills.
I think what most people miss, is that the work is not a symphony for organ. It is a symphony with organ. Just like any other orchestral instrument it has it's glory and it also has it's texture filling times. This recording however is a True Organ Symphony, this is Organ genius at it's finest. The original is orchestral symphonic genius. Both are genius in different ways and I feel that that distinction must be made clear.
Stunning performance Johnathan & thanks to Tom for excellent & visuals. Must be first time anyone has transcribed this piece only for organ & played it personally.
You have done great justice to Saint-Saëns´ majestic Organ Symphony, even to the extent of wondering: "Does anyone in the public miss the orchestra?" . . . You also managed to equal Saint-Saëns´ own statement on his masterpiece: "I gave everything to it I was able to give." Finally, I believe you´ve reached the Mount Everest of what is possible to achieve on the one-man orchestra that is the organ . . . Un très grand CHAPEAU !!!
Hallo, Oh my i,ve listened to this for a thousand times!! So terribly good. I wish you a good trip to Spain San Sebastian. It will be fantastic again! I know for sure!!! With Love from the Netherlands ❤❤
I finally wised up and plugged in my In-ear headphones and watched on a hi-def laptop. At some point I believe people should find a great performance of the incredible Organ Symphony with full orchestra. They should then come back again to enjoy the sounds of the organ and Jonathan's transcription. The intricacies of hands and feet movement still blow my mind. Tom, your audio, video and any editing was spot-on. Jonathan and Tom, thank you for sharing this whole beautiful performance and yes, blowing the doors off the place. In our world today it was such a blessing to hear such beauty and perhaps even feel wonder again.
Greetings from Boise, Idaho! This concert was absolutely magnificent! To hear and see you, Jonathan, live and in person, was the experience of a lifetime! And Tom, your audio and video work perfectly compliment the music! This piece was the entire reason for my trip to Manchester from Boise. I was so moved that I was beyond words when I spoke to both Tom and Jonathan. Your work is truly remarkable. To see and hear from the third row was a most memorable experience. Thank You!
Heard it a couple of weeks ago at the Bridgewater Hall. It was out of this world. Totally immersive. Jon\than (and Tom) is very talented and a credit to the organ (and piano) world. Keep up the lovely work, and I am sure the mouse will be dancing in the organ case!!!!!
Has Jonathan ever broken an organ? Well he pushes them to their limit. My favourite work, my favourite organist, my favourite organ. Truly brilliant! much love Alex
That was an absolutely incredible transcription and performance of one of my favourite symphonies. It was masterful in every way. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us. Bravo.
Jonathan the effort you and Tom put into your videos is never, ever matched! National treasures you both should be designated. Many of us have already come to this conclusion based on your high personal standards, and the integrity you demonstrate to each of your audiences. God bless your parents for presenting you both, as you express so well sharing the joy of music in your talents (so varied) of your art. Bless the two of you certainly, and those you love. DJ in Knoxville TN
I was speechless and very emotional! Everything was amazing: Jonathan's performance and Tom's video! Congratulations to you two! Many thanks to you two!
I came into this with wrapt curiosity and left in tears of wonder and joy. I don't know when I've been so moved. Surely by the brilliant writing of this majestic music, but even as surely by your arrangement and masterful and marvelous playing, Jonathan. I'm in awe. Thank you! And thank you, Tom, for your gorgeous video and audio recording. Bravo!
A standing ovation from this listener in Kildare. I've only ever heard this piece played live once before, 1974 Auckland Town Hall organ with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra and Gillian Weir on the organ. I didn't really appreciate it [I was only 12] but have always liked the piece immensely. This was a performance worthy of great accolades from all, thank you for your dedication and hard work. I hope that one day you will visit Ireland and I can have the pleasure of listening to you play in person.
Wow, that was incredibly moving!! Your latest RUclips stats do not lie - this was a wonderful illustration of the sheer Quality of the Scott Brothers' work, both sound & vision! This is what keeps your viewers/subscribers coming back for more. Obviously, it brought back lots of memories for me of Jonathan's glorious Organ Prom at the RAH! Personally, I rate that performance of his transcription of Saint-Saens' 3rd Symphony as his greatest achievement. Well done both of you, this was a glorious video. Thank you both for giving us such a wonderful treat! Happy Anniversary Jonathan! xx
Thank you guy's for doing this for us. Beautiful music played so expertly and with such feeling. The brothers never fail to produce the best in both sound and video. James.
I too was at the Bridgewater and can truthfully say that hearing, and being able to see, Jonathan’s live performance was one of my most thrilling musical experiences ever (and I’ve been around for a long time!). It was fantastic in concert 27 from Ripon, and of course at the Prom, but this latest video was everything you both promised - and more. Unforgettable ❤
Think energetic concert... this one! Great Jonathan! I saw his legs reaching all octaves of the pedalboard. Incredible. And the images of Tom that also accompany the dynamics of the music., Sensational. 🌪🎶🙌👍💐❤️🥰🙏🙋🏻♀️
Jonathan proved that it is possible to be "Great" and embrace the world in "Solo" and duet career, walking under "Pedal Organ", playing wonderful "Positive Organ" and "Swell" melodies. ❤️🫶🎶🥰🎼🎹🌏💫✨👍
Just re-listened to this today, for the who-knows-how-many-eth time, and it still shatters me with how heartbreakingly beautiful it is. Bravo, Jonathan - again and again and again!
At a complete loss for words- not for the first time, or the last! Saint-Saens gave his absolute all to this wonderful piece, Jonathan and Tom gave their absolute all to this magnificent performance- and then a great deal more besides! Moving beyond any words, and given so generously to share.
Jonathan and Tom this was thrilling to watch. Thank you both for all the effort you go to for us subscribers to your amazing channel. From these comments you can tell how much you are loved and appreciated the world over. Finally to quote Julia Roberts in the film Pretty Woman: "...it was SO good I almost peed my pants!"
Hallo!! All I can say is what a excellent performance and filming!! So GREAT Thank you very much B B.😊I like your cufflinks and red tie Jonathan beautiful. With Love❤❤from the Netherlands.
A wonderful realization of a spirited and evocative composition. That finale! Thanks to Jonathan and Tom, the Bridgewater hall, and the designers and consturctors of the organ. Bravissimo, tutti!
A truly masterpiece ! You are transcendent year after year by transposing such kind of music! I remember the first time I saw one of your videos, the Hungarian Rhapsody N°2, and I felt the same impression of immense virtuosity as today. Bravissimo for all !
The quote from Saint-Saens at the end is quite emotional. A heartfelt comment from a human soul. This is exactly what will be missing if AI takes over the arts. 😢
Wonderful. I have been waiting for this piece in this version. Nice new shoes too. My wife says she won't be able to recognise you any more. Mike in Oz
Thank you Jonathan for a superb performance it's far better than the orchestral one because the organ shines in every movement. Thank you Tom for your wonderful live recording it gives many people so much pleasure. ❤
If ever proof was needed that the organ is the king of instruments then this is surely it ! To emulate a full size symphony orchestra with such authentic sounds it quite remarkable. Well done Jonathan !
Wow!!!! Just amazing. Loved being able to hear it, but also to see it. Without the video, I wouldn’t have seen the many angles Tom captured of the concert. Thank you both ❤️❤️👏👏👏
Wonderful as always Jonathan! I am always in awe of your abilities. Give me a clarinet and put music in front of me and I’ll play it. But to transcribe something for organ and then play it with ten fingers and two feet is just a whole other level. Bravo! And Tom, thank you for another great video! Would love to see another duet soon!
Yet another brilliant transcription & performance, Jonathan, & great audio/visual from Tom as always. The Bridgewater Hall organ really allowed this superb work to be heard in all its magnificence. Thank you so much both of you! I heard Jonathan play this live with @BBCPhilharmonic orchestra at Hanley last year which was also superb. Great to have heard both versions from Jonathan. 😂
Congratulations for your work a masterful performance Although I do not understand this music, hard work is appreciated due to the virtuosity of the execution and the great work of the transcription Thanks as always for sharing!! ❤

Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankyou!!!!!!!!!!
You must be a exhausted! More than spectacular!!! It's a tribute to the organ builder that the organ could keep up with you!
It will be 4.00 am Monday morning here in Melbourne Australia but we will be awake and ready for yet another wonderful experience! Waiting with excitement.

Agreed. The person waving the stick in front of the orchestra, or the sound engineer, usually cuts the organ out altogether.
I think what most people miss, is that the work is not a symphony for organ. It is a symphony with organ. I agree with you.
Stunning performance Johnathan & thanks to Tom for excellent & visuals. Must be first time anyone has transcribed this piece only for organ & played it personally.
OMG!!!! Brilliant!!! SHEAR GENIUS!! BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO! Edwin H. Lemare reincarnated. I am completely blown away by this performance.
What you say is absolutely correct. The original is a symphony "with" an organ, but John Scott has given us an organ symphony. Both are great.
It just seems totally impossible for one man to be this skilful. Amazing performance as always. Bravo Jonathan.
Phenomenal, brillant! You leave me speechless 👏👏👏
Everything in this transcription makes me think Jonathan turned a masterpeace into a masterpeace !
Tremendous!

Wonderful, wish I was there!
Very very beautiful the best
BRILLIANT....ENOUGH SAID
Amazing transcription of the symphony, I am speechless, from now on I added it to my favorites music interpretations to listen frequently.
Wow! Stupendous! Thank you very much!
Marathon performance! Gold medal stuff! It's a wonder he could stagger away from the stage after 37 minutes of high powered concentration!
Incredible, masterful, wonderful.Wish I could have been there.

It's amazing what a human being can do. I felt transported to a dimension where only music exists, and it's beautiful.

Truly amazing, to transcribe symphony 3 is unbelievable, truly astounding and fantastic sound, thank you...take care
Has Jonathan ever broken an organ? Well he pushes them to their limit. My favourite work, my favourite organist, my favourite organ. Truly brilliant! much love Alex
Far from breaking it, he's cleared out any dust, nests and feathers that might be lurking within!😂

Thanks as always for sharing!! ❤
