@@radcustomer the biology honors classes are a lot more rigorous than you think depending on your teacher your english teacher can suck or he really good but also pretty hard (i have a good teacher but her work is harder than other teachers) for math it really depends what teacher you have bc i’m taking two honors with one teacher but my friends are struggling with the other teachers work world language is easy freshman year for the most part, at least for spanish world history (you don’t have to take history or world language freshman year btw) also depends on your teacher, i have a really good teacher of world history honors for tech AP compsci principles is hard for a lot of people, but i personally find it easy, if you’re good at logic and stuff you should pass the class sports wise, it may be hard to balance homework with sports practices (i’m on the golf team)
@@radcustomer if you had good middle school foundation you should be fine, i wouldn’t stress about it too much. i don’t know what living environment is so i can’t help with that
current junior at troy tech who took the geometry entrance test. it's fairly simple and, unless you do really terribly, only really determines if you get placed into honors algebra 2 or algebra 2 in your freshman year. edit: yes i do realize this was over a week ago, but still offering some reassurance as you wait for your results
Hi, I’m currently a middle schooler and I want to attend Troy’s IB program as well. For the entrance test I do have a few questions if you don’t mind answering. How hard was the exam? Do I need to prepare before hand? What did the exam test? Do you have to retake the test every year?
current incoming sophomore at Troy in troy tech. Don't stress about it too much. I have a friend who scored 30% in the math segment of the test (alg. 1), and 68% in the reading comprehension and still got in. based that you want to do IB i assume that ur well above grade level. the bar is set pretty low
I haven’t taken the test, but based on a search I like to set up a to do list and finish it at my own pace! Which sounds like leaning towards perceiver
I do science Olympiad we have not made nationals in 6 years. I am a life science guy I hope we make nationals this year.

so how do you actually study efficiently as you're saying?
Is the entrance exam difficult? Like is it algebra, geometry, and the sort?
When I took it I had taken geometry in junior high and it was a little harder than that. Honestly thought I didn't pass so was surprised i got in
